Comments: We are a medium/small church with a small staff. This product has really helped us connect our volunteers and keep everyone connected. There are more features in this product than we actually use at this time, but we may end up using more in the future. Finally, I appreciate the responsive customer support we've received - it is really above and beyond what is normal.

The directory is easy to use and the folks at lumen are very responsive

Comments: The directory is easy to use and it fits all of our communication needs. Our members particularly like the tag feature and the ability to see their giving statement.

Comments: Lumen has been a huge help to our church. We love the online directory and its mobile site. It gives our members easy access to directory information -- and makes it easy for them to update it themselves, saving our office staff a lot of hassle.

Lumen's email has been great too. Our church has a large email list, and Lumen makes it easy to manage everything. Again our members can handle their own subscriptions -- deciding for themselves what set up works (how many emails a day, etc.).

We also use Lumen's Financial side. It is much easier to track and record the donations we receive and it works great with our financial software.

Comments: I love this tool. It is a great way to organize so many aspects of the administration of our church. We use the directory, several feeds, a few groups, and also the financial records option. We are about to start using the calendar as well. I could tell you how it works, but they have super slick videos that do that very well. Also, while this is in the newer stages of development, the customer service team has always been very quick to address problems or questions, and has always been there to help me understand ways to use this tool better.

As a side note, it would be cool to see some editing options in the feed postings somewhere down the road. Right now, you just use plain text, and you can't make anything bold or italic. Most of the time, this is totally fine, and I like the look of the clean formatting. However, there are sometimes occasions where I'd like to be able to make something bold, or add a hyperlink for something, rather than having the long garbled text of a URL in my feed post. But I'm certain that, if warranted, these features will make an appearance down the road.

Way to go, Lumen!

Comments: We've been switching our church directory over to the Lumen app over the last month. It has meant having the church directory at my fingertips. I've really appreciated the ability to quickly pull up church members on my phone, to be able to click through on phone numbers and email, and the ability to click on an address and be taken into google map on my phone as I'm trying to figure out where the Bible study is or the next visit. Church members can maintain their own contact info, which is saving our secretaries a lot of time in having to maintain that list. And the app can be used by our deacons to enter giving each week in a way that makes our giving reports run much more smoothly and effectively. Changing the existing directory over takes some time. But the Lumen staff has been quick to help and do a lot of hand-holding as we have walked through the transition.
