I have been using it for 5 years and very happy. A group of 7 venues with excellent results across all.

Pros

Very user-friendly, great support. All documents are customizable and can contain your won branding. Strong CRM management and good reporting.

Cons

reconciling payments with a third party can be challenging.

Ivvy has been reliable system since we started using it. It has made all departments work more efficiently and given us the tools to easily find the right data to drive our business further.

Pros

As a sales tool, the system creates proposals and easy to use templates that makes responding to a high number of enquiries speedy. Reporting is also clear and quick to use.

Cons

It doesn't currently include a forecasting tool for sales that could calculate speculative.

I'm still learning the program, we are arranging for a training course which will be very helpful. Trying to contact support between 12PM - 5PM Mon - Fri is very difficult which is in between work hours, otherwise anytime after 6 PM there is no issues calling support other than it's in my own time. Also, I've left multiple messages for someone from support to call me back and I don't receive any call back.

Pros

The quick response in resolving my issue.

Cons

The length of time it takes trying to contact support or having someone from support contact me back.

Good, quick support is offered. It is great if you are away and a new team member needs support....

Pros

I have used IVvy for many years now (from companies that just had the one venue, 7 venues, and a hospitality group that had multiple venues around the world). I was lucky enough to roll out IVvy for TFE Hotels in Germany many years ago and have always found the system very easy for staff to pick up quickly. This is key for the hospitality and events industry that can be transient at times (or when we need extra staff to support over peak periods, whether it be Weddings or Christmas Party season, for example). I use IVvy every day to manage events from tracking initial enquiries, creating proposals, contracts, invoices, event orders and reporting. The support team is always quick at responding and resolving any issues (or user errors). They have also supported me when I came into a new business and needed to overhaul our templates (and I didn't have much time to do it myself). The current business I work for wasn't getting the most out of IVvy so they helped me integrate stripe so that we had the "pay now" button on the invoices. This meant this was feeding directly through stripe (and our team no longer manually processing and entering these invoices). Saving time and wages- happy days! If you are sitting on the fence about jumping on the IVvy train- DO IT, you won't regret it!

Cons

Honestly, the only error we have run into was that I was unable to create invoices one day, but it was fixed within 10minutes with support.

Great experience overall. Support was always quick and helpful. The system has lots of options to customise it to our needs and was generally easy to use and train new users. I have recommended iVvy to many colleagues in other venues and will continue to do so.

Pros

How customisable it was. Built with hotel conferencing in mind but I was able to use it successfully at two different arts venues with specific requirements not built in as standard to the software, but easy to customise. The price - reasonably priced for our operation size compared to some of the other arts-specific venue/event software options aimed at much larger organisations.

Cons

More specific to our use case, but more flexibility with minimum subscription terms would have been great. Also more integration options. I've used both Myob and Xero integrations which worked well, but I would have loved if they had some pos integrations that included the cheaper cloud based pos suppliers. But overall the pros far outweighed the cons!

I love how easy iVvy is to navigate and utilize as our day to day CRM.

Cons

Updating necessary taxes and fees and menus can be a bit of a challenge. We also see some issues with our Reservation system and Ivvy showing the same totals for room block pickup/actualization.

Cons

There are lots of different ways to navigate the system and sometimes that can be overwhelming. Reporting too needs to be more dependable.

Pros

Great support team with quick responses. Easy to use system. Pre generated documents making the sales process easy.

Cons

Can't do a recurring block out in the calendar. Time specific split within a space. ie during the christmas time (12-5pm) and (6-11pm). Not being able to hide the "Uncategorised" bar at the top of the spaces.

Time splits can be achieved by adding multiple sessions to the block, make sure the booking is a detailed booking and multiple sessions can be added to the same space or to multiple spaces. Pros

iVvy has FANTASTIC customer support, always able to assist with short notice. Easy to navigate and easy to get the hang of relatively quickly. Can be utilised with lots of detail or used quite simply too. Integrating seven rooms, paylink etc has been a game changer for us and reduced so much double handling admin!

Cons

A few minor things - tasks being associated to a booking, so when cancelling a quote these all cancel too. Being able to move a booking between venues (we have a 3-level building and if a booking wants to change venue we have to start again) - being able to add a custom note for the online enquiry when in busy time or closed for Christmas so customers don't think they're being ignored. Can sometimes be overwhelming with how much there is that could be used and learnt but thats not a bad thing!

Overall very positive. The people are great and the system offers a good level of customisation.

Pros

I've been implementing iVvy at a new venue for hire. While we do not have any catering aspects to our operations, iVvy has the ability to be tailored to our needs. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] our trainer has been delightful to work with. Friendly, supportive and 'can do' at all stages of our training. We have found all other contacts at iVvy to be similarly knowledgeable and helpful. The reporting that iVvy produces is well considered and easily able to be tailored to our needs. Once built, the system gives a lot of control over to the venue in terms of updating finance reconciliations, tailoring reports, updating fees, adding additional items etc. Set up of virtually every aspect of iVvy can be tweaked to meet a venue's specific needs. I would definitely recommend iVvy to venues looking for an affordable, efficient and elegant bookings solution.

Cons

Ideally there would be functionality to split out the items on an invoice for payment by more than one party - from separate companies. An example of where this would be required is in the case of a contribution subsidy by a sponsor.

Using iVvy daily, it is easy for me to organise all the events. With online quotes coming through to the marketplace and promoting the business as well.

Pros

iVvy is an easy to use program, from entering data is thorough from the initial quote through to finalizing the event. The regular training webinars are fantastic for new users, or even those just needing a few tips.

Cons

Sometimes, having to amend the documents can be tedious, having to manually correct information.

I really enjoy the amount of details this system is able to go into which helps me remember the little things when planning a block or an event; I also love the ease of integration with our PMS system. To top it all off the support team is amazing and SO helpful!

Cons

The original integration was a bit rough with dates not matching, details not matching. I also don't find it necessarily self-explanatory

ivvy- powerful tool which help in event to promote and manage it successfully. But I must say use of it is really easy , from registration, ticketing, email marketing ivvy is the best... it's not running in IE 6 but who cares...!! Now a days no one is using IE 6 as IE 7,8 and 9 in the market.. So it's not an issue.. I must say at least go for the free trial... Cheers guys.....!!!!

I first started using iVvy when it launched in Australia, and 15 years later it remains central to how I manage events. As an independent business owner, I can choose any event registration software I like, yet iVvy continues to be the platform I use and trust.
