### "You Really Messed Up Rolling Out The New Platform"

It was great in the past. Now I can't even sync my expenses to QB Desktop like before. If you're going to offer the old version as well, then restore it to how it was originally. I am looking into a more user-friendly platform.

Nothing at the moment...still struggling to find what I need

Cons

The most recent upgrade has disrupted our interaction with this app. I haven't been able to locate all the features from the previous version and the previous version has also been changed and nothing is where it used to be. Working from home is challenging enough...I didn't need something else to re-learn. This was bad timing for the rollout of a redesigned website. The default information on the dashboard is annoying and you can't customize it. Bad, bad timing...this is a big FAIL. You really should get a group of your current customers to test drive new platforms in the future before rolling them out.

Great. Customer Service always resolves import issues. I like this more than I did Expensify.

Pros

Super easy to use for entering expenses and integrating to Quickbooks. Love the different ways to enter receipts from web pages, to emails, to photos...

Cons

Sometimes a report will not import into Quickbooks because the scanning function enters a special character that QB will not import.

Everything's so good, that I became wary that it must be too good to be true. I mean, this literally beats Expensify in price and features -- everything. I'm very appreciative of the free trial because I was even able to sample how good Zoho's customer support is. I can now confirm it is NOT too good to be true; it's the real deal. We'll be using this for our startup company which has a 100+ headcount.

Pros

I love how granular you can get with Zoho Expense, you can create custom rules so employees don't go over a stipend policy. Freaking love the price. I've demo'd with a bunch of other vendors, dude. You cannot beat the price of Zoho Expense.

Cons

I only wish managers could see their direct report's spend in the Analytics module.

Zoho Expense is an off-the-shelf feature-rich solution for time and expense tracking, especially with tagging ability to project items and customer records.

Pros

Overall user interface intuitiveness was a well fine-tuned and quality checked feature of Zoho Expense along with the ability to track and tag expenses to project items or customer records, without even going between forms was the most loved feature.

Cons

Lack of offline workability had made some concerns on the overall implementation because the users were traveling where the internet is not available and the admin staff had to process manual entries to be in sync in such cases.

I have had a positive experience with ZOHO. I believe their customer service went out of their way to help us set up a direct feed with our bank account for our credit card transactions.

Pros

I like the ease of logging in and getting started. It is user friendly and I enjoy the layout.

Cons

As an Admin I would like to have a better way of downloading the information for the entire company.

We have been attempting to bring together trip management, expense approval and expense reports. Zoho brings them all together well.

Pros

Zoho expense is an easy to use solution right "out of the box". It integrates well with QBO and was easy to figure out. It is easy to add users and they can self-train.

Cons

There are no key features that are missing. Since we're also in the SaaS business, there are always UI/UX issues, but overall, Zoho has created a nice expense solution.

We had a lot of recording issues, tracking payments and expenses of the school including various remittances of students.

Pros

It is very easy to use even for novice and beginners. It categorizes all expenses into headings. It allows for Bank account to be linked and downloaded into the software. All expenses are downloaded and it is user-friendly. The navigation is perfect and easy to use. Chart of Account is well detailed. Account reconciliation makes accounting and bookkeeping accelerated. There is no delay in generating reports and tracking expenses based on budget.

Cons

I have not had any issue using this software and it has served the accounting department so well and it handles all discrepancies.

Pros

This platform is extremely easy to use for our users, and management staff, and for software to be used regularly by employees it has to be easy. The expense reporting experience takes up very little time, and helps management quickly identify areas of waste.

Cons

It would be helpful if the platform integrated with financial institutions like quickbooks or quicken, where you could quickly identify any missing reciepts.

Pros

I'm really excited about the receipt uploading feature. Receipts come in all shapes and sizes - this tools makes it easy to organize that mess. Customization of the approval process is also key - it allows us to manage by exception.

Cons

We are having some issues getting our corporate card feed into the platform. I expect it to be resolved, but there is likely a cost to us to get that data into Zoho which I was not expecting. At the right scale, the cost is immaterial, but it hasn't been as easy to get set up as I expected.

Pros

This software makes my life a lot easier! What I love the most about Zoho expense is that I can send receipts to my own email zoho address and it goes directly to Zoho and automatically creates an expense that detects the amount and basic info, like the merchant and type of expense.

