Used the software for: ### "Absolutely wonderful!" January 9, 2017 5.0 There are many salon POS/Booking software out there I'm sure. This one, however, stands out for multiple reasons. I would say, it's number one selling point is ease of use. For both management positions and reception staff, the interface could not possibly get any simpler. It is very easy to teach staff how to use. Some things could use a bit of reworking but for me, it has all in all been great to use so far and I can only assume it will get better and better with time. Another thing that makes it so great is the fact that it's online. A lot of people will want an offline mode, however, this is a bad idea in the age of information. You can check sales, book reservations, manage product stock, from literally your couch as long as you have a connection. It also has helped a lot with our marketing plans because (again, why it should be online) everything is stored in a database which allows you to be able to see really useful information, like how long a certain client hasn't come, and what services are selling well, which staff are selling what products etc. Not only can you see this information, but you can see it anywhere you are! Making it very easy to share the data with the right people. At the moment it's free, but if it eventually becomes a paid product, it will be totally worth it! Review Source KK Katie K. October 9, 2018 5.0 This booking software does everything my old software does and more. I paid over $3000 for my previous software and it didn't do half of what shedul offers. And shedul is FREE. Amazing support staff always gets back to me with answers to my questions within 24 hours but most of the time way faster than that. So happy I found this. Pros Easy to use. And free! And the support staff is very quick and efficient. Cons Ability to customize invoices with a logo or signature. March 4, 2016 4.0 I was stressing about getting our salon computerized, selecting the right package, weighing up the pros and cons, the costs and everything else that comes with it, until I found Shedul. Although it didn't meet all our requirements from the start, since then all those extras that I wished were there have started rolling out on a regular basis, and it just keeps getting better. I get the sense that the developers are very focused, use the right methodologies, testing methods, version control and all the rest that goes along with building a quality system. Not to mention the project manager(s), architect(s), designer(s) and the product owners, who obviously know how to treat developers by leaving them to do what they do best. So easy to use, accessible from anywhere and any device capable of an internet connection. Just took a trip a week ago and could see exactly what was happening at any time, no phone calls, emails or anything. Being cloud based, we're also not burdened with things like backing up our data, complex and sometimes buggy new upgrades that you'd have to do if you had a system running locally. Great job guys, keep it up! Last but not least, they listen to what their users want, which is a tricky business and takes great insight to strike the right balance. Highly recommended! Cons I havent found any thing I dont like about the software, if I have questions there is a section where all the FAQ are which is very helpful. Customer service is also super effective. The support has been incredible with emails to see how I'm doing and they're constantly looking for suggestions on how they can improve. I thought this was too good to be true but for the first time in my life I think this is something that has lived up to my expectations and then some. Would highly, highly recommend! January 12, 2019 5.0 Completely easy to schedule and not worry about if i am at work or not and i always have our schedule handy. So we are not losing any customers do to not being at work sometimes with the schedule not in front of me. Pros 1st its free 2nd it is so easy to use 3rd it has all the features i needed as a tattoo shop. It has alot of extra features you can use if you choose. I honestly just love it so far i have looked at so many options and either they were to expensive or they were to complicated. Cons The only problem I am having and it isn't a big issue is that when i log in it does not always go to the current date. It stays on December 2018. This could also be something on my part. It is clean, comprehensive, easy to use. The software is so easy to setup and has so many options to it without overwhelming the user. From reading up about Shedul and theur gameplan- you can clearly see that the team at Shedul has a long term and clear vision which really benefits the end user. This clear and easy to use software organized my wifes salon and she is not a 'software person'. In fact she hates programs and stuff! I am very confident having the backbone of my wifes salon in the hands of this dedicated and creative team! On a side note- As a business person- i love the disciplined approach from a business perspective to offer the product for free and get honest critique from their users to tailor-make the best possible software for this industry. I considered Style Seat but over all I wanted something that was software based and similar as well as cost effective. I googled and found Shedul and decided to give it a try! Everything has been extremely easy to use and I love that my clients get reminder messages for appointments. The design is very professional and I'm so happy to be using it, not to mention the major head ache it saved me since I was doing all my scheduling on my personal Calender. This is a great way way to boost your business. Pros So easy to use and professional design and quality. Cons I kinda wish there was an app for this so I could just download it on to my phone or tablet. That would make things even easier in case I am somewhere without wifi but need to book an appointment. I guess that's not really a Con more of a desire. I can't really find anything wrong with it.
