Pros: I can know in real time the status of tasks and projects, as well as create, assign and comment on tasks easily, to know at all times what is being done and who is doing it

Cons: Unlike Microsoft project, it does not generate a Gantt chart for the project and the free version only allows up to 15 people.

Pros: Asana is the most powerful and intuitive tools for planning and managing projects of any complexity. It's very easy to use and the quantity of features just fenomenal. Extensive documentation, reliable support and easy to customize platform.

Cons: Sometimes I experienced some bugs like freezing the interface for a second or two. But I didn't see such issues during last month so maybe it's fixed already. And as often - pricing is a cornerstone for small-size companies and freelancers.

Pros: Great way to organize a project. One of the top ways for sure. Everything you need to keep a project organized, on time, and with everyone knowing what they need to know.

Cons: Coming from being a Trello user, feature parity with Trello exists but they are paid plans with Asana so the cost hasn't made it worth it.

Pros: First and foremost, a workflow software named Asana is just brilliant. It's very helpful for keeping our team on track and makes collaborating remotely a breeze.

Cons: To be fair, I wouldn't have this issue if I had a paid account. But, since I'm still in the start up phase, we use the basic account and it doesn't have avanced search features.

Overall: Our team can work together no matter where they are.

Using free version: easy to learn and good option for teams who collaborate on projects frequently.

Pros: It helps teams collaborate and it's a more sophisticated "to-do" list. It's a good way to plan and track progress of projects. Like the calendar view, repeating task option, and due time.

Cons: Sometimes you can lose the task you created if you forget to assign or give a date it disappears and it can be difficult to find again. I'm using the free version so I think a lot of my smaller functionality complaints could be solved by opting to pay.

Pros: What I love about Asana is that you can access your projects anywhere, even on your phone. That is a big plus for me because you can work on the go.

Cons: I would love to try a free trial of Asana Premium. I think I would actually pay for premium if I knew what it entailed.

Pros: Of all the team coordination/communication tools around (and there are a lot of them!) Asana really takes the top prize by a long way. Far more user-friendly than the competition. If you are in the position of needing to coordinate a team, especially with remote or flexible working, this is the tool to use.

Cons: Bit of a learning curve which is probably no surprise for an app as potent as this one. And as is expected this app won't fit all industries/teams.

Comments: In General, it turned out to be an interesting solution that does not require much time to master the product and start working and thus using this product you can easily organize the work of your whole organization and bring your business to success.

Pros: A great tool for managing projects and tasks in the organization. Has a free version to test the features of this product. Quite clear and pleasant graphical interface. Using Asana, you can organize your tasks in different ways, such as list, or in dash board style. Asana offers a fairly simple interaction between teams. Plus, Asana offers calendars, notifications, reminders, file sharing, history tracking, and search functionality.

Cons: Of the minuses can be noted only a problem with permissions, in which all users have the same permissions and is quite very easy to someone accidentally delete something, but fortunately it is also quite simple to return everything to the back.

Pros: Asana has increased our efficiency by providing for multi-faceted project management. Elements can be assigned to various groups or individuals, tagged with a current status and re-assigned as needed until completed. It provides a user interface that is customizable and allows you to view project task assignments by project or by who it is assigned to. Asana has revolutionized how we manage projects.

Cons: Asana comes with a free app on Apple ITunes. It works well but would be better if it duplicated the user interface of the web application.

Overall: All parties are able to see the current status of the project. It keeps everyone on track and on task.

Pros: I used Asana for a short period of time and found it to do what I needed - communicating with my virtual team and holding everyone accountable for their parts.

Pros: The software was visually appealing and the opportunity to work in an Agile space was available for the projects.

Cons: The system kept reminding me of tasks that were overdue and I couldn't navigate around the site very easy. It felt a bit cluttered and I had a hard time finding the projects that I was assigned to on the site.

We used to use this for task management in our company before and it's a real mess to manage.