Cons

That is not free for small business like mine that can't really afford to buy it yet.

Very helpful, have been using it for quite a while now.

Pros

That it's free! At least the entry tier, and that is enough for here. And the print quality of the receipts is better than what we used before (Expensify, I think) It's feature-rich without appearing bloated. Good mix.

Cons

When you apply an advance payment, the report no longer gives its total, but rather the remaining rest of the advance payment, and that's irritating. The header could be just a little more customizable.

Pros

An intuitive, easy-to-use expense management system. It allows users to quickly and easily track expenses, submit claims for reimbursement and generate reports. Additionally, Zoho Expense integrates with other Zoho making it easier and seamless to manage finances across the entire organization.

Cons

If you want to integrate it outside Zoho Suite platform it could be a gruesome task.

We have saved a lot of time once we started using Zoho. Moreover, the accounts team can breathe easy now because there is no more risk of duplication or missing receipts.

Pros

Its ease of use and customizability are the top features of this fantastic tool. Keep tracking of expenses and settling them has never been easier. You can click a picture of the receipt and upload or scan, no need to carry the old receipts with you. You can talk to their support team and get it customized according to your needs.

Cons

Well, to be honest, I didn't dislike much. One thing which I can point out is that it does get buggy sometimes and does not calculate or associate the right tax value with the item.

Overall Zoho Expense offers a reliable product that is easy to use, relatively customizable, and gets most things right. They lack enterprise level support, but their price point is right for the product.

Pros

Zoho expense has auto receipt capture that quickly and accurately takes information such as the amount, date, and merchant from receipts. This saves time, and with the phone app, ensures that receipts can be captured immediately.

Cons

Reports that don't need to be reimbursed still get put into the "waiting for reimbursement" status with no option to change that. When a report with no reimbursement gets moved out of that status, the users will be told they've been reimbursed, even though there was no need. A reimbursement role would be nice as well, for someone who doesn't need admin to see reimbursement reports and issue reimbursements.

More efficient expense management. Good mobile client.

Pros

The mobile app is very good. Having a possibility to photograph your receipts immediately when the expense occurs and then submit them to automated scanning that will pre-fill the forms is excellent. When the expenses will be actually claimed, it is easy to refine the pre-scanned expenses and submit the full report - all on mobile.

Cons

There is still room for improvement in producing the project or client specific expense reports, for example to enable fully transparent cost reporting to clients. Also, bulk-editing multiple entries in the report approval, for example changing the expence category would make it more efficient to use.

Our overall experience has been great! We would recommend it to anyone.

Pros

I love how organized Zoho Expense keeps our company spending. It also integrates with our accounting software, Zoho Books which helps keep all of our expenses in sync.

Cons

It is somewhat difficult to figure out as a beginner. We also had issues with connecting Zoho expense with our Zoho Books.

I have used Zoho products in the past. They are always improving and developing. This app meets my needs for the moment but I am definitely looking forward to seeing it improved.

Pros

The mobile receipt capturing and auto scan features are great. Processing is fast.

Cons

Running/exporting reports or searching for certain items is very difficult. I don't always get what I'm looking for or have to alter it later. The workflow of the app/site could be better, there are some crossovers and gaps that don't work well. Merging of duplicate receipts, merchants, and categories specifically. It would be nice to integrate online banking and credit cards for receipt verification purposes.

### "Well worth your money"

Our organizations have been using ZOHO Expense for several years. Their subscription rates are very competitive - less than most, and every bit as good as the best.

Pros

ZOHO Expense has done an excellent job making their software more efficient and intuitive. It is as simple as taking a snap shot of your receipt, hitting upload and filling in the details. Whether you do that on your mobile device or upload invoices right from your computer, it's so simple anyone can do it. In our case, we have two organizations - ZOHO Expense made it very simple to switch between one and the other. ZOHO Expense is always adding new features to make the process even better. The admin is able to customize the app to fit their organization - the customization are endless. When it comes to submitting it to our accountant, it one or two clicks and done. After tying several expense report apps, I highly recommend ZOHO Expense.

Cons

I seem to have issues where my credit card does not sync between the bank account and ZOHO Expense. I'm not sure if it's the fault of ZOHO Expense or my bank.
