### "Very Difficult to Deal with from Australia"

Initial was ok but the time difference meant I could only communicate at 5am or earlier and their ticket support system would not provide the right links to questions I was asking. If you are in Australia I would recommend searching for a company within Australia that provides the same if not better services than CallRail.

The functions and ability of the system

Cons

The lack of assistance in completing tasks after the initial set up of the first project. Due to time difference dealt with via support tickets and wrong links were sent and if I need to talk to someone I could only talk at 5am or earlier to suit them.

Pros

Easy setup, clear instructions, and easy to navigate. Dynamic insertion is a must! Easy to disable or permanently remove accounts that cancel service.

Cons

Charges per phone number. If there were different package levels, it would be more beneficial to smaller businesses. Also, have experienced call tracking disconnect with Google Analytics, which directly effects data. Support never really fixed the issue, so we had to disable the call tracking for that account.

Pros

Call Rail does a great job helping us track calls for our SEO clients. We are happy with the results that we see in our reports. We also like that one simple script added to our sites let us track phone calls and form fills.

Cons

There is a bit of a learning curve that requires the help of their support team. However, the support team is always eager to assist and very friendly.

Pros

I used this product for several months and didn't find the value.

Cons

Difficult to understand and gain value from.No training and difficult to instal and I might add take off your system. Their Tech support do not return calls and due to this I was unable to cancel my account on time by one day and they charged me a whole month because of this. After issuing a complaint they were not interested in refunding or even discussing. I would not recommend this company to companies that do not have a full suite of tech and web advisors onboard.

It was pretty simple to use, and to set up new clients.

Cons

We received a lot of spam calls, and calls for other businesses that had just used the number. The numbers needed to be help longer before going back into use.

I liked the number of features. The sales page was nice.

Cons

Super complicated to set up. Doesn't integrate into Podio like smrtPhone.io does. Calls were randomly dropped.

Pros

This product is great. I have used it for some of my clients. Its very user-friendly but what I like the most is that it connects to social media and integrates with other things. That way we can get multiple use of the software for tracking purpose.

Cons

There isnt anything I dont like about the software. It is a bit pricey compared to others but overall great service!

Pros

Being able to track phone calls from different verticals is a huge analytical advantage you can add to your marketing efforts. CallRail makes it simple to see which users are converting via phone calls and which channels are converting. You can record calls and set up whisper messages to make sure that you're compliant too which is very convenient.

Cons

The reporting isn't always the easiest to understand, setting up numbers is pretty easy, but making heads or tails from the different channels can be difficult if you don't set everything else up correctly.

Pros

\-Integrations work excellent, especially with our CRM -More effective than competitors -Customization w/ multiple phone numbers works very well for us -Simple setup -Excellent for agency-type setting and managing multiple accounts w/ unique access privileges

Cons

Not much to report as far as downsides. Maybe lacking a little bit in the visual department, but it's not a big deal. All of the features can make it a little overwhelming to a new user, but that's sort of expected since you can do so much with this software.

Callrail has provided an inexpensive option to monitor and record calls and leads for our clients. Its easy to use and easy to integrate into our systems.

Pros

CallRail's UI is intuitive and easy to navigate. The software makes as much information as possible available to us as advertisers. The API is also easy to work with and integrate into our reporting systems. Support staff at call rail is always responsive and quick!

Cons

Sometimes, callrail will stop tracking numbers, we've had to contact support multiple times to reenable the tracking.

I personally prefer Call Tracking Metrics but if you're looking for a system to track calls then CallRaill will get the job done.

Pros

A lot of my clients like to use CallRail so it's a system I've gotten used to. People seem to be more comfortable in the platform compared to Call Tracking Metrics (not really sure why) but it'll get the job done.

Cons

The breakdown of the data in the dashboard can be overwhelming and a lot of it is irrelevant. Sometimes I just want a list of calls and times, not all the graphs and random pieces of data.

Perfect solution for tracking phone calls associated with marketing campaigns - helps to show ROI on our team's efforts. Helps to separate other incoming calls that would be made to our company otherwise.

Pros

When we were running PPC campaigns, we implemented CallRail to track and record calls associated with the campaign. It is excellent for capturing calls related to the specific campaign so we can evaluate its effectiveness and quality of leads it sent our way.

Cons

The price was expensive, but it was expected given the level of service and features offered at the level we purchased.

### "20 minutes + on hold for tech support and they hang up saying too many calls"

Pros

Good software in general easy to use when everything is working properly

Cons

Very very poor customer service with HUGE wait times to speak to tech department and many times the line after waiting 20 minutes + will say that they are experiencing huge amount of calls and to submit a ticket on the site and then the line just cuts!!! This is not acceptable after waiting that long !

CallRail just adds another tool for me to show my clients the effectiveness of our marketing efforts. My clients love it which is what is important. I will continue to use CallRail for all my marketing campaigns.

Pros

If you have any experience using digital software this tool is very easy to setup. It integrates with pretty much everything so you can track all your online marketing channels. I am sure it works for offline marketing as well but I don't use it for that.

Cons

I don't have much I don't like about CallRail but since you need something, I will go with price. It is not outrages by any means but as a small Digital Marketing agency cost is always something we need to look at.

Pros

A good call routing solution for a small company - has all the features of a complex system (call routing options, text to speech script capabilities, round robin calling, voicemail settings, etc.) and an easy to use interface for setting them up.

Cons

We did run into some issues with the timing of the calls - how long the lines would ring before going to voicemail. The phones would ring for shorter than the settings were set to. We worked with their support, and it appears it might have had something to do with our use of Google Voice for our agents' phone lines, but it was unclear.

Pros

With this software, you can finally find out what ads are driving the most calls. The integration is relatively simple and it is a great way to optimize your ads for calls, instead of for form-fills.

Cons

The integration can be difficult and definitely requires the assistance of your development team. I wish there was a way to do this easier.

Overall, great company. We are new users and have a lot to learn, however, their customer service is second to none so we know that we will be expert users in no time!

Pros

I like that we receive updates weekly that provide us with information regarding our website/call traffic.

Cons

I find that our inner office call tracking and Call Rail's call tracking numbers are always off by one or two each week.

Overall a good software and definitely useful.

Pros

Useful due to being able to track flow of calls. Setting up call attribution with multiple channels and analytics are all fluid and easy to use.

Cons

Haven't heard much from others but sometimes the software wasn't very reliable and we had lots of problems for a short stint. In their defense, it was cleared up.

Pros

Callrail makes advertising and tracking different channels easy. We assign each campaign a different number, and Callrail's dashboard tracking make KPIs easy to see. All incoming calls are recorded so quality control can be performed. As long as outgoing calls are made through the system, and the agent checks the record box, you can also list to outgoing calls. Our Callrail is connected with our database, so we can see the call log and recordings within our CRM.

Cons

Not ideal for mass outbound calling. We use Mojo Sells dialer for high volume cold calling.

It is great to know where our leads are being generated from!

Pros

Easy to set up! Also there is a nice clear recording when monitoring the calls that are coming in through our site. I like that it shows the date and number so we can easily track everything.

Cons

Things can get a bit tricky when you add a bunch of clients. It seems it is better suited for monitoring just a few.
