The mobile access was especially convenient for checking alerts and system status. Remote access and patch management also helped make routine IT maintenance more efficient. Cons There was some learning involved during the initial setup, particularly when configuring policies, alerts, and patch management. Every time i called for support, they directed me to the sales guy who tried to sell me something instead of helping me. Pros It was a basic RMM Tool that was supposed to be reasonably priced for the tool you were purchasing. Turns out that was not the case Read the CONS Cons The constant pressure their sales people used to try and get you to buy add on's. They sold me on this third party EMAIL Monitoring tool that was supposed to easily bring revenue in. After agreeing to a basic test, It cost me $2000.00 USD and months of headaches to get out of some weird contract they supposedly had me sign. I ended up talking to one of the senior managers who was an absolute idiot. Treating me like I am some sub human for wanting to get out of a product they sold but I could not use. I have been in IT for 30+ Years. Have never been subjected to clowns quite like that.!!! Whether I am in the office on my laptop, or on the road with my mobile phone, I know Pulseway will keep me informed of any serious errors and alerts. I can diagnose problems on the fly with Pulseway, I can remedy problems using Pulseway, and I have a number of Automations setup with help with my daily tasks. I'm so pleased with Pulseway, I have begun overhauling my software stack to include additional products from the Pulseway family (eg I've migrated from Veeam/Backup Exec to Unitrends Appliances. I've migrated from Sophos, to Datto EDR/AV. I've rolled out Bullphish for our staff. etc). Having a single single vendor with a large ecosystem of very solid products is great. The team at Pulseway has been quick and helpful if we do experience an issue. I feel the Pulseway team understands the importance their role plays in the daily success. Pros We currently use PSA, RMM, and IT Glue through Pulseway. The most helpful feature is that all three applications integrate into each other, Azure and on-prem Active Directory. These products are easy to use and navigate once everything has been set up. We use all three of these systems daily, and the RMM mobile application helps us keep tabs on the systems when we are not in the office. The few times we've had to reach out to support, we received fast and helpful responses and solutions usually within a day. Cons It's tough to identify a downside of Pulseway. If I had to be picky, it would be that we cannot do everything in the mobile application that we can do with the web version of RMM. September 8, 2025 1.0 Pros I can honestly say I can not think of a single pro on this company. Pulseway has been one of the most frustrating vendors we’ve ever worked with. We originally used Pulseway RMM, but it was so unreliable that we moved to Datto RMM. We also switched from Pulseway PSA to Autotask, which is outdated but still worked better. Every time we tried to trade services, Pulseway only allowed it if it meant a higher monthly cost for us. There’s no real flexibility—it feels like the only “partnership” they offer is when it brings them more money. Even after you sign a contract, you constantly have to chase them to activate the services you’re paying for, and it takes days to get a response. The pattern is clear: once Pulseway gets your signature, customer care drops off. They don’t care about supporting you; they care about upselling you. We’re locked in until 2027, but after that we’re done. If you’re considering Pulseway, save yourself the headache. Pros I cannot always be at every site where our servers and workstations are but Pulseway lets me monitor and manage systems remotely while I am far away. The mobile app is a real lifesaver, I can check alerts or even reboot the system and push updates when I am out of the office. Automation rules take over a lot of the repetitive maintenance so I can stop firefighting. Cons The web dashboard feels a little dated and slower when compared to others I’ve used. I’m not as intuitive with setting up custom automation scripts, I often have to dedicate several attempts to get it right. The reporting could be relatively more flexible, I’ve always wanted to build reports centered around certain clients or system groups. Pros Pulseway is truly a fantastic Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) product, and I strongly believe it stands at the top of its class. One of its greatest strengths is the constant development and improvement. The rate at which they are introducing new features and enhancing the product is impressive—comparing the Pulseway of this year to last year is like comparing night and day. Another standout feature is their patch management automation. In an era where Cyber Essentials certification is crucial for many businesses, Pulseway offers the strongest patch management system in the market. The automation capabilities streamline updates and reduce manual intervention, making it a vital tool for keeping systems secure and compliant. Their openness to community feedback is refreshing. You can request features, and the developers genuinely listen to user suggestions!! This level of responsiveness shows that they value their customers and are committed to improving based on real-world use cases. A must in my opinion. Cons While Pulseway excels in many areas, the one significant drawback is the remote control experience. Having switched from Splashtop, I’ve found it quite challenging to adjust, as Splashtop offers a superior user experience in terms of stability and usability. One specific issue is with multi-screen support. Pulseway’s current implementation of multiple monitor support is subpar, forcing all remote monitors into a single screen. This setup is awkward and hampers productivity. It would be far more practical if they allowed each monitor to open as a separate window, similar to how Splashtop handles it. The ability to remote into multiple devices and full screen each one across different monitors is also something I miss dearly. Currently, Pulseway only allows full screening of one remote session on the default monitor, which feels quite limiting. Addressing these issues would significantly improve the remote control experience. The product continually evolves, and the new features are always relevant. The pricing is reasonable, making it affordable for small and medium-sized businesses like ours while still providing great value. Keep up the excellent work, team! Pros Managing servers and desktops remotely allows me to deliver an excellent end-user experience from our IT team. The Windows and third-party patching module has significantly minimized the time I spend keeping servers and desktops updated, all while maintaining oversight of the deployments. Pros As the numbers of servers, and their locations that I manage has grown, Pulseway has fitted in nicely to make this easier and simpler, instead of managing multiple VPNs, having to be sat in front of a computer, or open firewall ports for access, Pulseway puts control of all of them in the same place, with easy access. I've always used it mobile first, from alerting me to problems, or letting me manage servers anywhere I am, from problem solving (it's running slow) to out of hours updates or issue spotting (offline), the mobile access makes it much less intrusive. Cons The web portal makes up for most/any of the shortcomings of the mobile app (eg. the smaller screen size), so improvements on this have been a big bonus. If there were one downside it would be support, they're friendly and fast, but I've always felt they blame me first, rather than look inward. Review Source HB Helen B. Automated scripts support distributing custom software components to any of our 10 robotic data collection systems. I can keep all systems consistent while supporting many different study protocols and ever evolving experimental specifications. As a data manager I am able to inspect and retrieve data sets without leaving my desk. Pulseway is an awesome tool as it has enabled me to fill two roles and still work from home half time. Its features have significantly simplified my remote work. Pros You can connect to multiple users at the same time, and the speed has improved. Cons I find it frustrating that when I switch users on the software, I have to disconnect and reconnect to log in. If this could be streamlined, I'd be much happier with the product. It would be greate if it switch users on a client PC without having to disconnect and reconnect, this would make it much more convenient.
