Founder Banking Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Learnyst - A great team, good solution " November 1, 2021 5.0 Overall, Learnyst has been a great solution that works on a fixed fees model thereby taking the unpredictability in charges away. Also, they mean great service with a super charged deeply motivated team with minimal turnover. They are straight talkers and mean business rather than exposing you to sales or marketing and help desks like many others in this field. The best thing is they do not oversell, they will try to optimize the plans and make you extract full value for money from existing plans rather than promoting higher plans for the sake of revenue only. November 27, 2023 2.0 I always thought learnyst will grow and become a very good alternative to teachable or kajabi. But poor support, bad documentation, laggy admin panel have convinced me to leave the platform. I will emphasize further, that even with all the lacking I would have continued if the customer support was good. Pros Learnyst is mostly easy to use. The best part is their website builder. I was very hooked on the use of Bevy in their front-end design. Its also easy to bind lead forms which is great. Cons 1\. If you get stuck at any point, good luck with customer service. This is the worst customer service I have seen for a while now. People are reluctant to help, does not answer the question you ask, don't have any idea about some of their own technical tools, and most importantly they will never say "sorry", or "I don't know let me get back to you" or even try to genuinely help you. I was so frustrated at one point that I decided to reach out to their \[sensitive content hidden\]!! Different helpline person says different stuff. One example, I had my SSL set up with learnyst for last one year, everything was fine and now suddenly they said they dont provide ssl and I have to buy it from my domain provider!! Its soooo frustrating to talk to the support team because they wont even explain things properly and you will feel helpless. 2. The back end is very confusing. Finding easy options requires hard research and because the documentation is so poor, you easily get lost. This applies for many options like adding custom domain, integrating pixel, editing contents and many more 3. The content creation page is slow. It lags, sometime keeps crashing and many time I had to go back and try again. The overall UX is also not intuitive. 4. I don't like the student's learning page at all either. It looks cheap and hard to browse from one lesson to another. There is not much customization on the course curriculum page. Review Source PS Prakash S. Director E-Learning Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Our Experience with Learnyst" February 10, 2022 5.0 Pros Ease of adding course material and a wide variety of lessons can be added like video lessons, PDFs, Quizzes and Tests. All course content is encrypted and screen-recording is prohibited which means the content is highly secure. Recently zoom has been integrated into the App so our students can experience the low latency of zoom within our app and our meetings are also secured so that only our students are able to join the sessions. The android app works great and the admin panel is so easy to use. All the required features from content to marketing to selling subscriptions are extremely well integrated into the system which takes away a lot of burden from a teacher. The support team is also quite prompt in terms of fixing the problems(which are rare though) as and when reported. Cons There should have been some more themes and a bit more scope for customization to make the app different from others' to make it even more exciting for the users. Review Source SA Sahaj A. Teacher Education Management Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Best LMS for India" February 27, 2021 5.0 It is the very foundation on which our online academy runs and when we could have gone broke during the lockdown - this platform saved our household and kitchen. Pros It's ease, constant upgrades, a set of dedicated and humble people always ready to support in case of any issue. Learnyst offers amazing integrations with 3rd party apps, the mock test engine is rock solid and has improved a lot, the overall platform has matured a lot. The people in the background are always available and ready to work with us and listen to feedback. Cons The apps have glitches, minor ones, but then that is also dependent on the student's phone. I believe a new pricing plan should be introduced which incorporates OTP costs and bandwidth limitation costs in one package. As despite being in the highest tier pricing, I still have to pay extra for these services - the watermark and bandwidth limitation - should be built in into the highest tier pricing. OTP costs as separate - still make some sense - but for the other two features - they should be offered to the premium users. Review Source Narayan P. Interface from the admin portal and user interface is good. 2. Live tests feature is good enough and no restrictions on the numbet of people attempting quiz. Cons 1\. Uploading questions to the tests and quizzes isn't as easy. For media rich questions, it's difficult to upload each media and add. Direct functionality through word doc should be added. 2) Pricing is on the higher side. For each module, you need to pay separately. 3) For tests module, pricing is based on number of tests. In case you want to promote and give free tests to your customers, it may not be very economical. Having gone through the experience of creating apps and platforms, it is has been far simpler to run our courses on Learnyst (our technology woes are in the past) and we can solely focus on teaching. The team is responsive, helping to assist, go the extra mile when its users are facing some rough weathers, and always open to suggestions. But most of them are expensive or don't support Indian currencies. Some of them offer some discount if we opt for a yearly package. But "Learnyst" provides the services with less pricing (even for monthly billing cycle). Initially I was sceptical due to their less price. But after using the product for more than 6 months, I don't think of moving my courses to any other platforms. Pros 1) It is completely cost-effective as compared to any other LMS providers 2) Awesome customer support (I have asked over 50 questions in last 6 months, and every time they came back with swift response) 3) Open to feedback/suggestions. I had given a feedback related to rating system and how it can be improved. They took it seriously and implemented within 1 month. Cons Encrypted courses are not supported in Mac browsers. They have a wide range of very competitive pricing options for everyone. 2) They offer services from hosting courses to mock tests and even having your own branded android and apple apps ! That makes it a one of a kind platform . 3) The course content options include hosting scorm files made on external authoring tools brining in extreme versatility to the things you can do with the platform . 4) Unlimited learners and courses option they give is pretty awesome . They limit the bandwidth however. But still provide extra bandwidth at very competitive prices in case you need it . Cons 1) I think they should have a free version on offer even if with very limited features. 2) The scorm files uploaded some time have issues . But they work diligently to resolve every issue.
