Really good, has improved my business systems greatly

Pros

My beautician recommended Fresha to me and set it up on my phone whilst I was getting a pedicure, it wasn't difficult - I use to use a paper diary, it took so long! Has saved me so much time and does not cost me anything. Having the reminder system is a key feature for me as clients can't say they forgot about the appointment.I have found customer service response prompt and helpful :-)

Cons

Nothing really, I don't use all the features so for me is an easy and cheap system to use for booking clients

I made the switch from Mind Body, and within days, my whole team absolutely fell in love with it. Afterwards, my clients have now done the same

Pros

The interface for both clients and operators, it's smooth and never glitchy, it's EASY as can be, the price is unbeatable, and the customer service is excellent.... Like a Tesla, this is software that gets BETTER overtime. Can't wait to see where it goes!

Cons

Still waiting to find one. I suppose the marketing items could be expanded, but they keep us posted about that which is very nice.

Fresha has been very easy for us to use since the day we set up, \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] has been so helpful with any queries we have had and been a massive help in implementing the software for our salon. We moved over from another booking system and find that for what we use the software for, Fresha has been much better value for money

Pros

It was very easy to set up and navigate. Capturing client details is very beneficial to us and I’m sure this has contributed to our lack of no shows. There are so many options to chose from making it fully customisable to each salon. We can run two salons from the same software which saves a lot of time and clients also find it simple to navigate and book themselves in.

Cons

Consultation forms is a huge part of our job and it’s great to be able to send to clients ahead of their appointment, however a lot of clients do not fill these out, even after being reminded, so it would be beneficial to have a feature which enables us to have the client fill out their form on the spot in the salon from our own iPad. When clients book themselves online we have had a few instances of people thinking they have already paid for their appointment as they put their card details in. It would be great if it was explained to them that we only capture these details in case of cancellation or no show.

A customer saved via the Fresha app can only delete their visit from the app so that the salon is not charged with the transaction! but if the salon does it, even though the client's visit has not taken place, the salon pays a fee! This is a blatant FRAUD!!!!!! Don't use this app!!!

Really bad customer service and rude !!!!!!

Fresha makes running my business so much easier. All the features I use are just so easy and sleek. The booking calendar, reminders, payments, stock taking. The customer service is second to none.. any issue or query is answered so quickly and always resolved.

Pros

The booking system is so easy to use, I love every feature. Booking, confirmation, payment, reschedule.. the holding card details

Cons

That I can’t sync it to my google calendar

Treat well is very lacking. It’s clunky and hard to get round. As a business owner with 2 young babies, I just need something quick, simple and reliable and treat well was the opposite. ### "Discriminatory pricing"

Frustrating.

Pros

It promise easy enrollment and easy to use for clients.

Cons

I was really disappointed at the pricing of this software. You would expect to pay the same as any one using the software but I was been charged way too much just for a booking system. Fresha charges a percentage of the price of the appointment even if you don't want or need to used their card processing. So if another similar business to mine is charging lower prices they would pay less for the same usage. I try to talk to them but all they wanted was to push me to use their card processing "to see the benefit". This kind of pricing should be illegal. A business prices should not have anything to do with the pricing of the booking services. Fresha need to select a price for their services and not charge based on the business' prices.

As someone who has been in the beauty/aesthetics industry for 7 years, I’ve used many systems but Fresha by far is the best! Straight forward and easy to understand and manage. There’s fantastic tools on Fresha and is easy to navigate. The support from the team at Fresha has been amazing! The lovely \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] has been an absolute diamond in helping us set up Fresha as well as being so quick to help us with any queries and questions. He is always able to schedule in time with us to sit and chat about what’s been going on and guides us on what we need to do. Nothing is too much for Indi and he’s an absolute delight to work with. We are a lucky clinic to have someone so fantastic work with us!

Pros

Love being able to create forms and personalise them so easily. Booking, cancelling and rescheduling appointments is straight forward. Having reminders for client appointments on the day it’s made and a day before is so helpful for our clients!

Cons

A few features that are coming soon are taking a little while like using WhatsApp to send out mass marketing but we can wait a little longer!

It is very good with an amazing service!

Pros

It’s easy to use, send reminders and the service of the Fresha team is amazing!

Cons

Fresha Would Be perfect if it automatically adjust the reservation options to the type of service and not every 15 minutes or half hour… so there wouldn’t be “lost” time between services.

I’ve had a few hiccups along the way but Schedul has been very helpful the whole time!! It’s neat that as my business grows so do they. I feel like I have a personal team!

Pros

I have been using this software from the very beginning and love how it’s grown. It’s so EASY for my clients to book, for me to stay organized and one of the best things is the automatic setup for reminders etc to clients.

Cons

If I have any issues, customer service is so incredibly helpful and quick. No cons really for me.

