It does the job and helps our organization work better. Pros GanttPRO gives us all the necessary tools to plan our school activites on many levels. With the educational/nonprofit discount we were given it represents an outstanding value for money. It is very important for us to be able to coordinate events, milestones and deliverables across projects/schools. The Portfolio view provides a nice way to visually align. Reflecting task status is easy and visual. That helps to keep status information up to date and to anticipate problems before the become serious. Since we have people working on many projects simultaneously, the Workload view helps us to avoid overloading and expectations that can not be met. Overall we like GanttPRO for its ease of use and just the right functionalities that are important for us. Cons The lack of checklists associated with each task. We would also need to define sequences of tasks (processes) as templats with checklists for each task. May be integration of the checklists with tasks in Google. February 16, 2022 3.0 GanttPRO ensures efficient synchronization and good coordination between all the project teams and then we have developed a very good level of communication and we gain time and money. Pros the most impressive features I think that real-time interaction and easy workflow notices and comments with attached documents were the most impactful features of GanttPRO software. GanttPRO solution was very useful even for the training team and was closely interfaced and implemented with our ERP information system and for all our business processes. Cons I hope that a template model task can be copied for the main tasks of one project at one click and I don't need to copy the template task for every new task because in our case, all main tasks should follow the same process so they have the same subtasks. I was initially looking for a tool that was more powerful than a simple to-do list but not as cumbersome as something like Microsoft Project. GanttPRO is exactly what I needed. The interface is very intuitive and I didn't need to watch hours of tutorials to get started. The drag-and-drop functionality for adjusting task durations and dependencies is very easy learning. I was building a detailed project timeline within my first hour. The visual clarity of the Gantt charts is outstanding, making it easy to spot bottlenecks and see the critical path at a glance. Cons I only wish the Printing options were as robust! The ability to Print each section as a snapshot would be very beneficial for those who like to take notes old-school. What helped a lot was a support team that would answer questions real FAST (sometimes within a few minutes!). I was able to get up to speed with GanttPRO within three weeks, and it works well for planning our development projects in a large team of engineers. I checked out other tools as well, but most of them had a serious show stopper or were lacking important features. That's why we chose GanttPRO Pros GanttPRO is an easy to use Gantt chart that allows for easy managing our development projects in a large team of engineers. It allows for a good resource management as well. Much better than any other tool I checked. Cons There are a few minor(!) wishes for additional features that I told GanttPRO, and I hope the GanttPRO team may add them at some point in the future. But none of those is a show stopper. I went through several applications and software and they were all missing important views, fields, and functionality that I required. Love that it works well with my Mac. I navigated through the program quickly and was able to find everything I needed. Cons I would like to customize the Ghantt view without having to see the week numbers (week 38) for example. Just want the dates (17th-22nd). Also missing the ability for the duration to be days instead of hours. Furthermore, what I liked most is being able to publish a viewing url without any problems and without the need for login on the part of the viewer. The visualization is clean and the observer can easily understand the evolution of the project, with a snapshot of the moment of generation or dynamically if you make any changes to the project. And only after I found this one, I do not need to search more because all I want is already inside.Me and my team successfully using the collaboration with MS Teams and it is working great! Pros Registration is very simple and will not take a minute. The software is well structured to create the specific type of chart - Gantt chart. It has collaborations with various platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Slack and more. In addition, there are different account types for different user requirements. Alternatives considered [Teamwork.com](https://www.capterra.com/p/120390/Teamwork-Projects/) Reason for choosing GanttPRO I strongly recommend to use this software to work with any Gantt charts over other products.If you plan to use it as a enterprise product, I recommend the Business version as it allows to create large groups and track them using the software feathers.If you are required to use advanced feathers of the product such as project customisation, tasks overdue, etc. the Premium plan is you option.For common users the Basic plan is cheap and contain all necessary feathers to work with Gantt charts.And the best in my opinion is to use it as a Student because the software team provides a fully free plan for them. I came across GanttPRO and tried it out with the 14-day trial version. During this time, I was able to tailor the tool to my needs and adapt it to my thesis. It should also be mentioned that I have unfortunately not yet tested the mobile app at this time and can therefore not give an assessment. We have tested four PM software over the last 3 months to find which one would help us achieve our targets of listing out our tasks by responsibility and keep us on tract to achieving these in our set time frame. GanttPro was the first program we tested, and it ticked ALL the boxes, easy it is to use, its layout was pleasing to the eye and the features were easy to understand. One of our members isn't very computer literate and he picked it up within hours. After trying out the others we have come back to GanttPro and address our only issue, which was cost.
