The landing page interface in general was extremely flexible to allow us to easily create what we needed. Built a page with a few people and the collaborative environment was great to be able to work offline together. Particularly enjoyed using a lot of the analytics for A/B testing and heat maps to help optimize our site design. Cons A bit pricey compared to other solutions. It's an instant solution to create quick landing pages for some promotions you might be running but if you need a "real" website, you might want to try something else. Pros Just like the product says... it's an instant page creator for landing pages. It gets the job done and has some great features to offer too. The best part about it is it's ease of use for those people who need a landing page but don't know the technical side of it all. Instapage is a drag-and-drop app that basically anyone can use given they can follow step-by-step instructions. Cons The limits. If you're looking for a full on website with backups, great security, dedicated servers for fast interaction, and customization, this is not what you're looking for. It also offers a large template library to choose from if you also arent a good designer. I really like building landingpages with instapage as it is so easy and the pages look great! Cons Integrating instapage with payment processors can be a bit of a pain. That is actually the only thing I could complain about. Customizing the style of components is extremely easy and does not lack in functionality at all. Adjusting CSS styling or adding custom scripts is dead simple, making custom design solutions extremely easy to implement. If you are looking for a quick solution for creating landing pages or even full blown informational websites, Instapage is the way to go. Cons The biggest con of using Instapage is the page load speeds. Once you start building out custom web solutions that have large plugins or a vast amount of images, Instapage becomes less and less of a viable solution. With page speeds have such a massive effect on SEO and bounce rates, having a website that takes over 3 seconds to load is almost unacceptable. August 1, 2017 5.0 Pros How fast and easy I am able to duplicate/clone a landing page. All I have to do is push a button. I can create dozens in a day. Cons When I duplicate/clone a landing page, I have to input the information about the Recipients, and the Notification Style all over again. That gets very tiring. Pros The platform is pretty straight forward and easy to use. You don't need to know how to code in order to use it effectively. They have some basic templates that will do the job, but look pretty boring if you care about design. Cons I wish there was an option to export your landing page once you built it. If you stop your membership with them, then your site will disappear. So if you get started with them, prepare to be with them forever. It's so easy to create different landing page whether it's for lead generation, sales page, or RSVP (No coding skills needed). Good job! \*Tracking is good Cons Price increase a few months ago. To compensate for this, they made sure to improve their feature. They even removed the traffic cap on all tier. October 4, 2019 4.0 Smooth experience, I had to let my subscription go at some point to pursue cheaper alternatives since I used WordPress. Pros Before Instapage became a full blown Advertising Conversion Cloud, they used to be just a landing page builder tool and I liked how easy it was to work with the software. The UI is so fluid in such a way that the drag and drop builder makes making beautiful, high converting landing pages ridiculously easier. I also like the very fast and friendly support, effective tool altogether. Cons It may not necessarily be for new or small businesses as its a bit pricey. The ability to A/B test is also wonderful and again super easy. The best part is that it integrates with our Wordpress website seamlessly. Cons Pricing is a bit nebulous. When upgrading to have more landing pages that were needed, there was no clear pricing and having to talk to sales is a pain that could have been prevented by having clear pricing on the website. Global blocks function in particular is very helpful. Cons Customer support. We had an issue where Instapage did not send our leads to our nominated email address for about 1 month. They said it was nothing on their end and blamed our email host. In the end, they discovered that it was an error with their suppression list from their microservice, causing those emails to never get sent. They offered no compensation, barely admitted it was an error and even refused to send the leads in bulk form to us - they made us download them one at a time... This is just one of the many issues we have had with the product where the leads have not been sent to us. They deny responsibility, blaming anything else, before doing proper investigations. They make it extremely easy to build and launch a landing page for nearly any product or service. The new Facebook Ads integration is very slick. There are a number of these services out there and Instapage is at the top of the list. Cons The editing flow is slightly clunky. As marketers we have to produce results and this tool was the best decision we made. Pros The drag and drop to move blocks from top to bottom. The organization to setup landing pages by folders. Cons When we were trying to setup the contact form in 2 columns there was not information about it. We contact customer service and they help us. The style we add it we couldn't see it on the edit mode. Just on the live mode andd it was kind of annoying go back and forth to check it was centered. June 16, 2017 5.0 Pros I absolutely love the functionality of this software. It couldn't be easier to design really great-looking, responsive landing pages. The fact that I can edit and preview both the desktop and the mobile version is a life saver. It saves me a ton of time when it comes to design. I can also quickly add metadata and scripts to headers and footers, which is important because I have to track lots of different metrics in my job! I'm so grateful to have found Instapage! Cons I would have rated Support and Functionality at a 4.5 if I could. I integrate Instapage with Marketo for my marketing automation, and the integration isn't quite as convenient as I would like (but still works just fine!). As far as support, I just wished that chat, phone calls, and email were available to any price tier. We were in exactly the same situation until we found Instapage. This is an awesome apps to design powerful landing pages without spending a lots of money or wasting precious time. Once your page is live, changes and updates can be easily implemented (again without involving any 3rd party). We simply love it! As a non-technical team member I need to be able to create, ab test, and publish the landing pages without requesting engineering support. The aesthetic of the landing pages has to reflect the high-quality bar our team has set. So, I signed up, experimented with the editor and found it very easy. I tried to create an ab test and had it working on the first shot. After 60 minutes I had something I was proud and decided to publish. At that point I was prompted to upgrade to use a custom domain name, the pricing was right and I became a paying customer. If you're non-techincal and want to quickly create legit landing pages that convert traffic to leads, Instapage does a great job. Pros Ease of use, compelling path to upgrade, relevant and quality templates, simple ab testing, encouraged seo best practices Cons I could have used help driving traffic to the page.
