### "Prosperworks is the best and simplest CRM on the market currently!"

April 10, 2018

5.0

Pros

We have gone back and forth between Prosperworks and SalesforceIQ in our company. It is a tough decision between them because both are amazing platforms that fulfill a lot of the same requirements. We finally decided to go with Prosperworks and couldn't be happier. It gives us an amazing visual platform to see all of our deals in progress and more importantly, the ability to see status of deals we already closed. We can make sure that both deals in progress and closed deals are being handled and our clients are 100% satisfied. Awesome software!

Cons

The mobile app is a little slow sometimes but I am sure the Prosperworks team is working on it. Other than that, it can be expensive for larger teams.

### "Sales team of 5-10 sales reps across two states"

February 3, 2022

3.0

Overall useful in capturing communications, but difficult to navigate multiple documents within one client.

Pros

Tracking customer communication through email including the documents involved.

Cons

Easy to duplicate clients. Can't segment multiple jobs within the same client.

### "A lifesaver for small companies!"

February 20, 2020

5.0

I highly recommend Copper to companies who are looking to spend less time organizing touchpoints and more time doing the actual work at hand. Copper makes customer tracking and communications simple and has been a pleasure to work with.

Pros

\- Couldn't be easier to implement (went live same day) - Automatically gathers contact information for quick reference and reporting - Easy-to-design email templates, scheduling, pipeline creation

Cons

\- Logging in sometimes takes a few tries - Chrome extension sometimes does not automatically login (deters use) - More clear-cut pipeline design for product adoption (could be more customizability for business needs)

Reason for choosing Copper

Copper perfectly suits the needs of a small company with its ease of use, quick implementation, and fair pricing.

Switched from

[Salesforce Sales Cloud](https://www.capterra.com/p/61368/Salesforce/)

Salesforce was a nightmare to implement in that it was much too dense for the needs of our company of 11-50 people. For a tech-savvy person, it was still difficult to pinpoint how its capabilities matched what we needed and seemed inevitable to consult (and pay a high fee) for training or a consultant. Furthermore, it was too expensive for the high involvement required just to set up the CRM.

### "They bury a nasty surprise in their EULA"

October 27, 2020

1.0

Terrible. I wish I had never signed up with them. I didn't feel the software was worth the renewal price, let alone getting charged an extra year after I'd already cancelled.

Pros

It was fine, it does integrate with Google Suite

Cons

The company buries a sentence that allows them to charge you for an entire extra year after you cancel, which they don't remind you about (obviously, why bury that clause otherwise). It's a pretty nasty way to treat departing customers, but they clearly do not care. Go with a different provider that treats their customers in better faith

Thank you for taking the time to submit a review. As a result of your feedback, and as a result of similar feedback from others, we have taken significant steps to improve as follows: 1. We hired a new VP of Customer Success, who took this problem on immediately. 2. He instituted 3 additional renewal email reminders: 90 days, 45 days, and 30 days before renewal 3. If the email reminder bounces due to account ownership changes, we assign the case to a Success Manager to track down the current owner to ensure the renewal notices are delivered 4. We adjust the renewal period not to start until we have confirmation that the account owner has been notified. 5. We rewrote our terms of service to make our policies more clear 6. We worked with support to provide clearer instructions on how to cancel an account. 7. We increased our support staff by 50% to make it easier for customers to get in touch. We wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

### "Easy to use and product continues to add features"

August 9, 2017

4.0

Tracking my activity with prospects.

Pros

I really like the way that Prosperworks integrates with Google Calendar and Google Mail. I'm able to schedule meetings on my calendar from within Prosperworks and it tracks my email correspondence with each contact and other activities as well. Easy to import contacts. Really like the ability to custom fields for the sales process and to provide tags to prospects and clients.

Cons

I would like to see more discrete data by activity type. Primarily can only get the number of times an interaction has occurred within the universe of a contact type. Would like to be able to drill down with more specifics, like the type of contact and text of notes written.

### "Pretty basic and what you would expect from a CRM"

August 16, 2020

4.0

If you are a small business or just starting out, I would go with a free CRM like hubspot. If you are looking for something with more functionality, this is probably not going to cut it.

