Great graphics, mouse roll over helps with not having to click into information. Variety of departments can adjust information and has reminders and rating to keep information relevant.

Pros

That I can obtain information that is up to date from my peers and management.

Cons

Make it more usable for first time users, rather than those that already know the system.

The licence cost was more then I expected, though when average out across the whole university and based on the local process efficiency gains it should have a compelling business case

The process map and the details you can go making a process is very good and exactly what we need. However, the speed and bugs in each upgrade for a client hosted version is very frustrating. I think clients in hosted environment will be happier than the self hosted clients. Need more attention for self hosted clients if the product is being sold as you can have it hosted in your own DC.

Pros

I liked that Promapp and other Nintex applications can work together (Workflow and Forms for example) to provide a richer and more productive experience. The tool simplifies how to connect to processes and policies within an organisation easily, without having to read a tonne of documents, or having to figure out what is going on in a highly complex diagram.

Cons

There is a learning curve with Promapp. It is a great tool, but even the greatest tools require thought behind how to master them. If you want to use Promapp correctly and unleash all the good bits, you have to be prepared to learn how to do it.

Not only will I be able to view the process for each task, I will also have quick access to the docs I need to use. It has a process and doc for just about anything I could possibly think of needing. Excellent!

Really like the interface when you're building a process, it was logical and intuitive.

Cons

The inability to 'loop' back to a previous step - i.e. if 'this' happened then do 'this' worked, but the if 'that' happened go back to step xyz wasn't an option.

Ease and automation of a process that was all done on paper in the past and lacked real data.

Pros

Ability to bridge data from multiple platforms and automate processes to save both time and cut back on paper waste. We are making our performance reviews more meaningful having real data included.

Cons

Forms not as easy to manipulate/format, some things seem to require a lot of manipulation. The initial setup took longer than we were originally thinking.

Its flexibility The format helps you keep to the point and try to find the best way of expressing yourself - to provide clarity for the process user It is very helpful to be able to move whole activity blocks to re-order steps in the process

The software won't turn a poor process writer into a good process writer, but the format is a starting point

The Foxtrot technology works like an automated employee. It's easy to learn to use and works incredibly fast and with 100% accuracy. One does not need to be an IT professional and it can be quickly learned and used by non-tech personnel to automate database management.

As a general purpose tool Promapp is in a league of its own. It's so easy to use I could teach my parents how to map processes. If you're looking to empower your employees to be the best they can be, this is the tool for you.
