I have been using Ever since I have been using it in my office I can see a significant change it's a fast, one-point system where I can do my inventory raise a purchase order, track history compare products cost get all my invoices in the same system. The best part is since it's online also I can open it from any place and be updated. It's the most logical software which is out there. Cons It is a 5-star software. I like the software as it has helped me grow. Mostly it has saved me lots of time and man-hours searching for invoices at year-end tax time. Review Source SR Sherry R. The customer service team has been very responsive to any question we ask. Pros We use Spendwise to create and track miscellaneous invoices. Before this software, we were tracking manually and it was very cumbersome. This allows us to have one place to refer to for invoice details, payment received and where we deposited the funds. Cons There are numerous levels in creating the structure for invoice lines. I had to back my way into figuring out how to do it. Maybe if there was a diagram that indicated what items were needed to be in place before invoices could be created. This helped us keep all of our orders in one location so that if one of us was not present that the others would know what had been ordered. Pros It allowed us to keep vendors saved for future use. We were able to reference different orders to the PO numbers. It allowed us to continue to reference old PO's to see what transaction happened that had taken place before our hire. Cons The search engine was very specific. If we were looking for drawstring bags and it was entered in as draw string bags the search field wouldn't find it. I wish that a bit more information about the order would appear in the list screen. We would place multiple orders in a day from the same vendor. If we were searching for a particular item but the search feature didn't pull it up we would have to search through the many PO's from that particular vendor click in and closing out each one until we find the right one. Where if there was a column that showed the notes or possibly 1 line item in the PO that would help find things quicker. Pros The ease with which I can find a supplier for a rare commodity, see how much the market rate is for different things, or what we spent on it in the past. Cons The only gripes I have are byproducts of the process of manually entering information, and when I can't find something in Spendwise because I didn't describe it very well in the program. Cons Searching for specific details you need to pull a report, it would be nice if the search bar were more specific. Reason for choosing Spendwise I researched 10 to 15 companies before choosing Spendwise, all of them were 5+ times more in price and there customer service was mostly overseas. Cons The inability to modify inventory type (inventory vs non-inventory) after creation. It would be a major improvement to allow you to change the type instead of having to create a new item. I understand your point about allowing users to modify type so that you don't have to create a new item if you want to change. The tricky part is what to do with past transactions since they would have been handled in the system based on type when they were recorded. We think it is important to be consistent with how different types of transactions are handled in the system but also feel it is important to maintain the integrity of historical data. Cons Some of the reporting is limited. It would be nice to generate a report that provides invoices by sales rep. Also, a report showing remaining open balance on a sales order. Some of the parameters in setting users up is limiting. I have a need for letting people view all sales orders but not be able to change them. We do have a report for sales orders by sales rep but currently not one for invoices by sales rep as you point out. I think that adding this report is certainly worth considering and will discuss internally to see what we can do. January 9, 2019 5.0 As our PO platform this has enabled us to generate PO's regardless of where we are and can easily submit to a manger for approval. It is a great platform. Pros We have been using Officewise for our PO needs and couldn't be happier. The ability manage the system is self explanatory. They have great customer service! Cons We have not had any issues with Officewise. The platform is straight forward and easy to use. To reduce the risk of duplication the system does prevent users from creating new items that have the same Item ID as an existing item but we understand sometimes that is not enough to prevent duplication. To further reduce risk and maintain consistency in part name/number we recommend limiting which users can add new parts through roles so that only certain authorized users can add new items. Good ability to edit items without having to create new ones. Cons A cumbersome search feature that won't always work, especially if some label is already existing in a box at the top of the page. Sometimes the search feature just returns blank returns. Need more searchable fields in the top header. Need the ability to rename fields and then be able to search them in the top header. As a busy Design Firm we need all the help we can get keeping track of furniture orders, cabinets, tile and everything we order for a project. The report system allows us to to do a print out and mark it with expected ship dates and helps us to track what is on order for several projects at once. Best money we ever spent! April 2, 2019 4.0 Pros We used to manage office expenses in a very casual and non-itemized way. After implementing expenses into Spendwise we were able to see what subscriptions we were paying for, how costly our internet service had gotten over the years, and where we need to adjust budgets for business luncheons. Cons It would be nice if SpendWise offered more to their basic account offering as well as integrate a mobile app for when you are leisurely checking in on spending on the go.
