### "Use PowerPoint. You'll love it!"

March 19, 2026

5.0

Absolutely love PowerPoint to create presentations for individual training exercises as well as creating fun teaching slides for children. This programs is user friendly all the time.

Pros

PowerPoint is an absolutely wonderful product to use. The templates are user friendly, the value is extremely affordable for the product, the video editing is simple to use but if you get stuck then their customer support is outstanding. I haven't encountered bugs or issues with the program and I haven't done spreadsheets and formulas with it either.

Cons

Placing music to different slides can be challenging but if you get stuck then you can contact customer support and they will help out anytime.

Excellent. Great experience with powerpoint. Its been my go-to for years. All of our presentations are made using powerpoint.

Pros

I used it for everything, from presentations to image editing, you can genuinly make anything using powerpoint.

Cons

I have nothing bad to say about powerpoint, one of the best bits of software going. It can be as simple or complexed as you like. If pushed some better templates would be nice.

### "Feel Empowered with Microsoft PowerPoint!"

June 9, 2026

5.0

Great! Focuses strongly on a customer's needs and supports them every step of the way in the creation process.

Pros

Microsoft PowerPoint is a program that excels and is centered around customer ease of use in creating templets and presentations for personal or professional settings.

Cons

Having a larger variety of options to customize can be more of an intimidating presence initially but is ultimately removed as a user goes and begins to use the built-in systems to help a user find what they need when they need it.

### "If you know how, you can do a lot with this gem!"

May 27, 2025

5.0

Overall fantastic tool with a lot of great options, but as it is Microsoft, it is not the most intuitive, and it is a shame, as some options are great (for example, with the movements) but not straightforward or easy to find. But if you know how, you can do a lot with this gem!

Pros

The number of options available is amazing, and the fact that most people have it is also a great thing. But it has a lot of functionality and is almost unappreciated. It is easy to use and compatible with a lot of screens, hardly ever causing problems.

Cons

Some great options are not that easy to find, and it is a shame. It is a bit old-fashioned and could be more intuitive. Also, I had some problems with fonts a few times (foreign languages).

### "Powerpoint, great tool for users who are Skilled at Presentation Delivery"

November 7, 2025

3.0

Powerpoint is a great tool when used effectively, definitely requires a skillset that needs to be taught.

Pros

Simple yet effective when you have the creativity to ensure you don't overwhelm the audience. The definitely of information can be fast and to the point when condensed for the audience. Powerpoint is not meant to wildly detailed hour upon hour presentations.

Cons

Microsoft needs a quick AI to teach users how to flow through a presentation and how to design a slide properly for the audience. Also, a giant Red X on slides that look terrible!

### "Everybody knows it, everybody uses it, but maybe it's time for a replacement..."

July 21, 2025

3.0

I have been using PowerPoint for years, and in those years it has barely changed. This makes it feel familiar, but it feels very dated and I prefer using things like Canva now for more dynamic, fresh-feeling presentations.

Pros

It's not hard to use, and feels familiar as it behaves similarly to the rest of the Office package. It is compatible with Windows machines so most people can very easily access slides. I like being able to write notes at the bottom. I also like the timer feature when I am presenting.

Cons

The program feels dated now, especially after using things like Canva to create slides. It feels cumbersome and harder to use than drag and drop, what you see is what you get type presentation software.

### "Solid Templates"

April 30, 2026

5.0

Been using it for 25 years, hasnt really changed a whole lot from inception til now. Works great for presentation and has tons of templates

Pros

Powerpoint does its job well, and it is an industry standard tool. Great for templates, easy to use, few bugs and issues, and also solid at document management. Meh value for the money

Cons

Like with any Microsoft product, it is expensive for what it is. Sometimes it bugs out and crashes. Frustrating

### "PowerPoint Review"

June 8, 2026

5.0

This is a great product and one of the most popular there is. The price is right to create professional presentations and i have not come across any bugs or issues using it.

Pros

I like how professional my presentations come out when using PowerPoint. The different features to transition between slides is great to keep things interesting. Having pre built templates keep things consistent and easy to use.

