Pros I have started using Zoho Books initially and gradually I explored other Zoho products as well. In a few days, I got to know about the Zoho Expense and I was like this is the tool I need. It makes my life really easy by offering the easiest way to record my expenses for the company and other employees as well. Once the expenses are recorded in the Zoho Expense, it will directly be shown in the Zoho Books. I just love this feature. Cons Well, there are no cons I have noticed but for the unfamiliar person, it might be a little tricky at initial to learn and to use it. Everything expense related is included and if you can't find something it's likely available in another Zoho app. If you travel for work often like I do you'll also appreciate travel expense and mile tracker features. Employees can scan a receipt using their phone and upload it to Zoho Expense in probably around three seconds. No need to keep a shoebox full of crumpled up receipts.Don't forget SSL encryption. Skimping on that is a big no-no when it comes to expense and financial records. Cons I didn't think it was easy to use at first. Probably for about two weeks. I'm fine with it now but it would be m7ch more convenient if it was easy to use from the first start up. The only factor I don't like is the cost of it. Maybe there could be a free solution that allows only particular expenses/costs reports to be generated, rather than paying for the full features, which I don't use at all. I did find it a little bit tricky to use and I did end up duplicating expenses that I was unable to rectify - not on the app or on my Zoho Books. So perhaps find some vides on how to use it correctly before it causes a problem in your accounts Pros I love how easy it is to capture reciepts and expenses and that it links up to my Zoho Books so it only needs to be captured once. I love the approval feature for employees and the reimbursements too - it just makes admin much easier. Cons As a beginner, I found it a bit tricky to use. I am not an accountant and am just starting to manage my business accounts better, and I just found that the jargon of the software was not that straightforward. I ended up with a problem on my main Zoho Books because of logging the receipts incorrectly and some were duplicated which caused some confusion. I would suggest to make it more user-friendly and easier to use. I can see people who are not tech-savvy being really stumped and unable to use it. Pros Once you get to the page to submit your expenses, it easily allows you to submit expenses, organize them by category (transportation, food, entertainment), and submit them. You can easily add multiple receipts and it scans the amount from the receipt. Also It shows you possible duplicate expenses (but sometimes things are the same amount so this is not always correct). Cons It is not the most user-friendly website and is pretty difficult to use. I've used it for over 2 years and still get a little stumped here and there. Right when you log on it's confusing where to go to navigate to the expenses feature. And once you are on your profile there are so many capabilities, sometimes it gets lost among those. You also need to create a report, and then add your expenses to add to the report, so it takes additional steps. Review Source DR David R. Pros We used to have to manually track and manage all of our expenses, which was time-consuming and prone to errors. With Zoho Expense, we can now manage all of our expenses from a single dashboard and ensure timely reimbursement. Cons It's so easy to use and also it ensures reimbursements on time. The only issue I had initially faced was that we have to arrange a small training for new users to make them understand how it works, but it wasn't a big deal as the convenience of tracking their expenses helps them to track why and where the expenses are getting delayed. I would recommend it for people just starting out. It was easy to download from the App store. Pros As a small business, I wanted to have a means for me to record all of my expeneses easily and effortlessly. With Zoho Expense, I am able to label my expenses and categorize them quickly which makes reporting much easier. Every time I incur any kind of expense, I simply add those to my profile. Cons The one thing I disklike about Zoho Expense is the calendar feature. Every time I enter a new expense, it does not default to the current date and I have to go and peruse the calendar for the current day. Another thing, too, is that I wish there was a way that I color code expenses which makes it easier for me to find things. We needed something that we could use for expense reporting and reimbursing employees. Zoho Expense allows us to create all the approval flows we need and has an easy to use app for our entire team. Cons The QBO integration pulls in your exact account names which employees outside of finance don't need to see this, so we just created our own categories for expenses and then can code them accordingly. Otherwise, the software works great and we have not had any issues so far. Switched from [SAP Concur](https://www.capterra.com/p/380/Concur-Expense/) Concur was causing us issues with reimbursements and was outdated. So, we made the switch to Zoho Expense because of the price structure and the modern look and feel. It is much easier to use than SAP Concur. The app can automatically capture receipts from your phone and categorize transactions based on spending patterns. Zoho Expense is easy to use. It's intuitive, which makes it a breeze to take pictures of your receipts and track mileage. Cons Just to be picky, the only downside I found was the price which might be an issue for smaller businesses who are looking at this option but still want something similar.
