Recently I decided to try out the top 12 landing page services available. Some were terrible, some were better, and others were great. I tried Instapage, leadpages, clickfunnels, Pagewiz, Lender, Formstack, KickOffLabs, and several others. I choose instapage because it is SO USER FRIENDLY. This is a powerful system that SAVES ME SO MUCH time. The others can be used to design the same page... but with instapage, I can do it so much faster. I love it. Thanks so much Instapage for creating a create software and service!!! Pros Everything is customizable. I can create any page I want, without any design limitations. You can edit the appearance for mobile devices within seconds. Everything is simple and fast. Cons The width of the page is fixed and cannot be changed. The background can go full screen, but nothing else. All the form elements are grouped together and cannot be ungrouped, and modified individually. This is only a problem for complex forms. Pros The software is very easy to use, even for users with little to no previous design experience. There are a wide variety of pre-designed templates that you can use as a starting point, and editing pages is very simple and painless compared to other similar tools. The pricing is very fair and the flexibility and ease of use is better than almost all other similar tools I've worked with before. The company is very active in responding to users, and is quick to help customers and fix any bugs that are found. Cons Some of the newer features were a bit glitchy, although most of the issues that I had experienced were from features that were still in beta testing. It was super easy to use, and connecting it to my wordpress site took maybe two minutes. I wish I had used this software sooner. Cons There is no built-in functionality to navigate to other pages that you make on instapage, like a menu, or nav bar. When I called customer support, they said it was intentional: the point of Instapage is to create landing pages for ads, and you don't want visitors leaving that page to go elsewhere. Cons What is a pro - the editor - can also be a con, if you're not at least passingly familiar with what a landing page is, its purpose, and what successful elements of one should be. Pros Instapage gave my product more visibility and made my product easy accessible to my customers, the content publisher is my go to tool it makes content creating much easier, although you might have trouble navigating it at first but you get use to it . You can create landing pages quickly and you can integrate with other platforms, such as email providers, webinar hosts and more. Cons The Instapage team got greedy and pulled one of the worst stunts I've ever seen. They increased the price of all of their plans and forced existing members to upgrade. I had been using Instapage for over 2 years and had about 30-40 landing pages with them and they DOUBLED the price on me. The options were - lose all of your work or cough up the money. This is a huge red flag. I want to trust the companies I work with, and 90% of companies I work with grandfather rates. Pros I make a great deal of use of landing pages as a part of various lead generation campaigns and while I have tried others - and have created lead pages from scratch in WordPress and MailChimp nothing beats Instapage The design options are so diverse, the UI so very well laid out and the customer service so good that things just go right every time, which is exactly what I'm looking for. It forces you into a fixed template that cannot be changed in any way. You know what Instapage does? It lets you create \*any\* type of page you want. You can make it as ugly or beautiful as you want. The A/B testing is excellent and the Heatmaps give you deep insight into your visitors actual movements on the page. Those cost a lot of $$ at other providers, btw. Cons A bit limited with assets, templates, icons but they're adding more as time goes on. And of course, the high monthly price will always be a con, but the ROI is definitely there. May 14, 2018 5.0 Pros Of all the landing page websites I have used (which is a lot), Instapage has by far one of the most quality looking landing page finished products - with little necessary skill from the creator. It is easy to use and figure out as well and they have been coming out with new features left and right over the past year or two. Cons It got a bit expensive for my small business unfortunately. I think I started using it when it first came out and they have really upped their prices since then so I do not use it anymore due to our limited budget and other more "budget friendly" options exist. The UI is extremely easy, and the templates are well-designed. I am not a master of HTML and CSS, but I am decent at designing. Instapage enables me to build a good-feeling website without any technical expertise. I get a lot of compliments on the websites I build with Instapage. Pros Base templates are great. Drag and drop is super easy. Has everything you need for a landing page and is flexible to add in other features/integrations such as an HTML TripAdvisor form or GA. Customer support is instant and helpful. Cons Encountered one minor issue, the builder page to saved page differed and took some finagling.
