I took a tutorial, but the web design was wonderfully easy and uncomplicated even for beginners. The customer service was also superb. Cons I had some bumps in the road completing my project along the way. Your customer service was great, but most of the questions that I assumed had easy fixes or answers, didn't. Rather, the person I was chatting with said they would put a new features request in. For example, the documents were numbered when I opened them, but when they weren't open, there were no numbers so it was extremely difficult to find the document I had left off of. To have the documents OCR'd and to be able to do a search with to and from emails is a huge help. The customer service from the sales to the tech people are amazing. They are very helpful and they keep in contact with you after you purchase the product to see how you are doing and if you have any questions. It's one of the best customer services we have had in a long time. The only thing the system is not able to do is separate an attachment from an email, which we have to do manually. The tags are colorful and it is easy to add tags and nest them under each other. Cons I wish it were possible to extract parts of a document once it is uploaded to the platform, so that you can tag each part of the document differently. Pros It's easy to use... Anyone can use it, without any specific skills. It allows filtering when searching for something thus saving on time which improves time management. It's easy to understand. There are some problems with selecting the filters which constantly refresh slowing down the process and some navigation issues that prevent higher ratings but it gets the job done for the most part. " August 11, 2017 5.0 I don't have to do any programming to get the data into the platform. Attorneys can get up and running on the program with 30 minutes of training. The ability to IM a question while in the program and get an immediate answer is invaluable! Pros The uploading of data is incredibly easy -- just drag and drop! Love the ability to IM a tech person for help and get an answer in a few minutes. No waiting for someone to get back to you. The program is user friendly and easy to customize. Cons I'd like to see the monthly costs pro rated. It's a bit frustrating to pay for an entire month of data when it was in the platform for only a few days and then deleted. Review Source CG Corey G. It has an entirely easy and logical UI, with everything that I need for a typical document review. I really appreciate the customer service chat feature, and have spoken on the phone a couple times with really helpful techs. When I have a choice, I often recommend to clients that we use Logikcull. One thing I'd be interested in is your capabilities for cell phone imaging and review. Pros It's easy to use. Cons There are some functions that other software platforms offer like visualizations, but I don't use those functions that often. Pros Pros are: easy to use and flexible great customer support fairly priced and great toll for a practice that does not bill by the hour Cons Does not have a function to facilitate written answers to interrogatories that tie to the document production. But, I found a work around to accomplish a similar goal because the software is easy to use and flexible. The workaround involves more steps than I'd like, which is why I'd like to see something added to Logikcull to provide a full package for responding to discovery. Pros Once I have a production template, it's really quick to cut productions. I like the ease of creating batches and tagging documents, and I really like the filter options on the front page of search results. Cons I'd love a more robust tagging system (with single-option boxes, for example, where a reviewer must select one of two options, or a drop-down menu selector). I'd appreciate a pared-down field list in the advanced search menu. I'd also like to be able to modify previously saved searches (or at least see how I built them). Review Source RP Richard P. I was able to use iSeekDiscovery to identify the relevant emails and extract them from the three email accounts in just 8 minutes. I imported the 1,700 responsive messages directly into LogikCull for review. The result was end to end discovery in less than five hours. LogikCull was easy to use and allowed me the ability to further cull the messages to identify the most relevant documents for my case. Review Source Abe B. We have implemented several review teams with minimal training. There are some limitations with the program (things like inability to view CAD drawings and inability to highlight on the face of the viewer), but overall, the ease of use far outweighs the limitations. And the responsiveness of the support team is a big plus. Not only are they quick to respond when there are questions or issues, but they also are constantly seeking ideas for what to develop next. " September 5, 2017 5.0 Pros Granted there was a big learning curve in trying to figure out how to use the program (since I never really dealt with the specifics of eDiscovery), but as with anything, the more I played around with the various functions and used it for our case-matters, it became quite easy to use. Cons I wish you had the option to specify what wording you wanted to include on a slipsheet for a specific file type. I also wish it had the ability to automatically identify (or the option to designate) how you will receive opposing parties' document productions when not produced in a "typical" eDiscovery program load file (i.e. we receive the majority of opposing parties' document productions in PDF file and/or PDF file and native Excel file formats only.) May 12, 2017 4.0 Pros The document import and export features are excellent. I have spent far too much time with load files in other software, and I'm not eager to ever do that again. Cons The interface could be more responsive. Ideally one could perform a search on the "none" tag and have the update happen more quickly between documents. There is a visible delay when the search is performed again. In order to tag a document as "responsive" I have to hold down Shift for a couple of beats \*before\* I also hit R, or it won't take. I appreciate the fact that when there is a glitch in the program it gets addressed by the engineers and they resolve the problem. I also like the continuing improvements that come out periodically. I would say that a con is when the system is down for maintenance and we have a deadline. Especially since it is down all weekend. However, the advance search features are limited and clunky to utilize. Missing features such as a "between" feature for dates requires the use of multiple filters to achieve results. Further, modifying searches is difficult to learn and perform efficiently. Logikcull is a great platform for small reviews but need additional management tools (such as document assignment) in order to allow scaling for larger projects. Pros Google like layout. Cons Difficulty saving and modifying searches. Inability to assign documents for review or remove documents from searches that have been reviewed (without the use of a tag indicating "reviewed"). The whole process is very intuitive. From importing data, to review, searches, tags and culling; everything is very upfront and easy to manage. I have found that using the support mechanisms, from the chat support or video support; both have been very helpful. I was surprised at how quickly the chat support and email support got back to me with questions I had. Document processing and bates labeling questions I had were addressed with the video tutorials and answered my questions completely.
