Class4Kids has saved me a lot of time now and makes me feel more in control of my business. It also presents a professional image to the end user.

Pros

Integration was very simple and parents were happy to move to this system. Class4Kids software makes it really easy to contact all the parents within each class within a couple of clicks. I can also see who has opened the email, which can be useful when the information is really important, like a change of class venue. I love the fact that I can see the state of my business (class numbers and payments) pretty much instantly so that I know where I need to concentrate marketing and promotions. Terms and conditions are agreed to on booking automatically and sensitive information such as medical conditions is all held securely. Moving to digital registers has been a godsend, particularly when I need to make sure a cover tutor has access to these and emergency contact details, meds etc Management of trial classes - free or paid - is excellent. Payment management is really good. The teaching team love it, too. And finally, customer service support is second-to-none.

Cons

The only issue I have is when parents live separately and both want the class communications as the system only allows for one main email contact per child.

Reason for choosing ClassForKids

The other provider insisted that all income from the business was put through their system so that they charged their % on all income, not just the payments made via their system.

The set up and switch over was really easy and my parents really like the system which we have used for nearly 3 years now. I am really happy with this company - they have offered so much support during the pandemic, even not charging their fees for the year to support their users. They are only a chat message away and always respond promptly to any questions or issues. They are not the cheapest software on the market but it is worth it for the high quality service and user experience.

Pros

\- the subscriptions feature so monthly parents can be made - unlike direct debits you have to cancel the payment plans so its easier to collect notice fees owed - the way it automatically tries to collect payments if they don't go through initially - the companies customer service and support is outstanding - mobile and user friendly interface makes it really easy for parents to book trials or register for classes. -text message function is great -the analytics e.g percentage of places filled and financial reports

Cons

\-there are some limitations of functionality in comparison to other management software - the search functions could be improved to make it easier to email different groups of parents -you can't invoice for other services such as uniform, show fees etc only for actual classes.

Auto-generated class registers with medical & emergency contact info easily accessed by teachers. Invoicing is automated.

Cons

I can’t connect my corn or any other systems like Zapier. This makes it difficult to nurture or even track new customer bookings. When customers are auto-enrolled from one term to the next they are unable to apply a discount code. Trial customers can get lost between terms

It's been absolutely fantastic, The system runs seamlessly, it's easily added to a website, It's streamlined so many of our processes and now, it's easy to enrol each term and also send groups of parents updates or information quickly and easily. I might add, during the past year (COVID-19) the support, help and discounts over the year have been absolutely amazing, kind and thoughtful.

Pros

The best thing about the software is it took away several hours of admin that my admin team previously spent using spreadsheets.

Cons

That on each register, you could not leave notes on the register pages, to see updates more easily on each child. This was only an issue for us, as we do termly enrolment and sometimes need to leave notes on each register and we work of 10 - 50 registers per term as we run, a lot of sessions and when we have a team of people doing admin, calling parents about re-enrolement it's hard to keep everyone in the loop if notes need to be added.

Very good. They have allowed me to expand & improve efficiency within my company; while remaining receptive to improvements themselves and how they can support their customers.

Pros

The software is very practical and easy to use. The set up and booking system is well designed and follows a "common sense" approach. It has saved me huge amounts of time when registering/re-enrolling students, adding new classes & keeping track of orders. It allows us to share important info i.e. health and safety/emergency contact info with key staff, which has improved our health and safety & safeguarding procedures. The customer service is outstanding - the support chat staff are helpful, friendly and available. They are extremely receptive to comments and suggestions. They have been exceptionally supportive regarding the challenges posed by covid-19. The communication options are very good - I am able to easily send e-mails to parents and share info with staff.

Cons

The invoicing system - difficult to see what parents are receiving. Would be useful to have a 'nudge/chase' template, which re-sends the invoice including a chase note. We have run into issues when customers have made late payments, if a 2nd invoice has been issued for a new term, it hasn't bundled their total together, so the customers are unsure how much they owe. Some aspects could benefit from more personalisation options i.e. questions for customers, personalisation of booking forms, widgets for website (choices of timetable format would be useful).

It's a pleasure to work with ClassForKids, everytime we have an issue we can easily get the answer either through the blog posts or through the live chat. During the COVID pandemic as a company they couldn't possibly have provided more support to us.

Pros

ClassForKids is an innovative software with a forward thinking team that are quick to support us as a club to ease our admin burden. It allows us to focus on teaching gymnastics knowing that the gymnasts parents have an efficient and safe payment system to use. It provides easy access for us to contact details and medical information.

Cons

We would really like within the registers / waiting lists for it to be easier to view whether a gymnast is male or female without having to click on the individual record.

It is very user friendly and the feedback has been great from parents. The need to chase has been taken away making life a lot less busy!

Pros

It is clear and easy to use for both end user and administrator. All the information is clearly displayed and can be exported.

Cons

It would be good to be able to filter emails specific to coaches and their students. If we have a teacher unable to teach we have to email each class individually. Being able to minimise other terms when setting up new ones so you don't need to scroll down through the terms each time it updates. It would be beneficial to have subs and full payment as an option on one term set up but not sure that is easy to intergrate. The ability to see all the outstanding accounts in one place would be useful.

