"As long time users, we've found success with Ability OMS"

Overall: We've used the product since 2007 in its 1.0 version. We have seen a lot of changes and good things happen to the software but remain on the self-hosted platform whereas it seems a lot of their current development is focused on Azure Hosted environments. Hoping to get there or some form of a SAaS model at some point.

Pros: Ease of use for entering orders and customers. The ability to create meaningful reporting.

Cons: Limited Payment processor options and payment processing quirks.

Alternatives Considered: NetSuite
Reasons for Choosing Ability OMS: At the time, we got in on the ground level of the product and initially it was very much tailored to our specific needs.
Switched From: Response
Reasons for Switching to Ability OMS: Extremely outdated technology. Complete lack of features.

"Excellent Product & Support!"

Overall: Great product and with top notch support team behind it.

Pros: Comprehensive capabilities and great support.

Cons: Nothing to mention here, all the experiences with Ability have been excellent.

"Ability OMS - complete package"

Overall: They have been awesome to work with especially from an IT perspective. They have knowledgeable staff to assist.

Pros: It has almost everything you need to run the entire business without having to use an integration for each piece (customer service, purchasing, warehouse, etc.) with other vendors. You have the option to use integrations for pieces but do not have to do it for most things. They are always responsive and helpful when an issue does arise.

Cons: I wish they were not moving everything to Azure cloud.

Reasons for Switching to Ability OMS: Ecometry/JDA/Red Prairie/BlueYonder (whoever they are now) platform was not progressing with the times especially in the ecommerce area.
