Moreover the Demolytics provide a good insight on the engagement. Pros A major upside of using Consensus would be the ability to generate a volume of reusable, bite-sized and customized demo library that saves a lot of turn around time and accelerates the sales cycle. Cons Although the screenrecorder application enables us with the basic editing capabilities, I wish it was a bit more flexible in terms of playing around with audio and a more professional editing controls. Sales reps enjoy it because of the analytics they receive back. SE's enjoy it because it keeps them from doing out of the box demos with unqualified prospects. Pros Really enjoy the analytics the tool provides. Being able to see who watched demos we sent (or didn't watch) how long they watched, how many times they re-watched and the additional stakeholders they shared the content with, is invaluable to a sales team. Every single business that I have created & sent a Consensus demo to has had great things to say about the tool. They love how they are the driver of their own demo. They love how they can get exactly what they are looking for based off the answers they provide us. They love how because of Consensus, they dont have to wait 1-3 days for a demo because they can get it 30-60 MINUTES after our first meeting!! Consensus being able to show us where these customers spent their time on the demo also helps me knowing how to follow up and what to hone in on when needing more information on their interest in Salesforce. Pros I love everything about Consensus!! I have been on the pilot team since day 1 and have been a HUGE Consensus user, always on top of the leaderboards, and always making consensus demos every single day. We have a broad platform. Consensus helps us not only understand which accounts we should prioritize (who is viewing / sharing videos), but also what part of our platform they're interested in. The CS team has been amazing to work with and always ready to respond to our questions. Pros How easy it is to create demoboards via the Gmail integration. It makes the process of sending previously created demo videos and tours fast and seamless. Cons The feature that is missing that I would love to see get added is folders for my personal demo library.Without it, depending on the amount of demos already created, it is really hard to find what I'm looking for.Also, the ability to save filters so I'm not needing to recreate them every time I go to my demo library. It's clean and easy to use by clients as well. Cons My only complain about Consensus is that when I create a mail merge link, it only provides a link. It doesn't provide a picture/video to copy. I also wish you could create multiple consensus demos with the same client information instead of having to retype the client information to create 3 different consensus demos. I would recommend it to anyone in the SAAS industry, it allows us to see how our engineers talk over a demo and allows us to take what they say and apply it to our demos as well as just getting the right information out to prospects. Pros I love the fact that I can get into more discovery in my initial call and send our Demo videos after that will allow them to see the product right away and generate questions for our Engineer. Cons How reliable is the activity tab? I have prospects say they have watched them but there is nothing in the activity saying they have. Not a huge issue, if they want to watch it they will. I’ve leveraged Consensus many times to send demo recordings by our solution consultant/engineers. We have an extensive ‘demo library’ and Consensus makes it easy to make each demo appear personalized for each prospect. In many cases, I closed deals without ever scheduling a live demo. Instead of going back and forth attempting to align calendars, I can just send a video and the potential customer can watch it when they have time. I came to my company with deep domain expertise and no prior direct sales experience. Consensus was so easy to learn and master quickly because it’s user friendly. Consensus is also fantastic to ensure you are spending time with the right prospects too. Did a prospect not watch the video I sent…? In that case I will put the evaluation on hold until a prospect can prove they are interested by watching the video/s and sending feedback before I schedule a live demo. Cons Granted it is a robust piece of software, but that sometimes comes with the difficulty of navigating to the pertinent information the user is looking for. Many clients aren't interested in lengthy conversations and demos, especially early in the process, so this is a great way to generate interest while introducing clients to our solutions. Some clients have decided to purchase just from watching these demos without needing a live demo, which saves our company a lot of time and resources. It allows clients to access valuable information at a time that is convenient to them. The detailed tracking information showing us who a demo has been shared with is invaluable in uncovering other decision-makers. Cons I wish I could send numerous demos under one link/demo board. It has helped fine tune my sales process. Pros This is an easy to use software that allows me to focus on the exact solution a district wants and then allows me to see what portion of the solution they are most interested in, it is a great way to cut out wasted time. Cons I wish that I didn't have to put in every person's name email address and title every time. It's easy to manage content and share it out and has a very simple interface for any external parties I'm sharing the content with. The demolytics are crucial in our teams efforts to be more efficient and targeted in our sales processes Cons It's a little difficult to manage the system at a high level. While there are many options when it comes to user management and permissions as well as folder structures, I find it hard to maintain and monitor access.
