My entire team has moved to using zoho expense and it has simplified the entire reimbursement process.

Pros

We loved the ease of using part of zoho expense as well as the comprehensive features and attention to detail

Cons

The expense reporting feature seems a bit redundant

Pros

Receipt scanning is very convinient and effective. it tracks all the details of the receipt and update in the system, no need to manually type in the details.

Cons

We need the receipt copies to be print on the same sheet of paper for accounting purposes. Still exploring if Zoho Expense has this features.

Simply great.

Pros

My Company uses Zoho Books. We got some free licenses for Zoho Expense, which are really worth their weight in gold. My team and I do incur a lot of expenses on a daily basis and this is one of the best ways to keep track. I have sold way more expensive expense management solutions in my career and this one is right up there. The mobile interface is sleek, can take snaps of the receipt and fill in your expense right away or scan and send them to your Zoho email for auto-generation of the expense.

Cons

There is nothing not to like in this software. That said, I haven't seen or tried the splitting of bills between colleagues or splitting expenses between multiple profit centers.

Zoho Expense bundled with Zoho Books is an unbeatable combination. You can bill expenses to customers directly and reflect the journal entries directly in Zoho Books. This is a must-have software for any startup of small scale enterprise.

Pros

Not much, sorry. I've used better products.

Cons

Clunky to use and not intuitive. For example, cannot switch between the four people I do expenses for without going back to my profile every time. Search function doesn't work so it's difficult to find historic charges. Just not a smooth and intuitive platform.

Pros

Ease of use and clarity for accounting purposes. I've used expensify, quickbooks, replicon, and a few others and this is the simples one I have.

Cons

Being able to generate reports by currency and tax rates would be good.

Zoho Expense for tax and accounting purposes is a fantastic and an cost effective way to keep up business travel, mileage for local travel for consultations and installs; at least for me. This is can be set up for you and for anyone else you have hired. It allows direct accountablity and a solid paper trail so that everything is done by the book. Highly recommend for small businesses.

Pros

The set was very straight forward and you have the opportunity to customize it for your needs. I have tradespeople I work with to and from jobs and recording mileage for reimbursement is key. Also when I travel for business for trade shows, it is an invaluable tools to keep track of receipts for travel when tax time comes around. I love the integration with quickbooks and my bank. You can customize it for your particular business, big or small. It doesn't have to be intricate and there is always help when setting up and there is a tablet and phone app so everyone can record their mileage, air fare and incidentals.

Cons

The learning of the actual software can be a little much, but with support online and via phone. You finally learn and you're able to train others.

Pros

How easy it is to use and how accurately it recognizes all fields from pictures of very differently formatted receipts. Captures with poor light, skewed, receipts with wrinkles and hand scribbles, etc. It can handle it all. The Optical Character Recognition is soooo good that I'm convinced there has to be a team of human "last pass" checkers helping the OCR to accurately populate all fields. I don't know how they do it, all I know is that after more than a year of use I think I've had to manually enter or fix fields for only a couple of receipts. I take the receipt picture and done. I also love how easy is to assign a receipt to a given expense report. I can scan all receipts at once and later create the different expense reports (per job or category, etc. ). Later I can quickly go through the receipts and click this one belongs to this report, this other to that one, etc.

Cons

I honestly can not think of any cons.

\- Incredibly easy to use, even for our employees who have never used expense platforms before. - Great mobile app. - Easy to integrate direct ACH payments for reimbursements, and corporate card streams.

\- Would love an integration directly to our G Suite directory, but for now we need to separately invite users.

Overall great despite one, maybe two, minor annoyances.

Pros

More basic layout, not too many extraneous features and settings I'll never use. Pretty intuitive and user friendly. Makes finding, editing, and creating new expenses easy.

Cons

When you take a picture of a receipt using mobile upload in the app the photo saves to the device, but I don't need a copy once it's in the app the saved photo just takes up storage space on my phone.

Pros

The software is generally easy to use in either mobile or web versions. It also complies with our policy that "If it is not in the cloud, it is not allowed".

Cons

There are certain limitations on the customization of forms. There is also an instance that when a user is tagged as an approver, his/her Payment Advance is being approved automatically.

Pros

It imports my expenses from my corporate forms of payments and automates the process.

Cons

There doesn't seem to be a receipt guarantee like competitors have for transactions that are imported from linked banking/credit card accounts. This would be helpful for when I forget a receipt or lose it.

Integration with other Zoho Solutions

Pros

Free version for a small or individual is more than enough but probably will end up having the whole Zoho Package and pay for it, which is OK and depending on needs recommended. Support replies within few hours but not always provide solution.

Cons

User interface is not friendly. Some features not working properly. Receipts not always printed on report or bad quality. Text recognition could be much better. When taking pictures of receipts does not recognize edges automatically like other business card scanners or scan to PDF apps.

The sales team responded immediately. The trial period was long enough to make a confident decision on the purchase. Customer support follows up in a timely manner.

Pros

The mobile app and the ease of set-up and use of most features. If I have questions customer support responds in a reasonable time-frame. Integration of Forte has made reimbursements a simple task, unlike our prior paper trail, copies, handwritten process and now we don't have to print checks!! Wonderful.

Cons

The corporate credit card set-up was difficult for me. Likely my problem... I'm 63 years old. At times I don't understand the "non-native American English" speaker's accent. Great people, but the accent is tough to catch.

Pros

We love Zoho. We use their entire business suite. ZOHO expense helps our executive team better manage our accounting. Bulk Add allows for batch uploads. Almost automated process with very little data manipulation.

Cons

It is a bit more expensive than some of the other expense tracking and cloud accounting, but it is worth it.

Zoho Customer support is top notch! always there to help

Pros

Zoho is extremely easy to use. You do NOT have to be an accountant or a computer genius to use it. The expenses module is an easy way for you to keep track of your travel expenses as well as your employees. And that is my favorite module to use! Books module is also very easy to use and we can easily see the net profits of the company. The reporting functionality is simple and to the point.

Cons

It still has a few features that could be improved. the opportunities are all there it just needs to be expanded. i.e more filters, more customization

The automatic scanning of receipts. It takes time and is inaccurate. I would like to be able to turn it off entirely.

Great experience!

Pros

I love the ease of use of this product. The interface is awesome and streamlined. The app makes tracking expenses so easy. A must with the product is the chrome extension which allows you to take a screenshot of your online purchase and it scans it to the expense report. So no more importing pictures. The other pro is the email forward too in email.

Cons

I haven't found a con with this product. All the issues I have found have been customized for my preferred settings.

Pros

One of my responsibilities is to oversee the AP function and expense reporting is by far one the most tedious aspects. ZOHO helps alleviate a bit of that headache with their online and mobile app platforms that allow users to upload and submit information electronically. More over, ZOHO has the capability to export their information in far more detailed fashions then other desktop and mobile applications including AMEX and Citi. I also like the approver and reminder functionality the app enables for the management team. For example, we can set a reminder for the user when something is "unexpensed" after a period of time. Then they expense it and the approver is then reminded when something is "unapproved" after a period of time.

Cons

The set up can be difficult. I wish they would offer various basic set up templates you could import or copy and then edit for company policies.

Overall very good expense management tool comes free for 3 users.

Pros

Very good application to manage all the expenses especially if your employees travel lot keep track on the expanses Mobile application is user friendly and easy to use, very less fields and fast processing as compared to web interface Also has currency converter feature to calculate international expanses.

Cons

Mobile application hangs or crashes sometimes while uploading large files more than 7 MB Advance management feature required.