Pros: Does the job of task management in the most simplistic way as the features are limited.

Pros: I liked the UX of this and the design was quite sleek. There is a desktop version which is nice. There were a lot of features which can be useful for bigger teams but if you're looking for an easy solution for small teams this may not be it.

Cons: There are other apps that are more intuitive to use. I found it to be a little confusing and hard to learn. Also found it hard to stick with, unlike some other productivity apps I've used before.

Pros: Asana is great for small businesses and the way that tasks and projects are organized make it easy for administrators and users. The interface is very clean and easy to learn.

Cons: There are some limitations around flexibility and being able to really push the limits of the software. Applications like Wrike are able to organize and display multiple tasks, hours, deadlines, calendars, etc. without getting too clunky. Asana isn't quite yet there.

Comments: Asana, in my opinion, is an exemplary task management tool. Sleek, simple, and elegant, this software functions with ease and efficiency.

Pros: Best way to manage task and projects.customer service agent is extremely basic, almost austere, in its approach to project management. It is at heart a task management program that also happens to replace email and streamline communication.

Cons: It lacks in features..Enterprise-level businesses should probably steer clear of this software, at least for now, but I do heartily encourage small and medium-sized operations to give Asana a try. What it lacks in features it makes up in sheer usability and a wealth of relevant integrations.

Pros: Since they allow 15 users on the free plan, this software is an excellent way for a startup to get their projects off the ground with very little setup and without having to configure servers or software. The feature set is deep and the ability to truly organize many projects is made easy through a very nice on the eyes UI.

Cons: Definitely excels at project collaborations with multiple people. For solo projects there is better software when no collaboration is required on a team

Overall: I was able to assist a startup in launching their business which included a website, branding, marketing plan and business development. Everyone was on the same page and everyone knew exactly what was expected of them and when. Discussions could be had inside the tasks which cut down on the back and forth text messages and emails.

Pros: I like the quick communication the interface can convey between two people on a team. Great easy conversations, file attachments, and calendars for teams to share information easily, effectively, and naturally. The service has excellent design and functionality and, at the same time, easy to use. I like the function of organizing projects for each participant and for the team as a whole. This helps to assess the pace and dynamics of the project.

Cons: I wish there were a few more features. Also, I would like to have a stronger reporting function. I was able to figure out how to create multiple reports by putting tasks on multiple projects, but this is not an ideal way to get an overview of your workload.

Pros: It's go a really easy and intuitive interface. It's really great for collaboration and teams to get on the same page and have a single location of all tasks. You can also assign and delegate tasks between the users of a team, which is pretty slick and makes assigning responsibilities very easy.

Cons: If you use agile or scrum, Asana can work for you, but other, possibly free, tools will work much better. We use it as a secondary management tool because of that. It's very slick and easy for what it does, but I haven't seen it do all that much.

Overall: Easy organization, quick task lists, sharing task lists, recording of various meetings and ideas

Pros: Asana has an extremely user-friendly interface and it is so easy to manage multiple projects across multiple departments. Asana is an excellent project management tool, because it allows you to create to-do lists and tasks, and also allows you to download any files related to this particular project, which is very convenient and allows you to store all the information in one place. It is also easy to mark and assign tasks to colleagues, create several projects and organize them, and also cooperate in many departments without being confused.

Cons: There is no big overview of all the projects in one category, and the presentation of the calendar leaves much to be desired. Also, I would like to see the possibility of integration with the GMail calendar.

Pros: This software is powerful. There are still features about Asana that I want to explore, but which I know could help me in my usage. I like how flexible it is, and how much information can be stored inside of it. For instance, I re-vamped the way that my workplace was using Asana, by storing all relevant standard operating procedures (SOPs) *within* task descriptions. That way, when someone asks a "how do I" question, or if we hire a new person, the needed information is already there. It's worth the money to be able to duplicate templates that contain information like that within the tasks.