Amazing, the whole team are fabulous, I don't honestly think our club could have come out of the first lockdown as organised without it.

Pros

The ease of which everything you need is at your fingertips, apparently the creator had his own club and knew what was required, developed it and passed it on, the fact that someone knew what was required is fabulous. The whole process is well thought out and there not much it doesnt allow for.

Cons

To be able to attach a pdf to an email would just be the icing on the cake. When an adult enrols they shouldn't need to create a "mini me" to enrol on a course.

My overall experience of class for kids is one I'd highly recommend. I didnt know how much this company would change me day to day life. I spend no time taking bookings for my play group now and the parents have control over their own accounts. I love this company.

Pros

I love the time this saves me, enabling me to focus on the other needs of the business.

Cons

I wish there was a way to send credit notes without the risk of the code being passed around. My small business is a day by day booking and during covid I hit lots of points where I had to work around credits. I never found a way to do this that worked for me.

They have been brilliant to deal with I would highly recommend them. The opportunity to feedback or suggest improvements would be nice.

Pros

It is easy to pick up quickly and the support available is excellent.

Cons

It is quite basic. It would be great if there were options to put notes on customer accounts or flag up any issues (that could be seen at registration for example). I had originally hoped for the software we chose to be able to handle the finance side of the business as well as the memberships but we needed something quickly and to handle the rapidly growing membership and felt this was a good option that I could pick up quickly!

It seemed like the most user friendly and in the timescale we had, it made most sense not to overcomplicate ourselves with an all-singing-all-dancing data management package! Our primary concern was to have a good handle on members and course bookings and Class4Kids has been great for this.

Pros

I love the ease of the website, its so easy to send links to your clients and for them to sign up, the flow is good, its easy to absorb the information you need. the only downside is the registers it would be so much better if there was an app where the registers could be downloaded and used. I also find the translation fee very high, and there are cheaper alternatives. Overall very happy with site and what I need it for.

Cons

Definitely a little more detail about a medical history like a PAR-Q type questionnaire would be handy, also being able to add a discount if a client was booking one or more child in would be great

I like how friendly the team where, the monthly fee is affordable and the website is great! My clients find it really easy to book classes and see the information they need and I need.

I love that people can book directly and that all the registers are digital will every child’s information to hand along with being able to email everyone at an instant.

Generally very good. When we first joined I was incredibly comforted by the support. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] called me to introduce himself and was very friendly and supportive. Unfortunately now we find it much harder to get in touch with someone within a prompt time frame if we need help.

Pros

A generally all encompassing platform which is user friendly both for the administrator and for the customer. I like the modern aesthetic which although could still be improved, is better than some other platforms.

Cons

There are some limitations to certain settings. For example, the inability to download a register as an excel document so we can select the fields that are important to us on the day. Some discount settings are also quite limited. We would have loved to have been able to set an early bird discount and a multi child discount but not allow parents to apply both at the same time.

Most affordable booking fees. Other platforms make it financially unviable.

We used to use a rather clunky bespoke booking system which was not linked to any online payment - this new system has brought our business bang up to date and we are more than happy with the price we pay for that.

Pros

The customer support I have received whilst setting up and running the C4K system has been incredible - real people who genuinely care about your business! System itself is smooth and easy to use - intuitive for both my team and my customers.

Cons

At first it took me a while to get my head around how it would actually be implemented into my website and who would actually do that - but I think that's more to do with my lack of technical awareness than anything else! Problems dealt with smoothly and explained clearly... no matter how many times I asked!

Amazing! And the covid era has only further impressed and proven the are a caring company that genuinely want to help - they froze fees when we were unable to deliver. I know some subscriptions out there continued to demand them so I’m so pleased this company showed heart as well as the clear professionalism.

Pros

I mainly use this for camps. I can achieve everything I need with ease. I was quick to settle in to using the features with the instant online help just a click away. Will never go back and will never use anyone else.

Cons

The only very slight issue I had was that I offered different rates of sibling discount which can’t be differentiated but with the support of their team I got around this with discount codes.

The price was great and a trial gave me the opportunity to see if it was for me.

Amazing! The support from the team is fantastic. They helped give me the confidence to try the new system. I was so skeptical at 1st that it was going to work but I love it and so do the parents that use it

Pros

The ease of keeping track of swimmers and payments. It's great to be able to use the system to record attendance and message parents via email or text

Cons

Sometimes it can be tricky saying book on class for kids when it's an adult doing the booking. It can be costly if parents pay through stripe but it's good to have the options available

I’ve always been able to solve any issues or questions about the software and they suspended the subscription for a whole year during Covid which was very much appreciated.

Pros

I love the offline register feature. Very useful. Navigation is easy and has a variety of features - payment options, subscriptions, re-run of term etc.

Cons

There isn’t an option for single session payments. This would be beneficial.

Very good.

Pros

Class 4 kids has literally transformed our business. We’ve gone from 30 customers to 300 and 80 children on a waiting list. Parents love the simplicity of booking their child on month by month, rather than trying to find cash weekly. We love that we can now email or text our customers at the touch of a button.

Cons

Possibly that customers can’t pay for just one session, only by clicking a trial.
