Overall, Consensus has been game changing for my workflows as a sales executive. It allows me to provide detailed visuals that prospects may not be getting from other vendors and arming them with what they need to feel confident in making a decision throughout their evaluation.

Pros

Ease of use in sharing detailed demo content with prospective clients for them to view at their own convenience.

Cons

When using it frequently, it can be a bit repetitive manually entering in account and opportunity information so that the content is shared to the appropriate prospect and synced up with the salesforce information.

Pros

Very easy to use, and friendly interface. It really helps to save tremendous amounts of time during sales cycle and to qualify/disqualify opportunities.

Cons

So far so good, no issues faced for now. The product fits my needs and expectations. Maybe to have automated subtitles or translation could bring it to another level.

Excellent - from beginning to present! The product is solid and the Consensus team supporting us are exceptional. I hope every company I work at has Consensus.

Pros

Consensus has changed the sales game - not only for our account executives but also our prospects! It is so easy and convenient on both sides of the sales cycle now!

Cons

The only "complaint" is a user cannot leverage a virtual background when creating a personal intro video - but this is already a feature request that has been upvoted, so hopefully this will be addressed soon!

Pros

It allows a forum to create reusable videos to utilize at different phases of the sales cycle. They continue to roll out new features and listen to ideas from users.

Cons

Nothing right now. The software has helped us. Its easy to log in and make videos. The support model gets us answers.

It has been great! Customers respond really well to the quick video demos, and some of them ask for additional resources through Consensus to share with their teams.

Pros

I love how quickly I can engage a customer with our demos. Sometimes, writing out long drawn out emails or finding the right links to share with customers who are interested in a new solution can be really disengaging. The quick, targeted, 2-3 minute videos has increased my response rate from prospective customers and customers alike.

Cons

Previewing a demo can be challenging. There are a few clicks you have to go through just to watch the demo you select when creating a demoboard. It would also be nice to have a "default" set up for when you embed the demo into your email to cut down on the clicks, as well. For example, I usually do not include the personal video at the beginning, and always choose the thumbnail option. If I could set this up as the automatic option each time, that would be great!

Consensus is a great tool, I have sent 100's of boards out with minimum time spent which is a great way to boost productivity.

Pros

tracking interaction with my demo videos across the end customers organisation. The ease of adding users to view the demo.

Cons

sometimes the outlook add in doesnt work properly but this is more of a rare case and doesnt hinder productivity too much, theres another route to add demos manually if the issue occurs.

Pros

I like how personal it can be. I can send demos and tours to each individual at the school and each of them can have a different experience catered to their specific needs.

Cons

I do not have any cons as of yet. It is a great concept and website. Everything is very easy to access and use.

My overall experience with Consensus has been really positive. It helps me work more efficiently, improves the quality of my discovery, and elevates the buyer experience before I ever join a call. Even with a few limitations, the value it brings to my workflow far outweighs the drawbacks.

Pros

I like that Consensus scales me by automating repetitive demos, so I can focus on higher-value conversations. It gives buyers a polished, self-guided experience that helps them pre-qualify and come in more informed. I also get cleaner discovery because I can see exactly what they watched, skipped, and cared about. It’s especially powerful for multi-stakeholder deals since anyone can view the demo without waiting for a live session. Overall, it shortens sales cycles, protects my time, and gives me clear insight into buyer intent.

Cons

What I don’t love about Consensus is that the setup can feel time-consuming up front, especially when building branched paths or updating content. It also can’t fully replace a live demo, so prospects sometimes still need clarification even after watching. And when prospects don’t engage with the guided demo, the insights and intent signals you rely on just aren’t there.

Really good. The cons are only small but overall it's a great product. It's easy to use and the reporting and info you get back is great.

Pros

I really like how easy it is to share a video inline in an email with a customer. I like that I get notified as soon as they watch it and who they have shared it with. The reporting and analytics are really good.

Cons

Plug in can be a bit glitchy. It can be annoying if I draft the email first and forget to put the names in the to field then I click through consensus and have to type all the names out manually. It's also not that clear on personal video which one is before the demo, which is part of the demo etc

Pros

Consensus has been instrumental in scaling our Solution Consulting practice. The platform not only makes it easy to share content, but also provides robust reporting and insights, allowing us to understand how our internal teams are leveraging the tool and how prospects are engaging with our content.

Cons

While Consensus is intuitive and easy to use from an end-user perspective, the admin side can be a bit more complex when it comes to identifying best practices. We’ve worked closely with our CSM to better understand the ideal structure and configuration, which has been extremely helpful in optimizing how we manage the platform.

Cons

I haven't found anything in the Consensus platform that has acted as a challenge or created any particular pain point. It is a simple and straightforward solution.

I use Consensus a lot after my Initial Meeting and before my next meeting. It is a great way of identifying prospects that are more engaged in the buying process.

Pros

It is one of the best ways to see if your prospect is showing positive buying signs early in the process. If I have a prospect that opens and watches one of the videos I know that I should spend extra attention on that prospect.

Cons

The outlook plug-in is not great. I end up going to the Consensus website each time to generate the link. Sometimes I wish I could create a general link that I didn't have to make a unique one for each prospect but I still would want the reporting data so I get the trade-off.

Pros

I love how it integrates with my Gmail and I can easily add in a consensus demo right in the email without having to bridge to the website. There is so much customization which I love and it takes the repetition out when sending out the same demo boards but customizing the receiver

Cons

Sometimes it doesn't always stay connected with Gmail so it's a hassle to reconnect. It's a learning curve at first when creating your own personal demo, but once you've done it for the first time, it gets easier.

Consensus is a great second seller. You can almost create an idea of how a decision process works without spending hours on sales nav or asking 100s of questions on calls.

Pros

You can really build an idea of hierarchy of who you are selling to. Great second seller for when you can't demo to everyone too!

Cons

Creating the Demoboard's. You have to create a new demo board each time you want to send something to a prospect.

Pros

Easy to show demos that allows for easier workflow. I use it every day when a customer needs a quick turnaround.

Cons

Too extensive and that simply means that there is a lot that the platform has access to which doesnt allow me to fully utilize.

It's great, helps me keep a better pipeline by assigning videos for potential clients to review before investing my time.

Pros

I like the analytics feature, knowing when and how long they were viewing so I can tailor a response accordingly. The content in the system is easy to find and share.

Cons

My only gripe at the moment is the navigation piece when searching for videos. I don't know if that is a Riskonnect thing or a change at Consensus. I don't mind being able to search for the videos I need but a drop down of all videos would be nice. Maybe I'm missing it.

Pros

The ease of us in building a demoboard, generating a link to share with prospects. I leverage this tool on every deal.

Cons

Being rate limited has been difficult to challenge. Often, there are bugs when attempting to splice and submit videos.

Great! It's been a really good tool so far. I've had mostly positive feedback from my customers about the content.

Pros

Great way to gauge prospect interest w/out wasting time on a demo. Analytics make it easy to track how many times they viewed it, etc. Easy software to use. The personalized message option gives the demoboard a personal touch for the prospect.

Cons

I've heard from some customers that there's too many questions before the prospect actually gets into the demo. Might prevent some customers from actually using it, before they give up and get frustrated.

My overall experience with Consensus is great. Their support has been outstanding and we have a great working relationship.

Pros

The ability to collect data when your customer are reviewing the videos that you send to them. I also like the fact we get notified when new contacts are reviewing the collateral we have provided.

Cons

I feel like the interface can use a bit of an update. Also, I am a power-user for the GMAIL integration, and I think there could be several ways to enhance that for users (it's already good just think it has room for more).
