I needed a software that was HIPAA compliant, affordable and easy to use. I could not find another one to accomplish the same things at this price. The competitors would not give a Business Associate Agreement unless and Enterprise Plan was selected which tend to be pricey. Pros Esigning is a snap. The signatures are secure. The portal is easy to use. You can set this up in minutes and customize to fit your business needs. Customer service is readily available but the only time I call is when I want to modify a form and I have questions. The chat customer service is very responsive and helps you immediately. When I had some ideas for my business and I had some more advanced questions, I was put in touch with the specialists and had my ideas implemented on the spot. Pros User friendly for our staff and easy to get tech support when needed :) Cons sometimes it does take a while to have tech support reach back to us with support. So a quicker response time would be great but I love that those messages are emailed to me when they are answered. The receiver has a very easy time signing and sending them back to me as well. Pros I'll admit, I am not very tech saavy. It either has to be shown to me multiple times until I understand, or it has to be so user friendly that someone like me can do it without support. I love that this software makes it so easy to follow. I learned very quickly that I can do it without confusion. Cons There are features that I am probably unaware of. I would like to know what else I can do with the software. The electronic signature feature is the most likable for me as it does not make it look forged and saves me from having to print, sign by pen, and scan documents. I recommend the mobile signature capture as well when I require a more realistic sign but do not have a stylus on me to do so with the electronic signature feature alone. Cons The only issue is writing the signature with a mouse. It would be nice if there is a feature which adjusts the cursor dynamics so that I can write my signature on the laptop mousepad with my finger and it writes to the screen as though I wrote with a stylus. However I'm sure this can also be resolved if I used a touchscreen device with a stylus itself. Review Source BL Ben L. I haven't had a problem accessing a Foxit document with Adobe and vice versa. Cons Purchasing upgrades after an initial install is a nightmare. I purchased the upgrade a year ago (to give more flexibility with digital signing) and it's still not operational. I don't have time to babysit this software. Review Source Brian S. I only have to send and sign contracts for my business once every few months. eSign Genie was the only company I found that allowed me to pay per document. With other companies, I would have had to waste hundreds of dollars on monthly subscriptions I barely used. Cons The aesthetics of the platform aren't as "slick" or "pretty" as some other software companies. But it doesn't matter to me, because it has the features that count! Our clients ranges from unfamiliar with basic computer commands to very tech savvy and we have encountered no issues with any customers in regards to filling out the contracts. The interface is very intuitive. Cons There is a lot of redundancy in filling out templates on the back end. We have a lot of recurring fields and it would be helpful to have customizable fields that auto-fill throughout the document. I have to email the customer support and wait for the reply. It’s very inconvenient because when it happens I usually need the signature asap. Besides price, I found it easier to use and that it also includes features I did not find in Docusign of Hellosign. It is easy to make templates and add multiple signers. It is a breeze to add various signature fields and also a lot of options for how to set up and deploy templates. Cons I don't have anything bad to say about this software. I have used it for almost a year and I will continue to use it regardless of how large our company grows. At a small business price, I think it beats any of the large competitors for esignature. E-Sign Genie lets us eliminate a lot of paper flowing between our various branches. We use E-Sign Genie to have employees sign Offers of Employment, new hire documents (tax documents, policy sign off's etc.) and health and safety orientation documents. Pros Software has an intuitive interface, is very easy to learn and when there were features that I did not understand immediately customer support was always available immediately to assist and answered every question I had clearly and without relying on jargon. Cons Editing an existing template requires a user to upload the entire template again. If substantial changes to base document have been made the various eSign fields that "overlay" the document no longer align and it means the user has to start from scratch and layout a whole new series of fields. Some of our templates utilized over 100 fields so it is a time consuming project if we decide to change a template.