Pros

We have multiple CRM's over the past year and have currently settled on copper. After using the likes of SalesForce and some of the larger, more sophisticated management systems, my standards are pretty high. What I do like about copper is the ease of use. It is so easy in fact that I was able to show my wife some of the functions so that she could show her boss and even though she is not very tech savvy she immediately picked it up.

Cons

Somewhat limited integrations and their email tracking function is quite poor. When reading a sent email in your out-box, copper considers this an "open" and includes this when calculating the open rate. We already use Yesware for our email cadence so opted to use their email tracking and cadences.

Reason for choosing Copper

It was recommended to us

### "Very Unsatisfied with Copper CRM"

January 25, 2020

1.0

It has not been a good experience. You're on your own and you have to figure it out yourself. There is no support and I found they could care less about their customers.

Pros

Sounded like a great idea in the beginning because it works with Google.

Cons

The customer service and billing policies are horrible. There are very few support videos, limited reports, don't even bother trying to contact support for help. They make it as inconvenient as possible.

### "Great product for sales management "

February 2, 2022

4.0

It's a great sales tracker

Pros

Ability to monitor all my leads from opportunity meeting held untill I close the deal. In addition, I can sign the contract directly from copper due to the third party integration with pandadocs

Cons

My profile doesn't seem to show extensive reports. Eg I would like to be able to measure conversion from cold email to warm lead to deal won

### "More of a lead system than a true CRM system"

April 28, 2020

3.0

Overall, I would rate a 3.5 out of 5. I believe this software is better suited to tracking leads and sales...and not as focused on helping retain current clients by keeping track of back and forth communications (especially if all communications are not email). It is easier to keep a client, than find a new one...this helps but not as much as I'd hoped. You need to be flexible and experiment with the system in order to customize to your needs. It won't do everything...but is the next step in keeping track of clients for small businesses that are growing.

Pros

I like how I can have easy access to all my clients and no longer have to turn to my filing cabinets. I also like how all my emails (and their replies) go directly into the clients electronic file.

Cons

This is very email focused. As my clientele is mostly senior there is a lot of mail....there is no easy way to track bulk mailing. I like to keep track of messages sent -- changes in plans, how Covid-19 affects their insurance...things that are across all or a majority of clients. No way to do this without entering into each file. Also very disappointed in their email template capabilities. Wanted to send Happy Birthday emails to all clients...can send them a text message but no image templates. While I am very mail/paper based, I wanted to start to increase emails....and they are very uninspiring.

Reason for choosing Copper

Choose Copper based on their demo and free trial. They came across more established with decent customer support.

### "Questioner"

August 11, 2021

4.0

I have enjoyed Copper, it's way to use, tracks everything I need it to and only wish there was an easy way to set up a visual dashboard for other company members to see or growth and potential revenues.

Pros

It allows me to manipulate things to my ease and comfort, track and follow up on sales and cold calling.

Cons

Trying to set up a dashboard. I have tried many times but it just seems to difficult to do something that would seem to be an easy process.

### "I like simplicity"

July 17, 2018

5.0

So far, after using PW for nearly 6 months now, overall, we are very happy with it as a team. It has been much easier to use than SFIQ and waaaay more affordable.

Pros

Very streamlined. No extra "features" that muddy the waters. Fast, responsive. Great customer service.

Cons

As a marketer, ProsperWorks has limited functionality when it comes to tying in the customer records with marketing campaigns, etc. I've used some integrations through Zapier to bolt some things on but to me, this introduces bloat and would love it if there were more tools natively integrated into the app. Reporting is basically useless to me and I have to manually build reports in Google Sheets and Data Studio.

### "Exceptional! I tried every major platform (plus a few minor ones) over a year and chose ProsperWorks"

May 9, 2018

5.0

Most importantly, this platform has dramatically increased our ability to effectively and easily pursue sales leads longer and better than we were able to do previously. This has translated into more sales. Sales is what it's all about.

Pros

Most platforms are either too simplistic or WAY too complicated (think SalesForce). Prosperworks is lives in the Goldilocks zone of "just right". We are a medium size company that cannot afford a full time CRM engineer, so perhaps my decision would be different under these circumstances. But I have had nothing but a great experience with using ProsperWorks. Also, it's highly intuitive and the architecture is designed such that you do not have to click through things to get to other things. From nearly any point in the platform you can create entries or access the information you need. This saves a lot of time over the course of the day.

