" July 13, 2020 5.0 I am a big fan of this product, and have told several of my friends to try it out. Pros Before using Logickull, I had not worked with e-discovery. I had no clue what I was doing. I came across it while trying to figure out an easy system to get through my huge discovery project. This software made everything so much easier. Cons Once in a while, it slows down, and you need to log off and back in to get back to the normal pace. Reason for choosing Logikcull I like the flat fee option, and the fact that it is a monthly service. Not to sound anti-social, but I also like that I did not have to interact with anyone to get this working. I did not want hours of training, but just to download something and get going on my project. That's exactly what I got, and I've been using it for a lot of my discovery productions. May 15, 2017 5.0 It has streamlined our review process. I am able to supervise and communicate with our reviewers through the software. This has given me more confidence in our review team. Pros Logikcull's interface is incredible. It provides reviewers with the ability to easily flag and comment on documents that are of particular interest or that are giving them difficulty in coding. I am able to easily search for and analyze the work they have been done to ensure the quality of work. Cons I have asked tech support about this issue, and it appears that there is no way to see what "saved searches" a document appears in when that document is being viewed. I loaded over 30 gbs of data from one zip file overnight. When I came in the next morning, my documents were ready for review. I found the support staff to be extremely helpful and available at all times I needed assistance, seven days a week. The interface of the program is very intuitive and our review teams were able to review documents with little to no training. The document production method in the program is equally efficient and intuitive. Pros My favorite feature is the processing of date and ease of document review and production Cons I would like Logikcull to develop a method whereby the production bates numbers can be a choice to be included in the document view and print options. Contracted Paralegal Law Practice Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Best Legal Database I've Ever Used" November 11, 2016 5.0 I have been a paralegal, in almost every legal field for over 10 years, with particularly extensive experience in Discovery, especially E-Discovery. This is the best database I have come across. I gave it 4 stars in Customer Support because I have not had the need to reach out to support, which may merit it 5 stars but I do not like to give a 5 out of 5 for something I in which I have little knowledge. The same applies to Value for Money as I am not privy to its cost, especially vis a vis the cost of similar programs. The only negative I can say is that files can take a bit longer to download than ideal, but that is more of a function of being Cloud-based in working in an extremely high Internet tracking environment. Logikcull has been great for e-discovery work when trying to find out when documents were created, edited, etc. I also enjoy the ability to quickly search keywords and tag documents as necessary. Exporting and reporting can then easily be done based on the tags that are set. Pros I use the product in investigations along with the other tools in our environment. If there were more compatibility with data storage locations, it may make importing data more efficient. If you run into any issues, give them a call and they will guide you through it. Cons I haven't run into any problems with the software. Everything has worked smoothly. The software works on any platform and device. Uploading is easy and fast. The software makes it easy to handle any amount of data more efficiently. Cons I am told that Logikcull is improving the flexibility of its production/download capabilities. We only used the program at it's most basic capability level as we were able to settle our dispute before serious legal maneuvers were required. Customer support was good. Pros I'm an older person (78) and don't like most software because it's not intuitive for guys who grew up without computers, but this program was reasonably easy to use Cons It's a bit hard to weed the advanced features and get to the basic features someone with simple needs wants Review Source BF Brad F. Logik is a great company to work with, their tech support always responds quickly with useful answers and they are very open to customer feedback. Cons The document previewer is a little slow to load larger(100+ page pdfs and etc.). Also the ability to do certain things like delete a document upload set from a project would be nice. Excellent Customer Service response with fixes or workarounds as various issues come up. Cons Not much I dislike other than larger docs might take a few seconds longer to display on the screen than others. Only once did a planned maintenance window affect one of ou rattorneys but we were able to work around it ultimately. Summary LogikCUll has provided our firm with a cost effective review tool allowing us to generate more business and compete with larger firms and see increased profitability with less outsourcing needed for our firm. We have continued to impress attorneys on the speed of loading data to be ready for their review and also with the speed in which we can have production sets ready for download and produced to the opposing side. May 13, 2017 4.0 Pros I especially like the bulk keyword search, which allows me to see how valuable different search terms will be, all at once. I also like that you can have multiple browser tabs open, so that you can toggle back and forth between more than one project on Logikcull at the same time. Cons I do not like the fact that if you edit the text in the search bar after running an advanced search, it doesn't modify the search. You should be able to toggle between advanced and ordinary searches with slightly more permanency, so that you don't constant have to reopen the advanced search function. It makes reviewing documents much easier, and searching is really simple. I particularly like the filtering options for narrowing data sets down to exactly what we're looking for. I also like that the system overall is built around FILTERS and TAGS. I get it, and I love the simplicity designed to extract the most nuanced data. Cons no ability to edit tags..... why. no ability to hide tags. Lots of options by entering "syntax" but difficult to implement and remember / no ability to export or create list of "highlights" / also many features seem to be hidden in the Q&A. It is pretty easy to use once you have learned how. I would like to be able to view the bates numbers on the document while I review, but the labels allow me to know at least the general range where the numbers are. Pros The ability to put a variety of document types into one product, and then put out one file with the documents. Cons I would like to be able to revise bates numbers once something is uploaded, as sometimes you determine a document is not responsive but it has already been uploaded. Review Source RL Robert L. Cons While I have had an overwhelmingly positive experience with the software, small things like the difficulty to delete a document production. Also as someone relatively inexperienced with the use of load files perhaps more accessible access to help or a step by step guide of dealing with the process of data fields, loading load files and more would be easier. The process has often been extremely cumbersome, and for jobs with thousands of pages, great care is needed to ensure client information is protected and productions are properly responsive. As the rules are changing and firms increasingly demand native format productions, our old way of doing things is no longer viable. We decided to give Logikcull a try when a voluminous matter came our way several months ago. There has been a bit of a learning curve on our end, but Logikcull support is always responsive, friendly, patient, and extremely helpful. I'm glad this small business is providing such a great service to professionals like me and the others at my firm! Pros Ease of use to get started; comparable affordability. Cons Opposing counsel provided a file in a format that was not immediately compatible with Logikcull, but customer support provided a quick and fairly straightforward solution.
