It’s great for someone like us who is not as advanced and knows more about using design software. The templates will save time but I wish there were more fashion-specific templates. It may be due for some improvements in the performance of the media-rich projects. Pros I really appreciate the ability to easily customize the templates to fit our brand's style. As a designer, it's nice to have the ability to choose colors and fonts and not get into reinventing the wheel. Great quizzes to help me out when I want to do our newest apparel designs in a neat pitch. Also liked being able to embed short videos within slides without needing additional software. Cons At times the tool is a bit tricky if you are working with bigger files, which contain several images. It has also crashed randomly at times which can be annoying during a tight deadline. I'd like more flexibility in the video editing, especially if I want to cut and arrange things, for teasers about a video for social media. I can say that, even after graduating, PowerPoint continues to be a part of my life—specifically for informational presentations displayed in the waiting area of ​​my business. Cons I currently have no complaints about the program. I might say that the licensing fee can be a bit of a hassle at times, but as a student, I was sometimes able to find programs that helped cover the membership for a full year. They are very helpful when I'm trying to just get the information in and it will do the rest to make it look nice. Cons PowerPoint can be a bit difficult to navigate, so it's not very user-friendly. If you have previous experience with PowerPoint, it is easier, but sometimes even I have difficulty. Another area is graphics and stuff like that. Pros What Inlike most about this software is that is is user friendly which allows you to create creative and fantastic visuals for presentations. I enjoy this tool because it allows all of my presentations to be organized. Especially enjoy how you can customize the slides by adjusting layouts, fonts, colors and backgrounds. I enjoy the special effects that you can add in each slides if you desire it makes the presentation more fun. Cons What I like least is that it can be too much information on the slides which can be overwhelming and take away from the main ideas of the presentation. Pros Power point its been the default option for a large part of any workforce to make presentation, however Microsoft seriously nee to consider to update powerpoint for good. Besides the software performes well on its purposes I think I does not give the easy, and flexibility to make and personalize presentation to the user. That is functionality, but you to update the looking and make it more modern would also help. My message is that there is 100% no doubt in my opinion that microsoft needs to work on improving powerpoint. Cons I think one of the most used characteristics of power point, should be the tab "animations" & "transition" and there is where I think powerpoint needs to improve. the small menu "transitions and animations" has. Is just something I never like. And when you drop the full menu, the icons of the animations are old and does not tell you anything abnout what the animation or transition is. Those images where something sutable for the 2008 software, but I believe those options for transitions and animations should include an "animation" of what do those actually do. I love that when you save presentation with hyperlinks in Adobe, the hyperlinks still work, I find that to be helpful for others to navigate lengthy presentations. Pros I learned how to use this program when is was first released many years ago. I appreciate that it has remained user friendly, while incorporating new features. One of my favorite features is the ability to use closed captioning and have the classroom conversations appear on the screen. I also enjoy the templates and suggested design formatting. I feel the value for money is worthwhile when you consider all of the other Microsoft suite programs incorporated with Power Point. Cons I honestly cannot think of a con at the moment. It's intuitive and works best with university and workplace requirements. Cons There aren't many cons to it other than your own limitations in knowledge of the software. There may be times when a user is frustrated with not knowing how to accomplish a specific task on it, but this is usually resolved through researching where the tool is within the program to achieve that task. Pros This product appeals to me because of the versatility. I have used it for worship slides, to lectures, to job presentations, even to teach how to build a nice-looking online classroom. It is easy to use and yet can do so much. Cons Sometimes, Microsoft deletes things that I find easier than their replacement. For instance, some of their layouts have changed over time. I knew in the past where to put pictures and where to put text because of the layout option. They've changed that to be two text boxes. Minor issue, because you can still use one or both boxes for pictures or text. I just like the way it worked before.
