November 30, 2016 4.0 Promapp is a fantastic program that gives all staff members the ability to take responsibly for understanding their companies system processes. It gives the staff an efficient approach to looking for information and processes on what they are trying to achieve. A staff member does not need to go and disturb another co-worker asking questions on how to do a task for example, fill in a leave form or how to order stationary. The staff member can simply go onto Promapp, search the relevant request and all processes associated with the key words in the search will open in a drop down box. Promapp is a quick and easy tool to use, especially when all staff members take on a active roll in keeping processes up to date. Our aim was to remove the need for a manual process and empower our managers to look after their own documents. We want to keep tight control to meet the requirements of our business, ISO9001 and other standards. The helpfulness of the Nintex team made this easy. Pros It is so well integrated with SharePoint. I have also been amazed at the willingness of Nintex product engineers to provide webinars, help and best practice advice. They took us from 0 - 60 in a few weeks. August 8, 2017 3.0 workflow automation Pros This software creates a more automated flow of email notifications to participants in the performance review process. Once the process is finalized, emails will be generated based on a set schedule and other parameters that have been set up. It also acts as a "bridge" to capture information in a form to store on SharePoint. Cons The set up of the "form" in Nintex is extremely manual. I just wish I had more time to get in there and get started. I am sure I will but for now my time in there was limited. Pros So easy to use. I am a primary user of Visio we I showed a flow that took me days to do and when I recreated it in Promapps it took me hours. Also like that everything is centralized and searchable Cons I would like to bold certain words in the flow and the Actions and can't. Pros The looks of the forms is the most appealing and the ability to connect to other cloud systems. Cons Some integration are still not that easy and also limitation in terms of how many boxes can we have in the form. Reason for choosing Nintex Process Platform The looks of the form is great. January 25, 2017 5.0 We work in a highly regulated industry that expects our process control "words" to meet the reality and standards of what we do. Promapp has ensured ease of management and control over our processes and the ability to update when changes to regulations occur. Being able to link to current versions of regulations ensures we are never caught out. Also having all staff with access to the correct versions of processes ensures again we are not caught out being out of date. We do not utilise Promapp to the full extent of its functionality but what we do use is vitally important to us and has impressed so many external auditors over the years. My favourite aspect is using the processes as a supplement to training new employees.
