As a nonprofit organisation, affordability is a critical factor. Many other tools required a high minimum number of paid licenses to unlock advanced features, which made them financially unrealistic for us. GanttPRO offers a solution that is both functionally strong and financially accessible. Additionally, when we contacted the support team with questions, they were responsive and helpful, which gave us further confidence in continuing to use the platform. Pros What I liked most about GanttPRO is the Portfolio feature. This was actually the main reason we chose it after comparing several project management tools. It provides a very clear visual overview of multiple projects at once, which is essential for our organisation. We manage several parallel projects with overlapping timelines, and being able to see tasks by day, week, or month helps us plan ahead and anticipate workload peaks. I also appreciate that the system does not overly restrict how many tasks you can add. For some teams, strict limitations might be helpful, but for us it is important to sometimes break work down into very detailed task structures. The interface is very intuitive and I didn't need to watch hours of tutorials to get started. The drag-and-drop functionality for adjusting task durations and dependencies is very easy learning. I was building a detailed project timeline within my first hour. The visual clarity of the Gantt charts is outstanding, making it easy to spot bottlenecks and see the critical path at a glance. I really enjoyed my trial, which is why I decided to purchase a paid license, which is available thanks to the student discount.