Cons: Some of Asana's features are messy to use, so I go around them (e.g. the "Today," "Upcoming," sections of My Tasks). The problem: tasks that are assigned to me, and which I set for as "due today," unfortunately don't automatically appear in the "Today" section of My Tasks. That doesn't work for me, because moving there is an extra step that becomes inefficient when I'm managing hundreds of tasks. I use a work-around of creating a special project for each day, and then I add "due today" tasks into that day's project.

Overall: Asana has helped me take my ideas about running a small office efficiently, and turn them into a reality.

Pros: Easy to use. Ensures our team is effective in managing ongoing and one-off projects with ease. The roles and permissions allow us to easily collaborate on projects without overwhelming everyone with too much information and too many notifications. The new Timeline (Gantt chart) allows us to visually see our milestones easily and spot possible risks. The app is easy to use. There are loads of great features - one of my favourites being the flying unicorn that appears when I complete a task. Hooray for mini-celebrations! With the help of zapier, our workflows are super automated.

Cons: The paid version is a little steep with larger teams, but well worth the cost. The custom template functionality needs a bit of love - we seem to need to make a bunch of adjustments every time we launch a template project.

Overall: Organised team and projects.

Pros: Communication with the team and the organization of the work process has never been so easy for me and my teammates. Asana has absolutely everything you need. There are a bunch of useful tools. Manage all the tasks and projects assigned to your team fast and smooth. Feel the maximum unity within the team. This seriously gave us a huge leap forward in productivity. Marking of goals, creating notes is a super convenient process. This is a truly multi-functional product that will cover all your blind spots in the workflow.

Cons: It must take a little time to start utilizing all the capabilities of Asana. So be prepared to spend a few moments of your life in order to start using this platform fluently. But don't be scared, It's not that hard.

It's great cloud platform for organizing personal and work related tasks.

Pros: I think the best thing about this program is the number of options available to users. You can use as little or as much as you need.

Cons: I was very hesitant to use the software as quickly as my peers. I regret not getting myself organized sooner.

Pros: There is no better tool to manage projects and tasks.
I was able to start using asana with little to non training since the tool is supper intuitive and user-friendly
The free tear was a great to start, and once your my team got to a point where we needed custom fields and tags it was really easy to upgrade and get all the extra features that made our work flow even better.
Lots of templates to get started designed by industry professional and we also made our own in house templates exclusive for our teams workflow
Asana is constantly adding new features and pushing updates which we find really helpful
Integartes really well with other tools (Google apps, time doctor, zapier, sales force, dropbox, etc )

Cons: There is not a lot that I don't like about Asana. They always roll out new features. There are some small stuff that I wish they'd improve like the ability to add your own way to sort your own Tasks and maybe ability to track time spend in a tasks inside the app with out having to get another tool like time doctor.

Used it as a project collaboration and milestone tracking with contractor and 3rd party companies.

Pros: Asana is a really great platform for keeping track of the progress of team projects. Team members are always notified on the progress of their projects and helps everyone know what's going on as everyone in the team gets notified via email. There are also many integrations that help track work and make things efficient. There's no need to go back and forth with emails and chat cause you can have all communication within Asana to keep everything in one place so you don't forget details which can happen when you communicate in multiple platforms.

Cons: The only thing that may be a Pro or a Con is that EVERYBODY gets notified even for communication for a specific team member. This may sometimes be a hassle when there are a lot of team members in one project who are in constant communication. With all the notifications of everyone coming in, your email's inbox can get a bit messy. There's a way around to "private messaging" but it totally defeats the purpose of getting everyone in the loop. It may help if there's a function for team members to choose the option of getting the notification or not when he/she is not mentioned.

Comments: Tracking out the progress, allows better team collaboration, Prioritize tasks on the dashboard, drives out better results. In general, a Project can be categorized and can be divided into goals to employees, which make each piece of work traceable.

