They have a basic version which is free, so that's really useful for smaller companies. Cons There aren't really any major cons with Pure Chat. Both of these seem to work for our agents sometimes and then not others. Apart from little bugs and glitches it works ok. Though it does change design and theme rather a lot. So the whole chat is shut down and we can not use it for a couple of minutes (sometimes it's more dan 30 minutes!). So that's something where you can look at maybe. But with LiveChat, I usually have dozens of customer chat sessions every week - far more interaction than I get thru other contact channels. My only complaint is that they can leave feedback only in positive and negative and some people have mentioned accidentally selected the wrong option. So far, it has worked flawlessly, and having alerts on my desktop is a very helpful feature. I have not used customer support, so I cannot honestly review it, but I'm sure that it is satisfactory. Pros Easy to install on your website. We thought that if we put this on our website that we would be using it mostly for support issues but we were pleasantly surprised to see that we captured new business from it!
