After that I was handed over to Colin, he has been amazing. He took so much time to show me the system, answer all the many questions I had and most importantly put my mind at ease. His response time with getting back to me was brilliant. Pros The registers Payments Information about the class Camps Extra features- trophies etc Cons Nothing really all I would maybe suggest is looking to the trophie section showing up on the register when you view it. Maybe next to the child’s name and also medical information. At the moment it doesn’t come up unless you click onto more details for the child. It gave me so much more time to be present with my children and less busy work. Pros My favourite feature is the ease of use! From not having to keep track of tons of paperwork for each child, to ticking them in on the virtual register, to knowing when their birthdays are in order to make them feel special, it makes running sign-up, and sign-in a breeze. Cons If someone signs up mid-month as a subscription they aren’t charged for the final two weeks of the month. You have to physically invoice them or charge extra the following month. It is very easy to use particularly when you want to rerun classes each term. It is also helpful when completing accounts. Cons It records what invoices you send but doesn't record emails. Using CFK has saved me so many hours of admin I cannot recommend it enough and look forward to seeing it evolve in the future. Pros So easy to email all my customers, professional booking confirmations, allows customers to pay by card, no writing down birthdays, easy waiting list management, I could go on! Cons Discount codes aren't fit for purpose for me, wish I could use SMS like I can email to communicate with my customers. I'd been searching for years for a system that did everything I needed: payment, email messaging, bookings, cancellations, price adjustment. before class for kids I actually had to give up my passion of teaching to be doing the "admin" aide of the business and there was just so much. using class4kids has allowed me to be a teacher again. Parents love the easy to use system and that they don't need to wait for me to respond or confirm their space during work hours. I've recommended class4kids to all my other dance teacher friends! Pros So easy to set up and use. It has saved me a ridiculous amount of time which normally would have taken me away form my passion of teaching. Simple, effective and all the features needed for my sessions to run smoothly. Love the email messaging and text messaging service to all my parents. Cons With not trading much in the year 2020-2021 if a child was not signed up on the system for a year the full contact would be deleted. I didn't realise this - think there should maybe be a reminder sent out that "you will lose these contacts soon" so you could reenroll them if needed. Reasons for choosing ClassForKids The price was fantastic for what I need. The fact that you get a free trial also! And the customer service is second to none. Everyone i've ever spoken to on the team has been incredibly helpful and professional. I also find the translation fee very high, and there are cheaper alternatives. Overall very happy with site and what I need it for. Cons Definitely a little more detail about a medical history like a PAR-Q type questionnaire would be handy, also being able to add a discount if a client was booking one or more child in would be great Reasons for choosing ClassForKids I like how friendly the team where, the monthly fee is affordable and the website is great! Pros It is very easy to use. With a couple of clicks you can contact all your students, or a particular class. Our parents think it is so much easier to register and pay for classes. It's great just to open a register and see who is yet to pay fees. Cons The copy phone numbers doesn't work, so I can never text multiple numbers via class for kids.
