" July 21, 2018 5.0 Pros Shedul makes our salon run much better than ever before. We now have access to a powerful booking program that's made everything effortless for us. Finally, the best part is that Shedul is completely free, which is unbelievable for all that it gives. Cons We cannot think of any major cons with Shedul, it is that good for our needs. We may sometimes experience network slowdowns while logging in from outside the salon, but that is entirely on the network and not the program itself. We love using Shedul every day. I’ve stopped using it because of the lack of calendar syncing. Pros It’s free, easy to use, and adaptable. Cons No sync between app and any external calendars. No iCal, no google calendar, nothing. This has made it soo much easier to avoid no shows and cancellations last minute because clients have nothing to loose if they cancel last minute but you do ! Time, money, skills, organization, books, inventory, communication with clients, staff, list goes on and on. Shedul makes life for a business owner easier. It allows you to make profiles for clients, add their personal info and notes. Schedule appointment, block off times, select available hours during the week, input your inventory and how much each service uses to keep track, input all your services into the categories you wish along with time frame it will take and cost. Allows you to cancel or reschedule clients and sends clients text/ email notifications for reminder of their appointments, when they been rescheduled, and a invoice of their purchase. Click arrived on appointment when client shows up and check in and out for clients. There is graphs to track your business status and show you what work you have done and what’s coming up. You can add workers to the schedule and give others power to the books or no power allow them to do some services or all. Clients can schedule online themselves, and pay. That’s just the tip of the iceberg you have to try it yourself to see what all it’s capable of but it is easy to use, orginzed, time saver, and free! Cons The least thing at this time is the feature for customers to book and reserve appointments for cancellations and no show fees. If a customer books with a credit card on file they can use any card without a dime on it and in the event they do no show or cancel their card is declined for insufficient funds! Pros \- Very thorough and detailed - Free - Visual analytical data like graphs - Ability to track all the numbers, without having to keep different spreadsheets for everything. - Ability to keep employee, client, sales, inventory, point of sale (and other features I cannot think of because it's so complete) It can be kept all in the same place. - Ability to text or email customer receipts when checking out. - The best in the market based on my research - Great support team Cons \- The only thing I would have to say I saw as a flaw was that I experimented with the account in order to learn my way around and was unable to delete all data (which was experimental) even as the owner of the account. I think the owner of the account should have full administration rights (you already have all access minus this feature), or should be able to request for the support team to reset the information in order to not create a new account or have false analytical data. I have addressed it with the support team and they gave me a prompt response stating this is for security reasons and that they are working on implementing new features as others request them, and they see possible. I not only have a finely tuned booking system where clients can make and manage their own bookings; I also have a system whereby I can calculate exactly how much each client visit costs ion real terms. Pros I worked for Microsoft for 13 years, have their tattoos all over my body, have my Office 365 subscription... In other words I am fully 100% Microsoft. Microsoft has introduced a new product, which I get for free, with Office 365 called Booking. I was super excited as I thought I could move off Shedul and have nothing except Microsoft running in my environment. WRONG!!! Shedul is in every way a superior product. Microsoft, I still LOVE you, but Shedul kicks your Booking App. Shedul is by far the best product out there!!! Cons Only con is that I cannot process Credit Card payments and send directed marketing from the app. But I believe the Credit Card facility will be introduced soon. When I decided to start my own hairdressing business on my own I was looking for a reliable booking system, I found a lot of expensive systems online. I came across fresha, it was free unless you want to upgrade to fresha+ and even then it's still by far the cheapest I have come across to date that is easy to adapt to. Pros I love that fresha sends will send an automatic text message/ email to clients prior to their appointment. Very easy to navigate, the software does almost everything for you. So convenient. The support team are great, at anytime if I need assistance they are very efficient in their response time and helpful information every time. I would highly recommend this for anybody staying a new business as I did. Would never look back. Cons Every day I am still learning new things about fresha as I find time to navigate around and try new things. I can't really fault this service. I am somebody who naturally finds difficulty when learning new technology.
