### "Microsoft PowerPoint Makes Learning, Teaching, and Presenting So Much Easier"

July 2, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with Microsoft PowerPoint has been excellent. It has supported me during my exam preparation, helped me create educational content as a physiotherapist, and made it easy to present information in a clear and engaging way. It's easy to learn, offers plenty of creative options, and continues to be one of the most useful Microsoft Office applications I use. I would highly recommend it to students, healthcare professionals, educators, and anyone who regularly creates presentations.

Pros

As a physiotherapist, Microsoft PowerPoint has been an important tool throughout my professional journey. When I was preparing for my physiotherapy licensing exam after moving from India to Canada, I created presentations to summarize difficult topics, organize my notes, and revise more effectively. Breaking complex concepts into slides made studying much easier. I also use PowerPoint to create educational presentations and visual content related to physiotherapy. I like the wide variety of templates, icons, SmartArt, and animations that help make my presentations look professional without requiring any graphic design experience. The ability to add images, videos, and charts in one place makes it a very versatile tool. Even for personal use, I've created presentations for planning, organizing ideas, and sharing information with family. The interface is simple, and I can quickly turn ideas into polished presentations. Cons: What did you like least about Microsoft PowerPoint? The only drawback I've experienced is that presentations with many high-resolution images or videos can become quite large and occasionally run slower on older computers. I also wish there were more premium templates included with the standard version. ### "Microsoft PowerPoint: Business Perspective"

June 15, 2026

5.0

PowerPoint is a user-friendly, versatile tool for creating professional presentations and has customization, templates, and multimedia options. It ensures easy sharing and brand consistency. However, mastering advanced features is challenging, compatibility issues can occur, and technical problems may occur during presentations if files are not carefully prepared.

Pros

PowerPoint is a great tool when trying to provide a visual during presentations. Overall, PowerPoint is easy to use and even beginners can create professional looking slides. The ability to customize each document and each individual slide to the suit the required content is endless and allows for business branding and consistency. For beginners, templates are helpful and ensure a slideshow remains professional and clean with minimal training. PowerPoint is the industry standard program therefore files are easy to share with clients and team members. Images, videos, graphs and charts can be easily incorporated with PowerPoint which ensures outside documents and sources can be easily shared during a presentation.

Cons

PowerPoint is the industry standard which as a result can sometimes overused presentation styles. To ensure a PowerPoint stands out, often times advanced features are required; advanced features have quite a learning curve. In addition, advanced users often have to consider compatibility settings and issues, particularly when embedding videos or social media content. The largest downside to PowerPoint is the potential for technical issues during presentations, especially if not tested beforehand.

### "Powerful but Slow, with a Steep Learning Curve"

November 5, 2025

3.0

My experience with PowerPoint started off rocky; I was annoyed by how complex and unintuitive it felt compared to Google Slides. Over time, it grew on me and I’ve become more comfortable with it, but I still find myself wishing it were lighter, faster, and more user-friendly. It’s a robust tool, but the learning curve and performance issues can be discouraging.

Pros

After getting used to it, I appreciate the wide range of design tools and customization options PowerPoint offers. Once you become familiar with the interface, it can be quite powerful for creating polished, professional presentations.

Cons

Coming from Google Slides, I found PowerPoint much less intuitive. Many tools were hard to locate, and I had to watch several tutorials just to perform basic tasks. When files get heavy, the program can slow down significantly, making it frustrating to work with. I also wish there were simpler, more precise tools to help center and align elements on a slide.

### "brilliant presentation editor for anybody"

May 12, 2026

5.0

Really positive, the upgrades in tools and templates have been fantastic over the years, including some really slick animation slides and shadows.

Pros

It's still the simplest presentation creation platform to use. Keeping the same user interface whilst adding useful tools, templates and features has been a key reason it's still my go-to.

Cons

For the price point of the software it's really hard to find negatives about it, as the platform does many tasks incredibly well. One feature that could be improved in my opinion is the ease of removing background from images, with many sites now finder introvert ways on acheiving this Microsoft Powerpoint still lacks a quick and crisps removal of backgrounds.

### "A Reliable Tool for Creating Professional Presentations"

July 30, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with PowerPoint has been positive. It is a reliable tool for creating professional presentations, organizing information, and sharing ideas visually. The templates and editing features make it useful for both beginners and experienced users.