Pros: One of the best team collaborating and productivity app built to showcase the tracking of the project. Named as editor choice award, and originally built by Facebook co-founder to efficiently track the progress of the employees then opened to enterprise level and one of the common app which you see as an integration in Dropbox, google drive, Evernote, zipper and harvest.

Cons: It is an app from ownership can be extended at that point, access to the project and it's deadline creates an enterprise and contract company to reach their goals on time, but not every time. A time allowance should also be given for better work-life balance. Reported Big projects simultaneously can be divided into minimal parts.

Pros: We use Asana to track every project that comes through our office. Some are huge, multi-part, involving many moving pieces and people. Others are quick, one person fixing one element. For both, Asana is ideal--clear delineation of subtasks, communication in the comments, ability to drag and drop attachments.

Cons: There are a few elements I wish were part of Asana--I wish URLs would link within the subtasks (though they do in the comments, which is useful). I wish there were more color options for projects and tabs--we use those as a visual aid/guide, and there are so few options it's not quite serving its purpose for us. There are probably a few other small things, but obviously these are really small--the software is an ideal tool for us.

Overall: We no longer have issues with a task getting dropped or forgotten--the ease of assigning of it to a team member has meant that each project is always on someone's work queue. And we can easily see all our upcoming work, and what each team member is engaged with.

It takes more time set a to do list than just doing the task takes. It's overkill in my opinion.

Pros: Asana is a great project management software which I use daily. I have used it in the past for medium-sized projects, coordinating up to 7 team members, but I now use it to handle my own individual projects.

What I like best about Asana is the way you can create lists and sublists within different projects. In this way, I find it extremely easy to see exactly what I need to do and how urgent it is. Besides, it allows you to use colourful tags, assign deadlines, leave comments, task descriptions, attach files, etc. Another cool feature is how you can move tasks by dragging and dropping.

And the best thing is that, in order to handle my own individual projects and other small ones, Asana doesn't cost a penny.

Before Asana, I used a couple other cloud-based solutions, but in the end Asana won me over.

Cons: What doesn't really convince me yet about Asana is the board option. While other competitors do offer some board-based project management, Asana does it but I think it still needs some polishing.

I've used Asana both for solo project planning as well as with my VA. Efficiency gains are amazing.

Cons: The inability to toggle between board and list view. If this was available it would make both brainstorming and execution easier. We could simply brainstorm in board view and switch to list view for execution. The mapping between the two doesn't seem very difficult so not sure why the Asana team does not provide this.

Pros: We can assign Tasks to members of the team quickly and easily. Each team member can see assigned tasks and give comments and completion status. Everyone remains up to date about the progress of projects.

Cons: Reporting remains the low point in free subscription. The reports in the free account are limited and offer very little value.

I liked this product but not much. But it is very useful software.

Pros: Asana has more hands-on features and functionality than its main competitors but is still relatively straightforward and clean to use.

Cons: It's less immediately user-friendly than other similar tools, so it has a little more of a learning curve.

I really like this tool, but have a hard time with the price.

Pros: This tool is very easy to use and enables for to-do list style note-taking and project management. I like the ability to add start and end dates (premium) as well as assign tasks to other people on my team.

Projects can have tasks and subtasks with different owners and due dates. There is the ability to add descriptions, comments, and tasks. When I login, I see all my "to-dos" across all projects.

Cons: Full project life cycle and elements are missing. Files and notes feel intermixed in the to-do's and not on project landing pages. Assigning a task to multiple people is clunky. There is no way to accept all the subtasks to close a project without deleting a project. It's expensive.

Overall: A central , templated, sharable project management tool has been great for task management in my organization.

Pros: I'm using the free version and there are so many features. It really helps me tackle and organize big projects with a lot of tasks using the projects, boards etc. This app benefits my productivity immensely!

Cons: I just can't thing of anything. It works great! I've created some immense online course in violin playing and I've got this app to thank for a lot of my effectiveness.

