The software delivers on its promise of making documentation easy to create and maintain. Promapp has a very good implementation methodology which is very thorough and ensures the implementation is successful. Much better governance than what we were using before Promapp. Cons Lots of notifications with our current set up. We are still fine tuning to avoid people based delays with process approval. Pros Low-cost, as we can deploy forms to multiple users without individual subscription fees (as some forms software providers require). We've found it to be very effective as a tool to communicate business processes to people who are not process driven. It's integration with SharePoint is fantastic and has been to our success. One of the most pleasing things is that they have continued to invest in the platform and have added considerable functionality over the time we have had it. Highly recommended as a process communication tool, definitely not the right tool for process mapping die-hards as the functionality will frustrate experienced mappers. Review Source CC Carol C. November 11, 2015 4.0 Before using Promapp our internal processes were created using various software and methods. Processes were difficult to find and not updated as often as they should. Pros: Uniform look and feel Accessible in single respository Can be intelligently link and those links to other processes are visible Easy to use Good videos to get you started Local support are quick to respond Customer feedback is worked into product releases Product updates and enhancements are frequent Cons: I have none. November 23, 2016 4.0 I really like promapp, it enables people to quickly and easily update processes and procedures without having to spend a lot of time locating the process, formatting the process, up revising and getting the process approved. It takes the logistics and waste out of the exercise and ensures the staff are getting easy access to the most up to date procedures. Used the software for: ### "Promapp makes our live easier" February 13, 2017 4.0 We have been using Promapp for the last 5 years at the council, and have been great to have just one centralised place for our processes, policies, guides and templates. Promapp is really easy to use and customer friendly. Promapp dashboard is really clear and help all staff to know in just one look what are the items that need their attention. Mapping/writing processes using Promapp is simple and straight forward, and allow us to translate in really easy to follow steps any business process. Many processes are time-bound (ie, occur at the same time each week/month/year). It would make Promapp much more powerful if the schedule for process execution could be managed within Promapp. However, Promapp have stated they're not interested in developing such a feature. Cons We continue to have server issues and the Nintex support leaves a lot to be desired.
