Consensus helps to lead to a faster resolutions and reduced decision-making time my stakeholders. Consensus also promotes transparency in the organization by streamlining the various demos at each stage of the sales cycle and the decision-making process, including inputs, discussions, and outcomes. Cons It took me awhile to get used to Consensus, therefore I feel that other users also encounter a learning curve when initially adopting Consensus, especially if they are unfamiliar with collaborative platforms. April 27, 2023 5.0 Pros Customer service: the Consensus team is always will to received customer's feedback and welcome collaboration efforts to continue improve their platform.Easy of use: the system was very easy to learn. Reports: love the tracking reporting of who has accessed which demo, how long they accessed it. This information really helps the sales engineers to tailor live demos to what a prospect is needing. The "generic" out-of-the-box demo is completed using the recorded demoboards. Cons It would be nice to see an estimate of how long (or how much longer) is left when uploading content into the system. Often there is just a message that states "processing." But one doesn't know how much time is left for the processing to finish/complete. Review Source Harry S. Any customer call I've had where they've watched the DemoBoard, I get to see the Demolytics in advance, the customer may have shared the demo to more people, we get the viewing statistics, but the best thing, they come to the call with me with specific questions, not wanting a demo. This speeds up the sales cycle so much.Additionally, the team at Consensus are amazing! Our Customer Success rep, \[sensitive content hidden\], is always available and always extremely helpful. Pros Getting to see exactly when a customer has interacted with a recording, exactly who has watched it and how much they engaged. Cons Sometimes I find it confusing to know if I've added a video to a library that everyone can access (useful for standard overview demos), or if I've added a video that just a small group can see/ use (useful for sharing recorded demo meetings with individual customers). We are a software company and more than 30% of our deals close without ever doing a demo because our prospects are able to see our software in Consensus and determine if it will work for them. Cons The Dashboard could use some work. Hard to find older viewership data. Depending on the client, a private demo may still be needed but Consensus will sometimes eliminate a private demo from the process. Or it gives the client the chance to prepare more questions to allow the private demo to be more effective. I also use it as a training tool to send a demo post-sale and help retain the business. If I didn't have Consensus, my quota would need to be lower because I wouldn't have the time to do as much prospecting that I do without it. Cons I wish that I could upload my own demos into Consensus instead of needing to wait for our admin to upload. Yes, I can create my own personal intro for a demo but that part isn't important. There are other products I would like to demonstrate that aren't available at this point. Being able to showcase your business efficiently and even send meeting recordings to ensure all video documentation is in one place. The hard job Is not in the tool but in the content creation and maintenance. I use Consensus on all our customer engagements. You could say why don't we send a link to the recording - we could, but then we will miss the statistics for views, not to forget the discovery of new stakeholders. I recommend Consensus for showcasing videos and freeing time for consultants doing standard demos. The fun and real value is in the customized demo after the initial standard demo - and you often need a consultant since things need to be in the customer context and with customer data Cons Even though Consensus is a great tool, there are - as for so many other things - room for improvement - a few things: - A library of all videos - Tagging - Favorites - Customers only want one link for all demos - it needs to be easier to add video later on and keep the statistic - Document and link overview for all content - Faster development of new functionality Review Source Anthony E. We had no idea if that was the case and were left in the dark. Analytics matter so much and that's what Consensus provides our sales reps. It's also a great customer experience too - the personalization a sales rep can do goes a long way! Pros Buyers love seeing demos as early as possible in the sales cycle and Consensus is a powerful tool to engage buyers early on. Consensus has also proven valuable in other areas of the deal cycle - really anywhere a customer is engaging on their own. Powerful analytics provide great insights to help you better qualify, know when to engage or try another approach! Cons Consensus isn't a perfect solution but I appreciate the new features that are being rolled out. Initial training can be confusing - and I don't love how you can't send directly from Consensus - this proves confusing to end users. I also don't enjoy how it's an org wide setting to notify the video seller before a video is shared. These are just small nitpicky complaints but this software overall has quickly become our go to video tool. Cons Would like to put a disclaimer about this as I brought it to someones attention and there is a way around it, and I will have it fixed soon. But the way we have it currently set up we have to individually type in the prospects information and it can take a couple of minutes that are crucial when sending these videos out immediately after getting off the phone. Pros The best part of Consensus is how you can personalize the videos to directly speak to the needs of our client base. It is a perfect way to quickly share the information to prospects and we are able to track their level of engagement with the videos we send. October 26, 2023 5.0 \-really happy with it. glad that the company I work for implemented this as it has been massive in helping me send the right content to customers (we have alot of products with alot of modules which was previously difficult to sift through). As everything is in one place and we have numerous videos on each feature/module to send out, it is shortening the sales process because customers are much more engaged and self and armed with knowledge. As they have less certainty around our systems they are choosing us more. my win rate has improved overall. Pros i love how quick and easy it integrates to outlook so that I can send a demo vid quickly and make it personalised to my customers without having to go directly through the website. -love that i can create a demoboard and send multiple videos at once without different links. one of the most useful features has been where it asks customers what is most important to them so I understand their requirements and what areas to focus on that will help me close a sale Cons \- the outlook integration tool does not always pull the names of the customers from the email so I have to populate it myself sometimes which can be a little more manual at times. This functionality lets you directly correlate consensus demo boards with your closed won metrics. Cons I want to create tree link videos (multiple videos on one demo board) more simplistically. Cons Although the screenrecorder application enables us with the basic editing capabilities, I wish it was a bit more flexible in terms of playing around with audio and a more professional editing controls. Being able to see who watched demos we sent (or didn't watch) how long they watched, how many times they re-watched and the additional stakeholders they shared the content with, is invaluable to a sales team. Every single business that I have created & sent a Consensus demo to has had great things to say about the tool. They love how they are the driver of their own demo. They love how they can get exactly what they are looking for based off the answers they provide us. They love how because of Consensus, they dont have to wait 1-3 days for a demo because they can get it 30-60 MINUTES after our first meeting!! Consensus being able to show us where these customers spent their time on the demo also helps me knowing how to follow up and what to hone in on when needing more information on their interest in Salesforce. Pros I love everything about Consensus!! I have been on the pilot team since day 1 and have been a HUGE Consensus user, always on top of the leaderboards, and always making consensus demos every single day. Cons I'm not sure if I have a con ... but I guess my "least" very thing about the tool is how you can easily get lost in the number of demos that have been created.
