Pure Chat consistently delivers a quality product which solves all of our customer service needs. The customer service is impeccable and they are constantly adding new features and upgrading existing ones. Highly, highly recommended.

Pros

Ease of use, available features.

Cons

Limit of locations. Currently, only five separate locations are available. We are expanding rapidly and would like to have each location manage their own inbound chats. Hopefully support for even MORE locations will come soon!

I like the sharing of chats in real time in this application. Its working criteria is very easy and easily accessible.

Pros

I like the frontend of this software very much. It is very eye-catching and gives easy access to options as well.The settings facility is also vey convenient.

Cons

In my opinion, there is nothing to be disliked about this application. It runs vey effectively and sends chat messages in real time.

Pros

First, it's Free. Second, it's Free and actually works well! The interface is easy to grasp, and has been a clean simple communication channel. On the free version, you are still able to customize easily.

Cons

I imagine that because I am using the free version, I do not get the tracking I would like. Example) If I am not paying attention to the chat, I will miss it because I do not receive any notifications.

Pros

The implementation of Pure Chat was extremely easy ,so is navigating it . You can set up both public and private template messages . You do not need to store anything locally as it's being done on the cloud .

Cons

It was hard to setup for chat logs to be attached to our CRM , I don't if that's an issue with Pure Chat or on our end .

I have had nothing but wonderful feedback on the Pure Chat features. If there were anything I could change it would be this: After chatting with someone and giving them the information they need - if I close out the chat before they have all the information copied down at their end - they lose it. They come back on and say the chat closed - could they have the info again. Other than that - it's been wonderful - fast program.

Pros

Quick - no lagging in responses back and forth.

Cons

I've had a few customers say they hit the "Frown" face by error - giving me a negative and even when I touch base with them and confirm that they were happy about the experience I can't change that negative off my report.

We love the ability to chat with our customers and the ease of use setting this up and getting rolling has been phenomenal. We also fee like it's very affordable. What we have NOT been as thrilled with is the way the system functions. At times, i will get an email for a missed chat - other times i won't. It will kick off other administrators without notice. It will ignore our time settings randomly. We like the option to Live Chat - we just aren't 100 percent thrilled with how it functions.....could possibly be an issue on our end....but have not gotten much response from customer service.

Pros

The ability to communicate with our customers who have questions in such an immediate way.

Cons

Unreliable software/doesn't always function the way I'd like it to.

Easy-to-use website chat features. Would classify this as more of a widget than a full blown software.

Pros

It is incredibly easy for team members to take control over website chat features, and the notifications on mobile are very easy to understand and reliable.

Cons

Sometimes there were glitches in the system where two chat boxes would appear for the same chat, or sometimes chats would disappear all on their own.

Coming into a role where PureChat was already being used, I can honestly say that I can't think of a better way to reach our online customer base. With their Visitors pane to show a real-time display of our web traffic, we can see where our inquiries are coming from and target their needs specifically without having to ask. The Proactive Chat function is great because is gives us the opportunity to engage our potential customers and meet them where they are, letting us show just how much we care about their well-being. PureChat is a great service, and I plan to use for a long time!

Pros

Basically everything.

Cons

The phantom availability of users who are not logged out.

As time passes more and more web visitors insist on instant chat, as opposed to emails and phoning us. They are impulsive, and so we have to adapt. This method works well, is easy to use, customizable to our needs and just does what it is supposed to. We are also able to do fine with the free version - so nothing to complain about!

Pros

It is simple and functional, popular with our web viewers, and now the free options make it just wonderful!

Cons

No complaints. All errors have been due to my own faults.

It's great if you have a small team of operators (up to 3). I think the paid mode is only justifiable if you have more than 8 operators.

Pros

The unlimited chats for the free mode are great! As a startup member, we found this tool really useful since the free version allows you to have up to 3 operators.

Cons

The paid version is kind of expensive for us. Maybe if there was an intermedium plan we could afford it.

Work within this product on a daily basis. Extremely user friendly with valuable information provided with the locator and where they are currently on your website. The ability to insert canned responses is also a convenient tool. Overall I feel that this platform is a great tool in connecting with customers both current and future.

The ease of use with which I can communicate with both current and potential customers. Extremely effective tool.

Honestly do not have any cons for this platform right now.

Our company implemented the PureChat system after leaving another similar service for cost reasons. PureChat did everything we needed it to, and at the most reasonable price we found on the market. Have yet to experience any downtime with the service. Overall, very happy with our decision to switch over.

Ease of use, little to no downtime, extraordinarily simple yet powerful layout.

Cons

Very simple to use on the customer end

We have tons of customer feedback on our easy to use Live chat feature. As the rep who uses it, I like that my responses are customized and when I'm unavailable my team gets an email. The software is fast and clean- very easy to use.

I dislike that my slow internet connection sometimes makes Pure Chat fail and I lose a chat mid-customer

We use this software to maximize website traffic. Instead of people having to email us during peak hours, we can now chat in real time!

Pros

The overall idea of the software is awesome. The chat system works well. The AI bot system works well too. App on iPhone and iPad work great! PC dashboard is easy to use and clean.

Cons

At the time of writing, I have not encountered any cons.

The ease of use for this program is so great. We've been looking for alternatives to Slack in our office, and we landed on Pure Chat.

Like most programs, there is a small learning curve when using something that is new. After that though, it's rather smooth sailing.

This chat platform is fantastic because they have a TON of features and can be integrated directly into your website. There is a free option as well as paid versions. On the paid version you can remove their branding for a fully branded tool for your company.

I have been using PureChat for about 6 months now and have really appreciated how easy it makes it to connect with customers. It cuts down on calls to the office and makes for quick, simple, and personal conversations.

Pros

Makes it easier to have simple conversations over chat and get them done quicker. Eliminates calls to the office and lightens up inbox. Has a contacts system. Has information on where someone is contacting you from.

Cons

Wish there was a way to send documents/files/pictures to people via the chat system.

We've used Pure Chat on our website to interact with our website viewers better. The pricing is straightforward as well.

Pros

The ability for website visitors to talk to you no matter where they are is a great value-add for any business.

Cons

No translation tool, and the mobile app can be buggy at times. I also believe the mobile app needs to be open all the time to be seen as logged in.

PureChat is an easy service to use for our customers to connect with us. We are able to quickly respond to their questions, especially with canned responses. On the phone software, the software needs to be changed for Android users. The chat box will pop up over the website. Several customers hit the chat button and all they want to do is check out, and "this chat box keeps coming up." Might be something to look at. Seems to be fine for iPhone users.

Easy, quick, canned responses.

Cons

New version not working with current version of Safari.

Pros

I found Pure Chat to be super easy to implement and to use. It does exactly what I need a live chat to do -- that is, provide a simple and fast way for customers to ask questions and receive answers about our products. With the straightforward Zapier integration, we were able to automate the creation of new contacts in our CRM software any time a person contacts us via Pure Chat. The front-end chat interface and back-end dashboard are well designed, simple and uncluttered. When I encountered a technical issue, the Pure Chat team worked quickly to identify and resolve the matter. Great features for the free version.

Cons

The price of the Pro version is pretty high for a very small business (only two members). However, for businesses with several employees handling customer service, I think the price is very fair given the additional features. I would like to see some additional themes or customization options for the chat windows. Fortunately, the default interface is clean and attractive, so it looks good with our website.
