I needed a site that just worked, had templates with great designs & was just plug n play. I found Instapage. I have to say it is awesome. I found a template i wanted and started to make the changes I wanted. The site was very intuitive, it integrated easily with Mailchimp. Within an hour, I had a really cool, fully functional lead page to capture email addresses for my new service. I had a few questions, I emailed in and had prompt replies from customer care. The site loads fast, has the ability to do split testing, add video, images, and all sorts of other things. But the most important thing to me is that it looks 100% professional, like a website designer has developed it. I would happily recommend it to others. great product and great service... So you find this software and get all excited, do your work, in this case, landing pages. It works with blocks, which are pre-defined sections you can easily customize with dragging and dropping copy and creative. Cons Instapage is perfect for standalone landing pages you'd build for specific audiences, marketing experiments or PPC campaigns because those contexts tend to not require you to really dive deep: it doesn't have to be perfect, it has to be good enough. Unbounce, for example, offers more possibilities in terms of customization, and more resembles a real website builder. I also think Instapage is relatively expensive, though I also have to say the team has been adding more and more value (templates, blocks) while maintaining the same price point. There seems to be a lack of communication within your support team. Had people giving me a copy paste of a solution that someone else had sent to a different problem, had to send tons of screenshots of the same as well as the same information over and over again because the people I had been talking to seem to have forgotten about the issue. It has been really a terrible experience! I don't know how to exactly describe it. But if we put aside this terrible experience, I really like Instapage... They have a ton of integrations and it's a really smooth workflow. We tested multiple vendors and Instapage won by a longshot. Cons The one downside is that most of the self-serve plans cap you at 50 live pages. For a small company or startup that's not a problem, but if you need lots of pages you'll have to pay more. I still will. This service is insane. Finally, I am able to do real testing, in a sexy way. I have used your templates to create customer journeys, test messaging, better identify my customer's needs. And, it's easy...even for a technophobe like me. I love Instapage! I'll shout it from the rooftops. I don't care. Okay, maybe a cloyingly sweet review. But, deservedly so...look at the metrics. I use Google Analytics and HubSpot and was able to see a 12-15% conversion rate over the last 12 months. With Instapage I have been averaging a 40-65% conversion rate and on one of my sites, I have seen that conversion rate in the mid-90's. What? What the what?! Ya heard. Testing, changing, surveys, journeys...it's all been a snap and it looks extra pro say my customers. It's like strapping my sites to a rocket ship and launching them into outer space. Success! Pros The software itself was ok, I used it to create landing pages for lead capture. the ease of use was reasonable, and it didn't take long to figure out how to build a decent landing page for lead capture Cons My biggest problem with this software is the customer service and billing practices. I paid for 12 months upfront, ended up using if for only 6 months, by after 12 months they billed my credit card for another year at nearly double the rate.