Pros

PowerPoint is easy to use and offers many professional templates, design tools, and customization options. I like that it makes it simple to create organized presentations with images, charts, and visuals for business or personal use.

Cons

Some advanced features can take time to learn, and creating highly customized presentations can be time-consuming. Large files may also become slower to edit or share.

### "PowerPoint Has Helped Me Learn, Present Ideas, and Grow Professionally"

July 3, 2026

5.0

PowerPoint has been a useful part of both my professional and personal life. It has helped me organize ideas, study more effectively, create presentations that look professional, and even support my wife during an important stage of her career. It's easy to use, reliable, and packed with features that save time. I use it regularly and would confidently recommend it to anyone who wants to create professional presentations without a complicated learning process.

Pros

I've been using Microsoft PowerPoint for several years, and it's one of the Microsoft tools I keep coming back to. I work in retail, and whenever I take training courses or learn something new, I like organizing my notes into presentations instead of long documents. It helps me understand concepts better and makes it easier to go back and revise later. I've also used PowerPoint while completing professional courses and learning about investing and trading. Creating slides with charts, screenshots, and key points helps me stay organized and track my learning. I also helped my wife while she was preparing for her physiotherapy licensing exam in Canada by reviewing some of her PowerPoint presentations and suggesting ways to make them clearer. It became something we worked on together. I really like the ready-made templates, Designer feature, icons, and animations. They make presentations look polished without requiring any design experience.

Cons

The only thing I'd improve is the mobile version. It's great for viewing presentations, but making edits on a phone isn't as convenient as on a computer. I also wish there were more high-quality templates included without an extra subscription.

### "Excellent Software"

July 10, 2026

5.0

I have used PowerPoint for the past 35 years for both small and large audiences. It is good for overhead projection or likewise for paper printed copies.

Pros

PowerPoint is very easy to use and intuitive. There are templates which can be used or create your own. It is excellent for presentations to small or large audiences. It is very flexible and can produce high quality presentations. Importing images or files from other Microsoft products is very simple. It is useful to practise timings to get the overall presentation just right.

Cons

There is nothing to dislike about Powerpoint. It is all good. There isn't anything negative that comes to mind.

### "PowerPoint: The Gold Standard"

June 24, 2026

5.0

PowerPoint is still a premium product that has remained at the top of its market from inception. It has an embarrassment of riches to help users craft a deck for any situation.

Pros

PowerPoint is the gold standard for creating a slide deck, with endless features for creating interactive, professional layouts at a bargain price. The ready-to-load templates are great for beginners and easy to edit to your liking.

Cons

There's really no drawback to PowerPoint besides the lack of consistent updates to better gear content to the ever-changing norms of content.

### "The efficient use of PowerPoints with a learning curve"

July 29, 2026

5.0

Overall the experience has been very good. I’m at the stage in using it now where making presentations is easy and I save myself time in work by using PowerPoint to create presentations

Pros

I like how it makes creating presentations and documents easy and how efficient it is in doing so. The templates that are provided are very good to be used as a starting point.

Cons

At first it can be quite difficult to navigate and start creating presentations as there is a lot of options within PowerPoints User interface. So the learning curve is quite steep I believe

### "Great Microsoft PowerPoint"

April 9, 2026

5.0

Overall I would say that Microsoft PowerPoint is amazing and I have had a great experience using it over the past few years!

Pros

I like that you can create your own power points with Microsoft PowerPoint and that it is easy to use. You can use templates that are already incorporated in it, or make your own. Great customer support and value for money, no bugs or issues and it is great for video editing and document management!

Cons

The only thing that I can say that I dislike about Microsoft PowerPoint is that sometimes I have issues with incorporating my own video or voice over into my power points, which is something that I have needed to do for an assignment for a class.

### "If you know how, you can do a lot with this gem!"

May 27, 2025

5.0

Overall fantastic tool with a lot of great options, but as it is Microsoft, it is not the most intuitive, and it is a shame, as some options are great (for example, with the movements) but not straightforward or easy to find. But if you know how, you can do a lot with this gem!

Pros

The number of options available is amazing, and the fact that most people have it is also a great thing. But it has a lot of functionality and is almost unappreciated. It is easy to use and compatible with a lot of screens, hardly ever causing problems.

