Pros

  • I love how the developers worked with me to design the reporting how I needed it. I also love that they aren't priced ridiculously high like some companies are.

  • I like that you can have an app for giving and that you are notified each time you recieve a donation by email. Its also easy for the donor to send a note along with the donation.

  • I had great experience and it was very easy to use I would recommend it to family friends and coworkers awesome site.

  • My donors appreciate the ease of the site and my organization appreciates the simplicity for record keeping and issuing tax receipts.

Cons

  • The weekly sales call are very annoying, I'm NOT going to change our church management system.

  • We were two snowstorms away from financial crisis.

  • Our accountant had a difficult time getting ahold of anyone at C2G for a while and so that slowed the issue down.

  • As far as I know, donors haven't had much trouble, but not many people give anymore and I don't know if that's due to the site, lack of advertising on my part, or a drop in donations.

"Great Option for Non Profits and Religious Organizations"

Pros: Continue to Give software was one of the easiest to implement. It is very easy for users to navigate the system.

Cons: The reporting is the only area we could see improvement for our purposes.

"Customer Service"

Overall: I like the concept, and generally it works well once you have your organization loaded. But people need to be able to find us, or we will miss donations.

Pros: The customer service reps are friendly whenever you are able to talk to one.

Cons: Everytime I have called lately, I get a recording saying reps are busy and will get back to me in 24 hours. Sorry, but if I am having a problem, and my organization has disappeared from the search function, I want help now to fix it so donors can find us in the search.

Reasons for Switching to Continue to Give: The text to give, QR code, kiosk capabilities, etc. HOWEVER, PayPal at least answered their phones!

"Continue to Give is inexpensive but you get what you pay for."

Overall: I saved money on monthly fees.

Pros: The setup on our website was easy and quick. Pricing is very affordable and billing works well. Adding funds is very easy. Reporting works well.

Cons: There isn't much visual appeal. The giving site is very generic and lacks interest. While it's easy to add funds, there isn't much room for casting vision and adding art. Tech support is available only through email. I had to work hard to get a phone number to speak with a real live person. When I switched to Continue to Give 2 years ago I was using a "Cadilac" company and was looking to save some money on fees. I saved money but now I feel like I have a "Fiesta"! I'm on the hunt again for an Outback.

"Reliable, Accessible and Helpful"

Overall: It's hard to see how we could operate effectively without CTG handling security for credit card processing and online donations.

Pros: We really like the seamless donation processing, and the fairly easy method of accounting for all donations/receipts. The payment processing has been very reliable, and many of our donors prefer the option to make a recurring donation by credit card. CTG is also more cost effective than many competitors. The support staff has been very helpful.

Cons: We'd like to see a bit more information provided to donors as they setup donations. Inexperienced users sometimes make mistakes in the process without realizing it until inadvertent payments have been made.