Cons

You do have to play around with PowerPoint a little before you can really create good looking presentations. There are some tricks that make life a lot easier after discovering them.

### "Microsoft Powerpoint Review"

January 24, 2026

5.0

Overall, Microsoft Powerpoint is the best application for presentations and it is not even close. I am very amazed with the options that it gives.

Pros

Microsoft Powerpoint is one of the best apps for presentations. The existing templates are very easy to use and look very good. Included with a Microsoft 365 Subscription makes it worth it.

Cons

The only qualm I have with this app is that if I were to use the Designer AI option to design a slide, I wont find that option again for another slide. I would have to duplicate the previous slide and edit it to the new one.

### "\*\*"Microsoft PowerPoint: A Classic Presentation Tool with Endless Possibilities"\*\*"

May 5, 2025

4.0

My overall experience with Microsoft PowerPoint is that it’s a \*\*reliable and versatile tool\*\* for creating presentations, whether for business, education, or personal use. It strikes a good balance between \*\*ease of use and depth of functionality\*\*—most users can create something decent quickly, while power users can go much further with design tools, animations, and data integration. However, to get the best results, users often need to \*\*go beyond the defaults\*\*, because basic templates and overused effects can lead to bland or ineffective presentations if not used thoughtfully. Collaboration tools have improved, especially with Microsoft 365, but \*\*real-time co-authoring\*\* can still lag behind competitors like Google Slides in some scenarios.

Pros

What I like most about Microsoft PowerPoint is its \*\*balance of simplicity and flexibility\*\*. It’s easy for beginners to start creating presentations quickly, but it also has powerful features—like \*\*Slide Master\*\*, \*\*animations\*\*, \*\*custom templates\*\*, and \*\*integration with multimedia\*\*—that let more advanced users build highly polished, dynamic slides. Its integration with other Microsoft 365 tools (like Excel and Word) also makes it a solid choice for professionals needing to present data or collaborate across teams.

Cons

What I like least about Microsoft PowerPoint is that it can encourage \*\*style over substance\*\*—people sometimes rely too much on flashy animations or overloaded slides instead of focusing on clear, effective communication. Also, while it's powerful, some advanced formatting or layout tweaks can feel \*\*clunky or unintuitive\*\*, especially when trying to align objects precisely or manage slide consistency without using Slide Master effectively.

### "PowerPoint - the perfect presentation tool"

May 24, 2026

5.0

It's been a key tool for several years. I use it for every presentation, and I present several times per week. I regularly watch YouTube videos to stay an advanced user.

Pros

I love great presentations and PowerPoint is my goto. I've spent many years learning its tips and there is so much it can do to WOW an audience.

Cons

It's not the software but the way it is used. Too many people use PowerPoint without understanding the difference between a presentation and a document.

### "Microsoft PowerPoint is a great application"

April 16, 2025

4.0

My experience in general for the application was good as I used to use it a lot in my work and study matters and I always turned it on only on the computer and it showed a great performance

Pros

Microsoft PowerPoint is a wonderful application, and one of the things I liked most about it is how to teach through it, as it provides the content as if it were scenes instead of boring writing, and this pushes the student or student to be attracted to the content and supplement it.

Cons

The thing I didn't like the most about it was the difficulty of using it on the mobile phone and because of that I was only using it on the computer and this is what delayed after my work sometimes.

Pros

### "MS Powerpoint is fexible, creative, and easy to use"

July 18, 2025

5.0

Overall, I enjoy MS Powerpoint because it offers a lot of tools and functionality to present. Very customizable with the transitions and animations, feels as though you're only limited by your creativity. Aside from the linear presentation format, ppt helps to get points across and supports presenting very well.

Pros

Powerpoint offers a variety of ways to make a presentation in terms of customizations with transitions, fonts, animations, embedding contents, live collaboration (only if saved to OneDrive or SharePoint). You can also download many different templates made by others online.

