I use Consensus to bridge the knowledge gap about our product's functionalities for potential customers, freeing up my time on outreach. It lets me send informational videos and notifies me when someone views them, which is powerful for closing sales.

Pros

I use Consensus for my day-to-day outreach in my B2B sales role and find it extremely useful for sending potential prospects informational videos on our products. This gives them more insight into what we're offering before a demo. I like how it frees up my time on outreach; instead of chasing down prospects with follow-up calls, I can send a quick email with a Consensus video about the products or features we've previously discussed. It's great to be able to send catered demos and receive notifications whenever someone views or shares the email or video. This feature is incredibly powerful and helpful in getting the sale across the finish line. Also, setting it up was very simple.

Cons

I think the only improvements could come from our organization, and by that I mean, they need to create more content around our products for us to share with prospects. Our library around our AI products still seems to be limited and dated.

It's been a huge help in the overall sales cycle. It helps my clients be better equipped to have meaningful conversations. I am able to send information that might not have been addressed or perhaps missed due to time constraints on calls. It also allows for easy sharing and can access stakeholders that are crucial for the sales process.

Pros

It saves a lot of time and helps quicken the sales process. I will use it to send overviews to prospects for meeting prep as well as follow up material.

Cons

The demo board feature can be a hassle, but it's needed to be able to track video analytics. Rather than a simple copy and paste or sending to multiple people from different organizations at once, you have to create a unique demo board for every video you send.

I love how quick and easy it is to use Consensus. It seamlessly integrates with Salesforce, enhancing my workflow. I appreciate that I can track how much my clients are interacting with the content I share, which helps me identify what is most important to them and address their concerns effectively. The time savings for both my engineer and myself are significant, as it allows us to qualify or disqualify opportunities early on and send personalized follow-up emails efficiently. Furthermore, as an end user, I found the setup to be super easy since I simply logged in with SSO and was ready to go, which speaks volumes about its user-friendliness

Cons

Sometimes it takes too long or requires too many inputs to create a single experience demo board. I wish there was a feature to create preset boards that could be easily included in emails.

I've purchased, deployed and implemented steady state Consensus programs for two organizations now. Consensus has been a great partner. They are highly responsive and engaged when I need them.

Pros

As the admin, I appreciate the ease of setting up users and integrations. I like the new home page and analytics. It helps me get a quick snapshot of program and content performance. Overall, I love that Consensus gives us one customer experience from first demo to renewal, any time we are sharing content.

Cons

There are some UI quirks, but they are mostly getting sorted out. Which I really appreciate. In a year where they've completed acquisitions and extended partnerships, they still managed to listen to customers and fix some of the complex navigation issues that were challenging users.

I would recommend highly recommend Consensus. It's by far the best sales enablement tool I use. The screen recording tool works incredibly well, and the ability to have a library of demo videos to fall back on is well worth the investment

Pros

In sales, it's crucial that I can quickly respond to customer requests for product demos, but scheduling can sometimes get in the way of that happening. With Consensus, I'm able to send personalized, actionable content with just a few clicks.

Cons

I think it can sometimes be difficult to find the videos I'm looking for, but overall, I like the tool very much.

Pros

What I like most about Consensus is how incredibly user-friendly it is, both for myself and my customers. It makes it so easy to connect with prospects in a meaningful, on-demand way, without the back-and-forth of scheduling live demos. Consensus offers great, real-time insights into how customers are consuming my content, informing me on who to reach out to and when.

Cons

Nothing bad to say. The only challenge that I have, if any, is that my uploads are limited to a maximum of 2 hours, but I believe that is a company setting, not a consensus issue.

Consensus makes it easy to share tailored product demos which is a huge time-saver when prospects need to loop in additional stakeholders between discovery and formal demo stages. The engagement analytics showing who watched what and for how long give us genuinely useful signals to prioritise follow-up conversations.

Cons

The content management side can get messy quickly unless you build out a well-structured, maintained library.

Pros

Being able to show customers a clear snippet of what’s on offer without needing to run a full demo. It saves time, keeps prospects engaged, and helps them quickly understand the value before committing to a longer conversation. It’s been really useful in early stage discussions.

Cons

Honestly, there’s nothing major that stands out as a negative. If anything, there could always be small improvements around tailoring content more easily, but overall it’s been straightforward to use and fits well into the sales process without causing friction.

Very positive - an integral part of our sales engineering function. The Account Managers are also very friendly and helpful. It is an easy to use platform and it allows us to share material easily and gage interest in quickly in what would other be a very manual and lengthy process.

Pros

Consensus really helps our pre-sales/sales engineering team share effortlessly with the wider (and large) sales organisation. We tend to use Consensus in three different ways: (1) pre-demo 'Netflix Trailer' so that everyone is coming to the meeting informed on what they will see (2) up-selling modules/solutions that may be of interest to clients but are at exploratory stage (saving internal time and resource) and (3) post-demo follow ups. It is slick and saves a lot of time as well as an effective knowledge sharing tool. Very popular with the sales organisation as they do not have to rely on pre-sales all of the time.

