This has meant we have replaced some legacy applications for a fraction of the time and cost involved with building new custom coded solutions. Pros It's ability to connect to all our other business systems, such as SQL Server and Oracle, and create workflow processes quickly and easily. Cons We had a few teething issues with the installation and setup but these are to be expected when introducing a new system, but I have not found anything that I dislike. I was a litlle scared that the new version will corrupt my old scripts, or has a different way of working than Foxt 11. Well I was surprised how easy the installation went, then opening the application it was so easy to use. I just need to get to know this version better, but till now a great success to our company. We have been using Foxtrot more than 5 years and will not switch from it. Pros A lot of functions you can use to simplify and automate processes. It converts from an old version of Foxtrot without damaging your script Graph User Interface is perfect Cons Till now everything is ok. Pros Foxtrot solves a lot of my routine tasks. The installation / update process is very simple and straightforward and takes a few minutes. You don't have to be IT guru to work with it :) You can learn really fast. Also the product is updated regularly. And even I am not using it for a long time, but I can see and appreciate all the improvements of new versions. Now that there are other competing products at lower costs, I'm not sure I would use this again. With the right governance and buy in from the whole business, this product can be the go to place for business process and source of truth. The only issue I have with the tool is you have to link a process from one side of a decision unlike Visio where decisions can have there own stream that then links back into the original process. Normally I am able to create things like automatic Action Item email reminders. The interface is pretty easy to use for simple actions like this. Diagnosis abilities for issues are fairly helpful. Cons Sometimes when there are issues with workflows, they can be difficult to find a solution. Cons Honestly, there aren't many things that I dislike.