Pros: Asana makes it so easy to set and assign tasks and attribute deadlines. I found it useful being able to create channels for the various functional areas that make up a project as a whole - it's easy to make tasks under each functional area clear. I like that you can mark something as completed and it will disappear from your task list, but you still have easy access to the completed task (and its notes).

Cons: I do not like that I cannot switch between timeline and tasks in the software. At first, I found it difficult accessing the various functionalities of the software, it wasn't obvious how to use it.

Pros: I like how it syncs our To Do tasks. Everyone knows what everyone's needs are. I like how it emails me what has been complete so I know I don't have to do it. It reminds of Bee Communication. Great job Asana.

Cons: There is nothing really I don't like. Logo is neet, name is neat, product for team work is neat. Although the name was a little strange for me, but it grew on me.

Pros: The software overall follows a structure/logic that works well for me - projects, task lists within projects, the ability to assign tasks to different people, etc.

The search feature and the different ways to display projects, task lists, and task were very useful for understanding the current and completed work.

I also liked that we could navigate between team-based workspaces to see what other teams within our organization were doing, without having to actively work in the same space

...and I LOVED the "extra delight" feature that would send narwhals, unicorns, and other fun creatures sailing across the screen in celebration of completed projects

Cons: We needed to to associate documentation, notes, and chats with projects as a whole (not just embed them within tasks), and the free version of Asana didn't allow this.

We found that the paid version was *very* expensive, and there was no discount for academic institutions. Also, their customer service reps frequently got in touch with random members of the team to try to convince us to switch to the paid plan. They were really pushy, and they didn't add any value (ex. providing a compelling argument or offering applicable expertise) with their calls.

Finally, the interface design is optimized to feel fun and friendly - large, slightly goofy typography, bright pinks and colors, etc. We ultimately (for many reasons) switched to Active Collab, and the whole team feels like the design is more efficient and professional than Asana's.

Pros: Works well for our team - we used it for marketing projects with our client, put there all the data and files and used it as number 1 tool for the functioning of whole agency. It is cheap and very functional solution for small teams and works well with that type of business.

Cons: In comparison to other tools, we found it slightly less intuitive than for ex. Basecamp, but still this is a good tool for a bargain price.

Pros: I like most about this software is that it is designed to improve communication and collaboration of the team, particularly to help me facilitates the planning of tasks and project management with my work group.

Cons: There is not something that I do not like about the application so far. But I would like you to advance in a more holistic version of the software that allows you to include the social network inbox such as Facebook and Instagram.

Overall: The benefits are multiple, including: agility in project management, allows me to track launches and iterations, simplifies project plans and sprints for goal-oriented goals, as well as communication with teammates, makes it easy to make announcements, questions or comments.

Pros: Asana is a great way to get all of our ideas on paper and then translate those into actionable to-dos. We can easily collaborate across our team and track each person's progress.

Cons: It's a very powerful tool, however there are some ways it could be a bit simpler to use. I'd also love for them to implement some type of project management component more similar to Trello's features more than what they currently have.

Overall: It allows our team to track everyone's progress and then quickly map out to-dos for all of our projects.

Pros: Very easy to organize by projects, dates and more. Can keep track of 1 project with subtasks and even see your tasks via calendar.

Cons: Whenever it is updated, a task will send multiple emails and it can get annoying when there are multiple files being uploaded, you will be notified about every single one. Same with comments. Could be changed so that any amount of comments made in a specific amount of time (ie 5 mins) will be sent as 1 email notification.

Pros: I like the ability to attach files from Google Drive and the flexibility to move between a sort of "card" based system and tasks.

Cons: It seems like it's difficult to pick both tasks and cards. The menu is a bit cumbersome, especially on the mobile app. I usually am brought to a list of tasks that I don't care to work with, and I have to search around on the app to find the project I want to work on. It seems like it isn't very intuitive in that way on the app. The online web platform is a bit better as far as intuitive, and you can't beat free for the introductory price.