Cons

My complaints are small and business-specific. The issues I have are unique to our business model. The good thing is that the engineers at PW have been able to create customized programming and workarounds to solve most of our problems.

### "We have had a great experience moving from Salesforce to Prosperworks."

May 1, 2018

5.0

Improved sales productivity, a lower total cost of ownership for the software, and improved reporting.

Pros

Our favorite feature is the integration to GSuite as it makes it much easier for our teams to ensure all their data is accurate and timely. We also had a great support experience with both the set-up and for any ongoing questions. Finally, the total cost of ownership for Prosperworks versus Salesforce is substantially lower.

Cons

The basic reports are fine. However, for anything more advance you have to do a data export and then manipulate the data in Google Data Studio. PWorks was very helpful with this, but I wish it was all contained in the software.

Pros

Hi David, Thanks for the feedback. We're really sorry to hear about your experience. We have a few suggested ways you can communicate with your team within Copper: 1. Our Slack integration 2. @ mentions While we don't have a live chat you can use in Copper, we have found those two options can be very helpful. We'd love to hear more of your feedback and have reached out to you directly if you're open to chatting more.

### "So far the best CRM"

August 13, 2020

5.0

Great platform to manage the leads an opportunity. Seamless experience as it integrates with gmail.

Pros

The drag and drop feature for opportunities works the best. Eg: Qualified lead to pricing sent etc. The integration with Gmail is fantastic. No need to go to the actual Copper website to create a lead or an opportunity, it can simply be done from your gmail page. The files column helps to keep all documents at one single place for review. Also, the tag functionality works for me very well in terms of a collaborative effort on a specific opportunity.

Cons

Logging the task of an opportunity even once you have marked it as done. I feel this is unnecessary

### "Get all you need to handle your sales opportunity"

March 25, 2019

4.0

I really appreciate this CRM and since I use it I experienced several improvements. Cooper was my greatest choice to handle with sales opportunity. The price maybe too high when compared with others softwares as soon? Maybe.

Pros

Still easy to use, although with the necessary improvements it is starting to get complex. But I say that they are in the right balance between increasing functionality and ease of use of the software. frequent updates make the system more complete whether it's desktop or Android application.

Cons

Help library is not sufficient to solve or explain common questions. Projects feature could be more useful in order to helping to handle won or loose opportunities. And Projects not all integrated with the rest of functions. I don't know why. AI not arrived at Cooper too.

### "Great CRM for GSuite"

March 29, 2020

5.0

Great CRM for Gsuite. Best feature - ability to manage CRM reasonably well straight out of Gmail.

Pros

Tight integration with Gmail and Gsuite. Ease of use. Ability to customize to our workflow + business needs.

Cons

Hard to say. Given our business needs (less sales driven than most), we don't use anywhere near all the functionality so areas like reporting or pipeline management \*might\* not be great for a larger enterprise...but fine for us.

Overall the experience has been good!

Pros

The thing I like most about Copper is how it integrates into the Googe Suite we use every day. It is easy to track emails and enter information from GMail for Chrome.

Cons

It does not have a robust set of features and I am more amazed at things you cannot do with the software. The reporting could use improvement.

Pros

Integration with G-Suite and more, it's always growing. Customer Support is always taking advice, they recently added capability of attachments on bulk email sends which is something we asked for a year ago.

Cons

I don't find the Leads useful. I don't have a high level view of all my accounts and the $ of each, this would be a great addition.

### "Memorialist Using Copper"

July 24, 2018

5.0

Copper has immensely streamlined the whole process of selling a memorial, going through production and taking it to the end zone.

Pros

I love how easy it is to see where you are in the production cycle using the pipelines. When a client calls and asks about job status, it is easy to get that information, bypassing going to the shop first to check. I also love all of the customization in drop downs and data entry fields.

Cons

What I am less enthused about is the inability to instantly have a custom report on a person (in our case a customer that has a deceased person attached to them) that I can print out and put into that customers file.
