As an end user, I have to say it's the worst I've ever seen or used, and that's not a close call. Please show mercy on your line employees and purchase something else...anything else....anything at all. Pros Let me be clear that I do not speak for my agency, but there is absolutely nothing I like about this software. Cons OMG. Where do I start? There are amazingly large time lags while pages load, reminding me of dial up internet of the '90s. The graphic user interface is confusing. There are ridiculous pop ups, like the one telling you that clicking "edit" might lead to there being changes in your inputs. There are places where data is entered in 24 hour time, and other places where it is entered in 12 hour time. When encounters are printed out, the formatting is horrible and difficult to read and very unprofessional looking. Most maddening is data disappearing, requiring the same values to be entered more than once, and often the only way you would know it is that you can't close the darn encounter. Customer service, although outsourced, is attentive and typically responds within the hour. Since they are based in the West Coast, it permits for late night calling for East Coast customers. Cons System is not always intuitive. Pattern of new updates being made on Sundays without making making the customer aware of changes. The team has worked diligently with us to customize the program to our needs with an emphasis on making it as intuitive as technically possible. We currently have 60 users, all accessing the program from remote locations on both desktop and mobile devices. As the world becomes increasingly mobile, we have worked closely with the support team to improve the look and feel of the program on the most popular mobile devices. Although the program works on all internet browsers, we find that it's functionality is most consistent on Chrome. Last year we worked closely with our support and development team to develop a brand new timesheet application unique to our needs and have been using it successfully for over 1 year now and it has been very reliable. I like the use of permissions and completions that the provider can set to be sure staff are completing notes prior to billing. The billing and accounting side of Dr. Cloud is adequate and I am happy they are working hard to improve these aspects. I use several different EHR/billing software programs in my office, they all have limitations. Dr.Cloud is the most responsive to updating, changing and improving their software per provider request, rather than some specific update. They trained our 325+ users to use the system efficiently! Cons Because they have to support our 325+ users with diverse requirements, sometimes the solutions are a little late. As one who does not enjoy the business side of practice, I needed a user-friendly EMR product that is efficient and easy to use. I also needed a product that is useful for mental health services. DrCloudEMR has exceeded my expectations and has met these needs. Now that DrCloudEMR is set up, the electronic submission of claims is quick and painless. The system has tools, such as the Claim Manager, that help me track claims easily. I also appreciate that I can individualize the Fee Sheet to fit my practice’s needs; it is very helpful that I have been able to set up a short list inside the Fee Sheet section of the Billing section. The customer service from DrCloudEMR is excellent. My questions are answered quickly and the service representatives take time to make sure my needs have been met. They are kind, respectful and very helpful. I would highly recommend this product to counselors who want a user-friendly product and great customer service. My staff and I find it very easy and intuitive to use. The user interface is very clean and we can access whatever we need with very few clicks. This is one of the most concise and easy to use EMR i have seen. I can build my own forms without incurring any extra cost. I can generate any report i need to run my practice efficiently. My staff is thrilled by how easy DrCloudEMR has made their day-to-day tasks. The integrated billing has significantly lowered our costs and increased revenues. I can access DrCloudEMR from anywhere, anytime and though my phone and iPad as well. Their customer service is very knowledgeable, friendly and the reponse time is very quick.
