I also liked how you could customize the sections. Love the examples content in each section too. Cons The forecasting function was a little hard to figure out. Having that structure helped... but not as much as LivePlan. These guys have been doing this for years and it shows from the thoughtful questions and input fields to the beautiful documents coming out the other end. Pros It was easy to use, once you understood it. It took me a while to figure out how to enter the information. I liked that I could move things around. Cons There were some limitations. I couldn't make a duplicate of an item. Or make changes easily. Reason for choosing LivePlan However, It's way too costly for a one-person company. It's just me using it and there's no affordable anything that I could pay for just me using it. I guess I have to go back to Word and Excel. Review Source DS Daniel S. Very easy to use, tons of examples in all the sections which is really helpful. I was able to share the plan with my colleague without giving him my login details which I found quite useful as my colleague is located abroad. Pros The price!!! I looked around and I think this app beats the others I looked at in terms of price for what is offered. Also the examples were a pro and definitely the financials. This application turned out to be a great tool for that task. We enjoyed it enough to where we keep our account going and now we regularly update our structure to make it easier to have conversations with potential investors, our banker, and other stakeholders. Cons The ability to collaborate sounds nice but the price associated with doing this makes it slightly prohibitive to us at this point. Perhaps in the future when we expand our business and the potential for a spin off becomes viable we might use this feature. Review Source KW Kelly W. Professional business plan presentations. Very easy to use- just input your company details and it produces a professional plan you are able to present to others. I really like the financial forecasting and budgeting piece of the program. Cons I have a difficult time finding much I do not like about this program.