I have a learning disability. I have to see step by step what’s in front of me. My business is my art. It’s not numbers and spreadsheets. Fresha does the hard part for me and it’s free. I don’t have a receptionist so fresha is mine. I raised my prices a little to cover the transaction fees which are not much at all. I love fresha I’m so happy with everything they do and have done for me. They really do want you to be successful. I know it feels like you’re all alone when starting a business by yourself, but fresha is like the big bother you never knew you needed. I can’t thank y’all enough for keeping me on track!!!

Pros

I like that clients get updates about up services. I also like the reports it generates. My tax spread sheets are easy to do I just plug in the numbers. I like that clients have to book with a card prior to seeing me. It insures me that no one is going to be wasting my time. I love the fresha team and all the support the pour over my head like my fairy god mother’s. Any minor inconvenience I’m going to reach out. They responded and resolved immediately. And I’m back to being a confident business owner. Ever since I’ve started using fresha my business in flourishing.

Cons

I’m just waiting for the membership to roll out!!! I know it’s coming soon.

What they offer is quite good and additional features, if you want to use them, are low cost. It took me quite a while to get it all set up only to find I cant use the payment function without providing paper bank documents

Pros

They have a market place that will allow you to get more clients

Cons

To set up online payments you have to provide bank documents which I do not have as I'm with an online bank for business. Screen shots are not accepted so unless I use a personal account, fresha is useless to me

It was free and had options to take payments, Goldie offers this but only if you upgrade

It's a very intuitive program to use and its free:)

Cons

I'm having to do payroll manually because I do not pay my staff on a commission rate. I believe many spas to not do so because a lot of aesthetic services require product use and it doesn't make sense to pay the same commission rate for massage services or other service that do not require much product. This would be a perfect system if there was an option to pay each employee a service rate and also and option to pay individual staff members a scale of service rate depending on their experience so they have room to grow. I'm truly hoping that this function will be added soon because with 10 staff members it's taking too much time to do payroll and now I'm looking for another POS system. If this is on the horizon please let me know. Thanks so much!

### "Same old app from whenever it was a new thing"

More of a payment app at the moment and not really the go-to for discovering new salons in your area

Pros

Same old platform almost no change to the UI but more outlets so a biz dev focused business not user centric

Cons

No focus on the UI or fixing major UX issues in navigating the home page and finding your same barber in the app can be a challenge so you'd rather call to book sometimes and just use the app for payments

### "Not worth the money."

Ok to use but ridiculously expensive! Especially the 20% of appointment value for a first time client. I’m also a bit suspicious of the fact that if a client books via my book now button on Facebook, it creates a Fresha client account with the email they use to sign into Facebook - which isn’t always their everyday email account. Now, quiet often the Book Now button won’t work correctly and so clients will go to my google business page to book their appointment, create their appointment with their regular email and what do you know? Fresha makes them a new account and I get charged the ridiculous 20% fee!! Do you think I can get support to reply to my emails? Nope! I’m trying to close my Plus account but nope, no one gets back to me and they’re still charging me!! Absolutely disgusted and now cancelling my card so they can’t steal anymore of my money.

Pros

Easy to set up and use. Sends reminders to clients.

Cons

Expensive, hard to get their “support” to reply, can’t edit reminder texts.

Shout out to \[sensitive content hidden\] who have been a great help! I have been using Fresha for a few months now. They've both been an absolute blessing by going out their way to send me video clips and screen shots which helped me visually with what I needed to do, especially with setting up discounts accessible to me only. I commend you both! Good customer service, satisfying response times, good software.

Pros

Fresha is fast and easy to use. My favourite part of Fresha is the payment. I don't have to use my card machine as much and clients do not have to faff about trying to find their card or remember their pin. Booking appointments is easy and so editing or re-arranging the appointment. Once client has paid for treatment an automated message is sent directly to them which gives them the option to write a review and tip. You do not require a computer or a laptop it is accessible from a tablet/ ipad/ mobile phone.

Cons

I struggled with applying discounts, for me it was not clear.

Pros

It is extremely user friendly for both myself and my clients. It updates me immediately when someone books an appointment. I researched several different applications before I decided on this one. After using it for a while I feel like I have definitely made the right choice. I have already recommended this product too many of my colleagues and plan to do so in the future. It's a great addition that makes my job much easier.

Cons

Some of my clients like text message reminders when it's time for their hair cut. This way they do not have to think about it and I make sure they are in on time. I would love 4 to 6 week automatic reminders for certain clients. Honestly, this would be my only suggestion. Everything else is well-thought-out and thorough. This company has literally thought of everything.

Pros

I like how easy the app is to use, and mostly I love that the customer service is extremely quick and helpful. They have a very quick response rate and they are so nice and supportive!

Cons

I would of loved if I was able to sync my Fresha calendar with my Outlook calendar. They said this feature isn't available yet but that they've gotten this feedback before and they will probably add it eventually.
