### "Zoho Expense"

Zoho Expense has been a useful tool, and has decreased the number of receipts lost. We are now able to keep all receipts digital.

Pros

Very easy to use when on the road. My reps are able to quickly take a picture of the receipt and then go back to it later to fill in the information regarding that transaction. As a company we had an immediate decline in lost receipts which will help us in an audit.

Cons

I would like to software to connect with the credit card company to verify all transactions have been complete. Our accounting team must reconcile the credit card statement with the Zoho reports to make sure all transactions have been documented, this costs us time and money.

This is a new experience still figuring it out

Pros

its mobile and allows me to record my expenses any time, any place any where when convenient so I don't forget, and most of my expenses are billable to clients.

Cons

it's a learning curve to ensure all the integrations happen, I thought by downloading the app against the main ZOHO Books account it would sync and did not realise it would not work this way

I am so happy to be using it. I highly recommend it.

Pros

This software is just what I needed for money management for remote workers, currency conversion, funds carry-over and automatic calculation. It's working out better than expected, and our remote workers can understand the software with ease. I also love being able to send a forward email of my expenses directly to my Zoho account.

Cons

I wish it would update the currency exchange rate automatically per the date of the receipt.

So far fairly impressed with the expense system. My goal is to try and automate the expense portion wherever I can. It looked to me like this system will allow me to do some of this. Going forward I hope they continue to work with automation and allow even easier of review/approve/submit features.

Pros

A lot of automation built in that helps with building expense reports. Generation of data built off scanned in receipt. Email integration Extension integration to scan a receipt

Cons

Found a few bug's where the support was very quick at responding and working on resolutions. (Fixed 1 and working on 2nd) Would like the ability to customize expense report and see less "white space".

Pros

We have been using Zoho Expense for a while now. It is great with smartphone apps and the ability to email or upload receipts. It is a lot of functionality for a very affordable price point.

Cons

There aren't integrations for the tools we use (Xero, Bill.com).

Fast and easy to setup and configure for new users

Cons

Some interface buttons and links were not intuitive, but they were fine once I became accustomed to where to look

Everybody in our firm who uses it loves it.

Pros

We love the autoscan feature where you can take a picture or forward a PDF and the expense is scanned, categorized and documented.

Cons

Getting the bank download feature set up was a little confusing, but we worked through it. Their on-line service helped.

my experience is positive. Although it takes me some time at first to get familiar with all the available options and features, once the navigation is mastered, the tool becomes quite intuitive to use.

Pros

What I like the most is its ability to expedite my expense reports. With this tool, the process of recording and tracking my expenses has become much easier and more efficient.

Cons

There are a lot of options and features, which can take some getting used to navigating efficiently takes a bit of getting used to.

Zoho has been a refreshing change since I left Concur expense earlier this year. Their pricing is excellent and their support team is quick to respond any time I encounter trouble. I find zoho meets all of the goals I have from an external expense tracking system.

Pros

The app and user interface are easy to use and make expense tracking simple and efficient. Receipts transfer director to quickbooks, so i can pull them in directly from quickbooks in the future, putting all the expense information in one place.

Cons

There are some issues with the system creating duplicate vendors that the support team is working on, I am hoping that is fixed soon

SO easy to use. I love that I can input my receipts as they are produced. Its saved me so much time every month doing my expenses and returns. It also integrates with my Zoho mail

I dont have any cons to report as yet. It has been great

Some feature might be missing BUT as this is not a standaline product but works very well with other zoho products, Zoho Expense is indispenable to our company

We our very happy with our decision to implement Zoho. The pricing model is great for a small business and the setup is quick and easy.

Pros

The software is feature rich, especially for the price point. Our users find the software easy to use after minimal training which keeps our human resources free for other projects.

Cons

The only "issue" that our users have is the fact that the date format is in standard international and as far as we can determine there is not a way to convert to a US date format. It isn't a problem, just an irritation.

So far a bit disappointed with the daily crashing. My rep was using an iPhone 7 which may be the cause... Would still like to review the app to gain more insights on the functionality.

Pros

Really like the UI and functionality of the app

Cons

The app crashed on a daily basis making it hard to track the miles. My rep just took pictures of his odometer from start of the day to the end of the day.

Pros

As I am constantly travelling internationally, the mobile apps' multi-currency - including OCR recognition is good. Appreciate the customisations for multi-project and expense categories.

Cons

Limited templates and customization for the PDF report making. Would recommend a report template organized by project and/or customer.

We are very satisfied with the product. We have had good feedback from our clients, who use Zoho to submit their expense reports. They meet the deadlines without any problem. It is an ongoing process that facilitates them with easy ways to edit expenses, attach receipts, and send reports.

Pros

Set-up, implementation and training was simple. Zoho support was all the time helping us to go through all the steps to customize the application according to our needs. It is a friendly user application. Integration with QuickBooks Online was not an issue at all and doesn't need extra software to connect.

Cons

There are some banks that don't facilitate the automatic integration. However, this can be done manually. The statements are uploaded into Zoho without any problem.

Zoho has allowed us to store receipts digitally (saving space in my file cabinet) and get better descriptions of purchases. Using Zoho has definitely cut down on the number of lost receipts on staff credit cards (even by youth workers)! It has been reasonably easy for staff to figure out how to use on their own and works equally well on Apple and Android devices.

Pros

Function for the cost. It does everything we need and keeps us within budget. They even gave us a discount as a non-profit. It was also intuitive enough that I was able to get it up and running without a lot of extra training/issues. I watched a couple YouTube videos and called customer service with one question.

Cons

When I add a new budget category, it is automatically added to everyone's policy list instead of being able choose the often one or two who actually need it. I would also like to be able to completely eliminate mileage as a category.

It is kind of easy to figure out if you take the time to sit down and pay attention. It is great for those needing structure and really don't know what is needed from an accounting perspective, but also for someone that wants to DIY the process to better understand what their account/bookkeeper needs.

Wonderful. The customer support are reasy to work with. I was able to get started on my own really quick and was able to implement the expense module pretty quick.

Pros

Affordability, has all the functions I need to record, reimburse expenses. Good reporting.

Cons

I love Zoho expenses but the reporting feature for parent/child category works well only if yuo also use zoho books and see it under general ledger. Since we are also getting zoho books for our accounting needs its not a problem. I'd ask the developers to give the general ledger type of recording for the expense module also.
