Zoho provides us with a good tool for categorizing and approving credit-card and reimbursement transactions.

Pros

The software has been adopted well by our users, who say that they find it easy to use.

Cons

The export function creates a file that has formatting that is incompatible with our existing ERP solution. Also, while expenses can be split among multiple categories, they cannot be split among multiple departments and funds.

I am pre launch still and I use Zoho for all my expenses.

Pros

It is so easy to use! I am venturing out in entrepreneurship and everything is new to me. It is so good to have something that is easy to use and that I am supported on! It is not stressful to use Zoho expense.

Cons

I believe what I don't understand is due to my own naivete in the subject. I love the fact that Zoho has an expert team that is there for me.

Pros

Zoho has saved our organization so much time in expensing receipts. The app is perfect for quickly taking a picture of a receipt instead of having to scan it. Before, we were using forms to track reimbursements and all reimbursements were given using physical cheques. I am so thankful to quickly receive a direct deposit after submitting a report. It is also saving us money! It is so easy for supervisors to track and approve expenses and make sure they are being reported properly.

Cons

It can be really difficult to reconcile the tax on receipts. It is not always clear what was charged as PST or GST and there's no simple way to edit the tax. I also often have to split my expenses between multiple departments and this is very time consuming. I wish there were an easier way with fewer steps.

Easy to use, easy to customize, great product for mobile and online users. Other products need to look at this product and see what an expense tracking software should be like.

Pros

Easy to custimzae if you watn to do so, easy to submit reports, add users.

Cons

The custom email address which may be used to send your receipts, is it a bit hard to find after initial setup.

### "New users of Zoho Expense from Replicon"

Our company recently transitioned to Zoho Expense from Replicon. This new system came at a much more affordable price and is fully loaded with features that Replicon did not have. The setup of the account was easy and the training of the employees went relatively smoothly. So far, everyone loves it.

Pros

So far, I've received almost all high remarks from my coworkers over this system. It is very easy to get the hang of using, the UI is very user friendly, and it is very affordable. The receipt scanning and the email forwarding features are great time savers while on the go. The reports approval process is very well done and makes expense reporting and payment very easy.

Cons

The only thing that comes to mind so far would be the occasional issue with the receipt scanning software. Sometimes it will have issues causing the upload to take a long time and once uploaded it sometimes has an issue with populating the fields correctly. Overall, i still think this is a great provided feature.

Cons

Haven't used it long enough to notice any cons, so far its makes my expense logs easier which is why I tried it!

I don't have to keep paper receipts...upload or take a picture and move on. Expense reports are still a hassle, but much less so.

Pros

The receipt scanning is quick and accurate. The drag and drop functions are nice for uploading receipts. The app is fairly light and easy to use as well.

Cons

I don't like how when you scan receipts it duplicates the image on your phone. If I take a photo through the app and the software needs to create a new file to scan it or upload it or something then delete the original. Or at least have a toggle option to delete the original. I just don't like having additional clutter I need to clean up.

I really liked it but the features could work better. For example the invoices look mint and the editor is great but editing line options on the invoice was difficult to find. I thought that when doing each invoice it may be an idea to either show your input into it in real time or allow you to edit the template with your input in real time. I would prefer inputting directly into the invoice template than the system back end.

Pros

I like the access to various apps that support each other and fully integrate

Cons

You have to learn a lot of it yourself and it can be time consuming to setup.

Reason for choosing Zoho Expense

Because the look and feel still did the best for me and was pretty much what I needed although it could be better Theres a lot I still dont know about this software and there is a lot of areas you have to learn yourself to do/. The admin team are there on support when you need them tho and they were kind enough to extend our trial when we didn't even ask, and added more pages to social for us so that we could demo it to its full extent.

As a small company, we used different Softwares of Zoho and it was very effective to integrate Zoho CRM, Zoho Books with Zoho expenses. Despite, there were sometimes confusing moments with this software, Zoho expenses is a cheap, productive and user-friendly software for sales and customer relations activities.

Pros

1) The automatic accounting of expences feature of the software makes workflow very smooth and easy. The effective integration with other Zoho Softwares particularly with Zoho Books can be very supportive in customer relations activities in tourism field. 2) Zoho expenses make the reimbursement procedures very quick and reliable. There is only a need to click one button to accept, decline or transfer reports. 3) A tracking expenses tool helps a user to make an effective set of tasks and customise for customers which are required in workflow

Cons

1) There are sometimes problem to save regular expenses in the software. In this regard, adding expenses manually all the time can take much time. 2) It is good to use the software on smartphones but there are often bugs in android phones when a user uses the software. 3) It is possible to say that the software has issues concerned with automatic notification system when errors happen. Due to my experience, I had this problem during scanning reports.

We had a slow start getting our corporate card connected directly to Zoho Expense. Since then the users and admins have not had any issues at all. We find it a very useful tool.

Pros

We came from using SAP-Concur and the support couldn't be more different. The support from Zoho is great - it is generally a simple call, you get a human right away, and they help you....right away.

Cons

There isn't anything I don't like. Some things to make it better would be to add features related to reconciling transactions with our bank as well as being able to scan invoices, not just credit card receipts.

We love using Zoho Expense. It makes expensing easy and is much cleaner than using an Excel spreadsheet to track.

Pros

We love how easy it is to report expenses within this software. We can easily upload receipts and have them automatically attach to the correct expense. It is also easy to categorize expenses and keep track of them and then submit at the appropriate time.

Cons

The reporting is a little bit clunky at first. In order to record a expense, you need to attach it to a report which can get a little difficult.

Our team is on the road constantly. This product makes it very easy to manage all those expenses and make sure they get billed to the right place.

Pros

Easy to manage work flows, the email and webhook notifications are awesome. The app that autoscans receipts and fills in the details is also very good

Cons

Only complaint is that you can't connect something like Zapier to automatically create projects in Zoho Expense

Pros

Zoho Expenses is very easy to Use. It has online help documentation which helps a lot if you're stuck with anything. Also, very good customer service if you need further help. Best of all, it is cost effective compared to other apps in the market.

Cons

The only issue I have at the moment is, I haven't been able to link the credit card to get the automatic feeds into the system. Besides that, I don't have any issues with Zoho expense. All going well - very happy with the overall experience I've had so far with using Zoho Expense.

\- We've been able to reduce processing time by 1/3rd as it has helped us create a system/ process for expenses. - We've cut down on 100s of back and forth emails over payments as every staff member knows at which level does the payment lie. If it is not submitted, not approved by the head of the department or is lying for approval with finance. It helps everybody have a clear timeline. - We've cut down on numerous impromptu payment requests coming in from different sources and we have zoho now as a one point source to request payments. It helps reduce the errors and keep our finance team sane!

Pros

We like the transparency and ease to customize. For us as a company, it helps all levels of staff to know exactly where the report is and the timeline around processing. It helps us avoid the exchange of 100s of emails over petty issues.

Cons

I wish we could disable a few features that do not apply to our organisation. Zoho has already customised the software a lot for us, but having a features not in use disabled on everybody's dashboard would reduce some questions/ uncertainty.

Zoho expense is a very easy-to-learn tool with minimum training that can simplify the process of expense approval with any unwanted delay. Users can easily track where their expense approval status is pending to ensure timely reimbursement.

Cons

Currently, Zoho Expense is mainly supported in English, so users who prefer a different language especially may have difficulty using the software for the time otherwise I have seen no issue in rolling it out throughout that organization
