We were an early adapter to electronic records, 20 years ago. After a long search and many demos, ChartLogic won us over with not only their product, but their customer service, ease of use, and continual improvements.

Pros

Having an EMR which was tailored to our specialty was the key to our choosing ChartLogic. With them providing an easy to use product designed for pediatrics, it was the obvious choice.

Cons

The cost of course. But they are all expensive, so we chose one which will give us the most bang for our buck for our specialty.

Overall I approve I did feel the product is worth the money and I will continue to look for new products.

Pros

I liked the overall layout the best. It was easy to navigate. It was also easy to implement for new employees.

Cons

I liked least the graphics I guess. They were not bold enough and this did affect usage for employees.

ChartLogic EHR shines in small to medium clinical settings where customizable documentation, quick charting, and integrated workflows are essential. That said, its outdated interface, performance lags, and support limitations mean it may not be the best choice for practices needing modern usability, mobile flexibility, or strong third-party integration.

Pros

Intuitive and logical interface; familiar to users of word-processing tools Highly customizable templates and notes streamline documentation Fast charting aided by voice dictation and macros Comprehensive suite combining EHR, practice management, and patient portal into one workflow

Cons

Lacks support for mobile devices and apps—poor for workflows outside the office Interface feels dated and updates to the scheduler are not always user-friendly Performance issues like slow page loading can disrupt operations Customer support and billing services can be unreliable, with unresolved tickets and delays Limited scalability, specialty-specific workflows, and interoperability with other systems

It gets the job done, especially once you’re used to it. Not perfect, but reliable for most day-to-day tasks. Would recommend for smaller practices that need solid documentation tools without too much fluff.

Pros

I’ve used ChartLogic EHR for a few months now, and while it has some solid features, it’s a bit of a mixed bag. The voice dictation is probably the standout; it's fast and accurate, which helps with documentation. The interface is clean, but not always intuitive, so there's a bit of a learning curve at first.

Cons

Steep learning curve for new users Some navigation feels outdated Occasional lag during busy hours, the Workflow can feel clunky and inconsistent Limited training materials and support for responsiveness Occasional bugs or freezing during high-traffic times

ChartLogic EHR is a strong choice for surgical specialties especially for the surgeon that I used to bill for. It is a great choice for solo to mid-sized practices due to its powerful voice dictation, customizable templates, and ease of charting. The Command Mode feature stands out for enabling rapid, voice-driven documentation. The streamlined interface and integrated suite are very nicely done. However mobile access, interoperability, and UI modernization need improvement.

Pros

Customizable Templates, Allow for significant customization of templates to suit provider and specialty workflows. Integrated System: Seamlessly connects EHR, practice management, and patient portal into one suite. No need to log in and out of different softwares Ease of Use: Simple interface and intuitive navigation, reducing learning curve for providers and staff. Quick Charting: Fast note creation using macros and dictation, improving chart completion time.

Cons

Limited Mobile Access: The EHR Lacks of a robust mobile app; staff previously reported difficulty accessing key features on mobile devices. User Interface (UI) Appearance: While functional, the interface can feel outdated compared to newer platforms especially when compared to EPIC Template Flexibility: Although customizable, the customization process complex or not intuitive.