Cons

No dislikes - easy to use. Perhaps it could be easier to add in marketing visuals at the beginning of demonstrations, but this may be a lack of knowledge internally.

Pros

Consensus has become a key part of my daily workflow. It gives me an easy way to share interactive demos that highlight the value of our solutions. As a Customer Success Manager, I use it both for upsell conversations and during times of change, like when there's new leadership and we want to rebuild product knowledge and show the full impact of what we offer. The learning curve is low, and the content management features make it simple to find and share the right resources quickly. It’s a tool that truly helps me bring more value to customers.

Cons

Since I’m sharing videos daily with a large number of customers, I end up getting multiple email notifications each day about viewers who haven’t watched yet. While that info is definitely helpful, working in a scaled Customer Success model means a weekly summary report would be much more efficient and easier to manage. Also, even though it only takes a couple of minutes to create a video, any time savings would be valuable given the volume of customers I support each day.

The program is easy to use, and it gives me visibility into my clients' engagement with my demo boards. The metrics are interesting in tracking this interest.

Cons

There are some glitches and bugginess, particularly with the Gmail plug-in. I have also had difficulty getting the recorder function to work, and must manually record my videos and upload.

It is a very helpful way to share demos without needing to run everything live. I like that prospects can choose the parts that matter most to them, instead of watching a long generic demo. The insights are also useful, as I can see who has viewed the demo and what they focused on. This makes my follow up conversations more relevant and productive.

Cons

It takes a bit of time to learn how to set everything up properly. Some editing and formatting features could be more intuitive.

Overall, my experience with Consensus is great. It has solved a lot of problems for me and has helped qualify a lot of our prospects.

Pros

I love how simple Consensus is to use. It allows me to better scale my time. Instead of needing to do live demos or answer questions all day, I can send a Consensus video and then track if my client watched it or not, giving me all the reporting and analytics that I need.

Cons

The one thing I don't love about Consensus is the demo library. It can be hard to manage all the different videos in one place and can get out of hand. I also think the creation of individual demoboards can get tedious at times.

Pros

Consensus is unmatched in its analytics and its ability to discover stakeholders in enterprise deals. We work with a niche buyer who has a complex buying group and Consensus helps us understand what each person is thinking.

Cons

I wish the analytics would have more options for viewing. Something like a dashboard would make reporting to executive leadership much easier.

Pros

The fact that you can have video content saved and accessible to work with the different needs of your customers, and you can access this through other platforms such as Gong AI and Salesforce and Outlook it makes it even easier to work with the programme. To also get customer open in sights and seeing how a customer has interacted with the videos works great too.

Cons

nothing it works great, there isnt anything that i dont like about concensus. The way it works with the other software means i can just keep working with customers.

Consensus has had a noticeable impact on how we run things, especially in early-stage sales. It helps us qualify leads faster, and our presales team now spends more time on strategic work instead of repeating the same demo over and over. The onboarding and support we received were excellent, which definitely helped us get value from the tool early on. It’s become a key part of our sales motion.

Pros

What really stands out about Consensus is how much time it saves our team. We started using it for presales demos, but it quickly became useful in other areas, too. Creating interactive, self-guided demos is pretty straightforward, and the fact that we can track how people engage with them has completely changed the way we handle follow-ups. It’s a much more informed and efficient process now.

Cons

It took us a little while to get comfortable with the layout and the terminology. Words like “demoboard” or “demolytics” didn’t click right away, but once we got the hang of it, everything made sense. A few things could probably be more intuitive out of the box, but nothing major.

Pros

Consensus has been instrumental in scaling our Solution Consulting practice. The platform not only makes it easy to share content, but also provides robust reporting and insights, allowing us to understand how our internal teams are leveraging the tool and how prospects are engaging with our content.

Cons

While Consensus is intuitive and easy to use from an end-user perspective, the admin side can be a bit more complex when it comes to identifying best practices. We’ve worked closely with our CSM to better understand the ideal structure and configuration, which has been extremely helpful in optimizing how we manage the platform.

It provides us with a platform to easily distribute the content our prospects requested more information on and allows us to continuously stay top of mind.

Pros

I enjoy the ease of use and the ability to stay Infront of our of our prospects in-between scheduled meetings.

Cons

Sometimes we like to send content via public links so there's no "front door" entry to watch the content. However, the analytics for public links are very limited.

Pros

The tool itself, tracking and compiling demo videos, does what it says. Easy to get up to speed and start using.

Cons

Some of the functionality of the created demos, and looking at the sent demos all together. Not a fan of comparing teammates' analytics.