Cons

One disadvantage of powerpoint is that it provides a mainly linear way of presenting (slide by slide format). If there were options to make an 'interactive dashboard' to present it might make presenting a little more efficient and make it easier to expand on topics/info.

### "Good graphics fit with Office suite"

January 7, 2026

3.0

Use it a lot for both presentations and other simple graphics (eg for cards, brochures, symbols and the like

Pros

Good for producing professional presentations quite quickly. I like the flexibility of layout and text. Works well alongside MS Word and other Office apps

Cons

Graphics tools are limited; not easy to get perfect size for A4 leaflet pages; very irritating that colours keep changing if you copy a grapgh to a new page to show different figures

Alternatives considered

Reason for choosing Microsoft PowerPoint

### "My first choice for creating presentations slides"

March 13, 2026

5.0

It is great and the best choice for the application it serves, and I will prefer it for the slide designer it provides.

Pros

It provides great value for the cost, and the customer support is always responsive to queries. It is very easy to use for editing and building presentations, in addition to a wide range of helpful templates. It also usefully supports working with spreadsheets and formulas, and all of this works flawlessly and bug-free.

Cons

It is not the most intuitive or fastest to work with; I have not checked for some time now, but I hope an AI agent will be fully integrated and designing will be an easier and more fun process.

### "Good with time to invest "

February 12, 2026

Overall my experience with Microsoft Power Point it´s ok, but I need to take my time to create my presentation.

Pros

What I like about microsoft power point is that gives the opportunity to customize your presentation with animations and movement.

Cons

What I don´t like about microsoft power point is the large file that is created when you embed a file, there is not to much explanation about all the features that they have.

### "Nurse Educator Perspective"

December 16, 2025

5.0

Overall, PowerPoint has been a reliable and effective educational tool. Its compatibility with iSpring adds significant value for nurse education by supporting standardized, engaging, and trackable learning. With thoughtful design, it remains a cornerstone tool for healthcare education.

Pros

As a nurse educator, I appreciate how versatile and easy Microsoft PowerPoint is to use. It allows me to organize complex clinical and regulatory content clearly, use visuals effectively, and tailor presentations for different audiences. A major benefit is that it integrates seamlessly with iSpring, making it easy to convert presentations into interactive, trackable learning modules without rebuilding content.

Cons

Creating strong presentations can be time-consuming. Large or media-rich files can be slow to load or difficult to share across systems.

### "Great application for making professional looking presentations "

May 17, 2025

5.0

Overall, very satisfied with Microsoft Power Point. It's the default software to make presentations for pretty much everyone, and it's easy to use. I've been using it for 20 years now, and it's far better than free products from Google or Libre.

Pros

It's super easy to create professional looking presentations. Plus, Microsoft Power Point has basic chart and table creation capabilities as well. So Power Point works for all kinds of presentations from sales pitches to business review decks.

Cons

Power Point's capabilities for creating data charts is very basic and copt-pasting tables from MS Excel often leads to issues in format and font size. Also, though its graphics capabilities are great, but it's not as great as Canva.

### "Ultimate Presentation Builder"

June 8, 2026

5.0

Overall, I use Microsoft PowerPoint weekly to create slides for presentations with my team and also provide training material for users within my organization.

Pros

Microsoft PowerPoint is the ultimate product for creating presentations. I also like the ability to use Microsoft CoPilot within it to help not only create slides, but also edit and check for errors and validity.

Cons

Exporting pdfs from within Microsoft PowerPoint can be hit or miss at times. Sometimes it's seamless and other times you get format issues requiring you to recreate spreadsheets.

September 7, 2025

5.0

Visa procedure explanations were clarified with timelines mapped out, student seminars were cleaner, and counselors could easily replicate and adapt decks for various programs without having to start from scratch.

Pros

Native design recommendations and template configurations streamline student orientation slides, video embedding and transition effects captivate immigration workshops, and cloud sync allows counselors to make edits on any device during client sessions.

Cons

Template editing is restrictive to branding requirements, and sporadic sync errors interrupt workflow when several members work on the same deck together.
