I still probably have a lot of learning to do on how to use it to its full effectiveness--but this product gets at some of the most difficult challenges of my day to day job better than anything else I've come across so far. Really powerful tool! Pros Really great product that helps with educating prospects, move deal cycles along, and cut back on the amount of handholding a customer needs through a sales cycle. Probably my favorite thing about the product though is the ability it has to help identify additional stakeholders, while providing insight as to what those stakeholders care about. Oftentimes, this helps me approach deals with an advantage of knowing what objections or obstacles could come up, and being prepared to have a solution before the prospect even brings it up. Just a really valuable tool for identifying key players, primary pain points, and insights into prospects. Also a huge time saver. Cons If our content was a little easier to find, search and view within Consensus, and I could use Consensus for discovering, viewing and digesting our own content as easily as I can in Highspot, I probably would never use Highspot. Rather than feel pressure to book a demo on the spot i am able to provide prospects with an alternative that can be viewed in a time that suits them best. Once we got consensus, I was able to quickly and easily record and create all the demos I needed. My sales team can now send these out at will, and we have tons of great stats on engagement. Additionally, I rarely if ever have sales people coming back to me asking for additional training on using it. My experience with both the product and the team has been very positive. Pros Easy to set up, good experience for your audience, flexible, well designed, modern UI, easy for sales people to use. Cons The software is great to use, I just have a few "missing features" on my wish list. The ability for audiences to ask questions would be helpful. Additionally, the ability for sales people to pick and choose demo chunks on the fly and roll their own demo package in one link would be good too. I believe that's forthcoming. We had a large account I was cold calling in and several members of that organization viewed the demo multiple times. I was alerted of that fact and was able to reach out with a key decisionmaker quickly and schedule a discovery call. Cons Using Consensus with Outlook integration, I don't like how Consensus times out and deletes the demoboard from the email draft making you start all over with crafting a demoboard to send out. It allows our customer/prospect to view them when they have time and also allows them to focus on specific areas they are interested in (Account creation, pipeline review, forecasting, etc). Cons Sometimes it can be difficult to find the demo you are looking for.
