We bill time & materials, so accurate time tracking is critical. With Worksection, we track time directly in tasks and generate clear reports for clients. It also helps us calculate internal payouts consistently.

Pros

Built-in time tracking; hourly rates and reports are client-ready; tasks/subtasks fit real workflows; strong price value.

Cons

Would like more “executive” dashboards out of the box, a few UI areas feel dated compared to newer tools.

Worksection excels at managing complex projects with its 3 levels of tasks and subtasks. The Kanban implementation is excellent - it integrates multiple projects on one board, which is perfect for our agency managing dozens of client projects. The Gantt chart capabilities help us with project planning and visualization. We can see dependencies and timelines clearly. The pricing is reasonable and the plans are flexible. We'd like to see more analytics on team performance changes over time, and better control over notifications per project. Also looking forward to offline functionality.

We chose Worksection as the simplest and yet functional solution that allowed us to significantly increase the volume of projects and take full control. It helps us decompose complex projects into tasks and subtasks, set deadlines and control time spent. We share reports with clients for transparent relations. I recommend Worksection for digital agencies, for companies that consider the time of their employees and who sell time to their customers. The mobile app could be better, but the web version is excellent.

I've been using Worksection for over 12 years now. For me, it's more than just a tool — it's the backbone of our team collaboration: task management, deadlines, roles — everything in one place. The platform keeps evolving steadily — no unnecessary overhauls, just thoughtful updates that actually improve the experience. You can tell the team behind it really understands what users need: they don’t overload the interface, but keep adding features that make daily work smoother and faster. When it comes to managing teamwork, it's one of the best tools I’ve worked with over the years.

Pros

Project management, task control and deadlines, extensive functionality, user-friendly interface, friendly support.

Cons

In 12 years of using the service, I haven't found a single one. The project team keeps its finger on the pulse and is constantly expanding the service's capabilities. I haven't found any drawbacks.

I can definitely recommend Worksection for digital agencies, for companies that consider the time of their employees and who sell time to their customers.

Pros

I like flexible tasks and subtasks, expanded privacy for tasks & comments (because we are working with our clients inside Worksection) and built-in timer with hourly rates.Worksection helps us to decompose a complex project into tasks and subtasks, set deadlines and control time spent.We also share reports from Worksection to our clients on T&M projects, it helps us to build transparent relations with our clients. And we calculate salary for our employee based on these reports.

Cons

I'd like more insights on my team performance change and better notification controls on project basis.

As the owner of a company with 10-20 projects a month, I wanted to implement CANBAN for a very long time. But I couldn't find a platform that would integrate a large number of projects on one board. Worksection implemented this idea perfectly. I can control each project separately, and on a common Kanban board. For some projects I also use the Gantt chart. All in all, there will be several possibilities in one platform to organise project execution

Pros

The software is one that I work with frequently. Based on this, I lay out all of the work done in the office, including tasks and sub-tasks, which my staff may view and comment on. It is feasible to engage in conversation via private remarks. A very user-friendly and practical approach that helps you save loads of effort and sometimes increases the amount of work you get done.

Cons

I wish that the various boards could be merged to make it less cumbersome. I could get one board for marketing, one panel for advertising, and then one meeting for my entire calendar that I could publish to my management staff. Unfortunately, there is no option for me to get a bird's-eye view of the situation and then dig into the details of what's going on as much as possible.
