It was decent. I do a lot more for my business and that is why I switched to another software. I do believe this software will benefit someone who is just starting out.

Pros

I like the cost of the software as it is competitively priced against it’s competition.

Cons

It does not have as many features as I would like. It may be good for someone who is starting out.

Simplifies processing travel reporting and handling of paper receipts. Easy to use on mobile phone or desktop...anywhere, everywhere!

Pros

It is so simple to use. Saves me many hours of processing consultant travel reports. I no longer touch 'paper'. And, the best part...a nice consistent pdf format with my logo, accounting, and scanned receipts for my clients. My consultants love it! And, asked me...where has Zoho been all my consulting life!

Cons

I like everything. There was nothing I did not like!

### "Switching to Zoho Finance"

Interface and user experience is good and easy to navigate. Instructions and tips are well placed and creating your first report and adding users is not a difficult task. Going to trial to see if we can move to a full roll out.

Pros

I like the many options for submitting an expense and the ease at which you can do this instantly or store expenses for categorization and submission later on. It is intuitive and covers pretty much all the aspects I need for financing a range of employees both office based and remote workers.

Cons

I would like to see the option of being able to create different report templates for different employees who have varying circumstances, e.g company or personal car. You can do this by creating separate company policies for individuals but that is not overly clear.

Pros

Uninterrupted service, except two times we had to not use for 3-4 days due to some technical error.

Cons

Reporting's needs to be more useful, and reminder need to be sent to those approver who have reports pending for approval.

I have been using Zoho expense for 5+ years. I test another product but always comeback. E Easily the simplest product against its peers

Pros

Very easy to use and uncomplicated. Sensible layout and easy to follow.

Cons

Not a great deal to dislike. If there is 1 criticism, not much colour, but the new version seems to have addressed this.

Pros

Easy easy easy to upload receipts, auto scan them, and create an expense report.

Cons

Sometimes if the internet connection was wonky, it’s not always clear that the upload was successful. It also seems like the Expense and Books should more intuitively integrate in the future.

I manage a company in the US from Italy. Zoho Expense helps me with the trip's authorization and the travel expenses control/review. Before using Zoho there was a mess with advance payments and/or late reimburses; a lot of excel files and no organized information. Now I can authorize the trips, keep track of the different expenses and the employees are happy because it's easier to report the expenses and they're reimbursed with the first paycheck after they submit the request. All of that remotely with 7 hours timezone difference.

Pros

Easy set up as an administrator Easy user interface

Cons

recognition of the receipts uploaded by the app a little slow. some minor inaccuracy in receipts recognition

I am generally happy with the app and appreciate it integrates to Books; just need to schedule time I guess to understand exactly how that's intended to work.

Pros

I like having the ability to enter expenses through the App and manage my receipts when entering

Cons

I didn't see how to fully integrate this to Zoho Books for reimbursements. I made one reimbursement but don't think it was properly records in Books.

### "Great Receipt Tracker"

Pros

We use this to keep track of all receipts for our employee debit card holders. They record all their expenses, and we have set up Zoho to compile a weekly report that automatically batches them for me to review and enter into our financial software. It has vastly improved the timeliness of getting receipts turned in, and decreased the rate of lost receipts to almost zero. Although we aren't using the software exactly as intended (as a way to report business expenses on a corporate credit card), it is working well for us and has the right price point.

Cons

I attempted the Quickbooks integration and it worked but for the way we are using the app it won't work to integrate because it forces me to choose a credit card account in our books to pay the expenses. It would be amazing if we could assign it to pay the expenses from our checking account, as this is what is actually happening due to debit cards. As is, I had to disable the integration and go back to manually entering.

I had a not-so-good experience with the currency option. I could not change the default currency even if I already categorized the transactions to a different currency.

Pros

What I like most about Zoho Expense is that it has transformed my expense handling for my multi-office business by making it more efficient to process AND by treating our employees better. It's a win-win all around. I also love that we can handle our per diems through the system as that has always been a challenge in my company.

Cons

So far, I have not found any areas that I would say are "missing" for us.

Easy to use and manage expense management tool.

Pros

This tool could be very useful in organizations who need to keep track of their employee expenses. This tool can also create the report in easily understandable format of the expenses. It also has mobile application which syncs to manage the expenses in handy, the application can run on both IOS and android operating systems.

Cons

The mobile application does not support large files typically over 7 MB’s such as photos and documents.

I like that we have one place to collect and produce expense reports. I like that you can sync credit card charges to Zoho. Overall it works for our purposes.

Cons

I'd like to be able to choose which card(s) under our company credit card account I want to sync. Also, I'd like to be able to place a receipt in the receipt inbox, merge it with the expense that was sync to my Zoho account then place it in the proper expense report.

Very useful especially because of its direct integration with Zoho Books Makes it easy to track all petty expenses

Pros

No training required, get operational and be effective in tracking spending by the team right from day 1. One interesting thing that it offers is Receipt OCR, found it quite cool and pretty good in interpretation.

Cons

Minimum 10 users is actually not necessary, could have been a little lesser in terms of affordability like Zoho Books

Great application. Easy to use and administer. Right mix of features including mobile apps. Great value for the price.

Pros

Although price is what drew us initially to consider Zoho Expense, its the features and functionality that has kept us as a customer. We originally used Concur and found it to be too cumbersome and far too much for our needs. Zoho Expense fits our needs, and budget, much better.

Cons

The inability to have users able to enter or create expense requests on other behalf. Although this feature is in the pipeline now.

I use Zoho to capture reimbursable expenses for our small business.

Pros

Zoho is very intuitive, but when I have a questions, I am usually able to get answers quickly.

Cons

The software works well for our needs. The hardest thing to figure out was some of the integration with Zoho Books to align expenses categories and reconcile correctly, but once I figured these issues out, it has been very easy to use for expense tracking on our business.

Love it - we are a multi- zoho project using company. the products work well, staff is happy, we are definitely more efficient because of the software

Simple, easy to use, can add on users easily.

Cons

Our staff is on the road and the adding of receipts using the apps frequently causes duplicates for the corporate card charges that are fetched and added. Staff wants to add the receipts on the road and put in receipt mailbox, but easily to add to folder on desktop that going to receipts inbox. wish that function worked better

The integration of Zoho expense in our system has greatly helped with submitting, tracking, approving and recording reimbursements. This minimizes the amount of time towards that task. Zoho is something that I would recommend to other HR professionals to integrate to simplify expenses processes like these.

Pros

The way Users and approves get to always see the status of an expense is amazing. Also the administrator gets the option to record the date that the reimbursement was credited and through which mode so the approver and the user know the status of their expenses. I also like how easy it is to set someone up in the system.

Cons

I haven't found any cons to this software so far but it would be nice to have more accurate readings for the mileage on the app. Also it would be nice to be able to add or have auto populated merchants in the system while submitting expense.