Cons

Some great options are not that easy to find, and it is a shame. It is a bit old-fashioned and could be more intuitive. Also, I had some problems with fonts a few times (foreign languages).

Pros

Pros

### "No other software compares to powerpoint and it is consistently reliable"

March 9, 2026

5.0

I am 31 and have used powerpoint since I was a child. It has helped in school presentations, university and work presentations. Other software companies have created similar products but nothing compares to powerpoint. It is reliable and can be integrated with other microsoft products like Word. It is always updating and implementing new features, I will never choose anything else!

Pros

Ability to make quality presentations in very little time. The 'Design' tool helps you tidy up the photos and words on your slides into a consistent professional looking layout. It can be used with or without wifi connection. You can write notes under each slide to read during a presentation

Cons

Sometimes the formatting can be a bit confusing, like when you change something on the slide, it can move around the other diagrams, but that is more of a user issue opposed to a software issue, and once you understand how to use the formatting toolbox it's not an issue

### "A classic program with useful updates that plays well with others"

January 26, 2026

5.0

I find it to be an easy to use and versatile program. I love that when you save presentation with hyperlinks in Adobe, the hyperlinks still work, I find that to be helpful for others to navigate lengthy presentations.

Pros

I learned how to use this program when is was first released many years ago. I appreciate that it has remained user friendly, while incorporating new features. One of my favorite features is the ability to use closed captioning and have the classroom conversations appear on the screen. I also enjoy the templates and suggested design formatting. I feel the value for money is worthwhile when you consider all of the other Microsoft suite programs incorporated with Power Point.

Cons

I honestly cannot think of a con at the moment. It is great program, that is helpful and works well with other programs.

Overall my experience with Microsoft Power Point has been excellent. In my line of work I upload photos. Sometimes files have 80 photos. Microsoft PowerPoint makes it super quick and easy.

Pros

Microsoft PowerPoint is so very easy to use. Saves so much time and the photo sheet are very professional. Looks like we spent hours putting together

Cons

What I like least about Microsoft PowerPoint is that the option to save to Cloud always pops up. We prefer to save to our document folder for easy referencing.

### "Go-To Software with a Few Usability Hurdles"

December 2, 2025

5.0

Overall I think Microsoft PowerPoint is a good PowerPoint presentation design system that offers a lot of flexibility and versatility while staying budget friendly making it a good value for your money.

Pros

I appreciate Microsoft PowerPoint for its ease of use, flexibility, and wide range of design tools. Its intuitive interface makes it simple to create polished presentations quickly, while features like templates, animations, video editing, and seamless multimedia integration help users bring ideas to life. PowerPoint also stands out for its compatibility across devices and its smooth collaboration features within Microsoft 365 such as Microsoft spreadsheet, making it a dependable choice for both professional and educational settings.

Cons

I find Microsoft PowerPoint frustrating due to its occasional glitches, steep learning curve for advanced features, and the time it can take to create polished slides. Sometimes I feel that the design templates can look repetitive or outdated without extra customization. Collaboration can also be clunky at times, especially when multiple users are editing a presentation simultaneously.

### "The Easiest Presentation You've Created"

The skills I've acquired with Microsoft PowerPoint have proved to be useful in my life. I've been using PowerPoint since I was in middle school and it has taught me that a lot of good work IS about presentation.

Pros

Microsoft PowerPoint has become integral to my every-day work life and a tool for tasks I never expected to use it for. It's easy to use and can also be quite fun when you've got an eye for creativity.

Cons

I think the only thing I dislike about Microsoft PowerPoint is that the web version doesn't have some of the same features as the desktop app.

Pros

### "My first choice for creating presentations slides"

March 13, 2026

5.0

It is great and the best choice for the application it serves, and I will prefer it for the slide designer it provides.

Pros

It provides great value for the cost, and the customer support is always responsive to queries. It is very easy to use for editing and building presentations, in addition to a wide range of helpful templates. It also usefully supports working with spreadsheets and formulas, and all of this works flawlessly and bug-free.

Cons

It is not the most intuitive or fastest to work with; I have not checked for some time now, but I hope an AI agent will be fully integrated and designing will be an easier and more fun process.
