I am still using it daily and I would recommend all freelancers to use this app. It helped me a lot during tax season

Pros

It’s quick to add every records to just one app! You may access the records from years ago by dates!

Cons

It’s not that cheap actually as a freelancer I paid a lot for it so hopefully they can adjust the price

Overall, my experience with QuickBooks has been very positive. It provides all the tools I need to manage my finances in one place, from invoicing and expense tracking to reporting and bookkeeping. The platform has helped streamline my daily accounting tasks and saves me a significant amount of time. While customer support can sometimes take longer to respond than I'd like, the team has generally been helpful in resolving issues. Despite a few occasional frustrations, QuickBooks has been a reliable and valuable solution for managing my business finances.

Pros

I feel like QuickBooks provides good value for what you pay. It has all the tools I need to manage my finances, create invoices, track expenses, and run reports without having to use multiple programs. It helps simplify my day-to-day bookkeeping and saves me a lot of time.

Cons

Customer support has been helpful whenever I've needed assistance, but there have been times when I had to wait longer than expected for a response. Occasionally, resolving more complex issues has required multiple conversations before finding a solution.

Pros

I enjoy the flexibility to review different aspect of my employee benefits and payroll. It is very easy when tax season comes around to do financial reporting and a self audit of my expenses/income. The customer support is also pretty solid.

Cons

The navigation can be a bit clunky at times and doing historical research of payrolls from prior years is not snappy. The cost compared to other software is quite high

Pros

Nothing changed, I still love it and I’m carrying on using it. There aren’t any major updates but they keep it easy and reliable to use.

Cons

QuickBooks Online suits me perfectly and I don’t have any reason to switch but I could be seduced by other alternatives out there.

It is ok; there aren't many other options to cover all the functionalities QB does but it does need a lot of improvement

Pros

reporting functions are decent, you can create custom reports as needed. It is also good to pay subcontractors

Cons

It can be very hard to use, the help function isn't always very helpful. Something keeps happening and contractors kept going missing

As a non-profit organization with limited staff, Quickbooks Online has definitely improved our efficiency. Tasks are less time consuming and multiple staff members have access to it, rather than the 1 user package we had with Quickbooks Desktop

Pros

After switching from Quickbooks Desktop to Quickbooks online, I think all aspects are wonderful. Ease of use and financial reporting are vital to me and Quickbooks online delivers exactly what I need. I have not yet taken advantage of the free 1hr consult, but it is available when I need it.

Cons

It is not so much a con, but the Quickbooks online version is very different from the Desktop version, so there was a little bit of a learning curve for me.

Overall, it’s been a rough transition and is still a work in progress but for the price difference you gotta expect that.

Pros

QBO was a big change after using Enterprise for 16 years. It’s a much better value for sure but with a very different way of doing things. The biggest difference is going from estimate to sales order to Invoice in Enterprise which is direct Estimate to Invoice in QBO. There is a way to do a Sales Order but reporting in Open Sales Order is, I believe, a big that needs to be fixed. Getting Financial reports is a bit trickier but doable. Customer support is amazing, except when out vibes to Sales orders but having everything on the cloud mashes accessibility A+ It is easy to use once you get the hang of it.

Cons

The sales order functionality and reporting on open sales orders is the absolute worst to try to figure out.

Pros

It simplifies my accounting for my business - i can easily look at my tax year so far and project how I'm due to perform. Also links easily to bank account. Very reasonably priced.

Cons

There is so much in there, and on the app I find it a little bit glitchy to input invoices and expenses. The feature to upload a photo with a transaction also only works on desktop.

Pros

Ease for writing and printing checks. I have found the online version handy to use between our office and accountant.

Cons

I preferred the look and feel of the desktop version. The layout is not quite as intuitive on the Online version.

Overall, we've had a good experience with QuickBooks Online. It helps us stay organized, track our finances, and generate the reports we need. The biggest area for improvement is the integration with Jobber, which could be much smoother and reduce manual bookkeeping.

Pros

Easy invoicing, bank feeds, expense tracking, and accurate financial reports. It helps keep our business organized and saves us time.

Cons

The Jobber integration needs improvement. The sync isn't always reliable, so we spend too much time manually correcting and matching information.
