It has been great. We would buy it again!

Pros

We use this software to track reimbursable expenses for our small company of 5 employees. It is excellent for this purpose, easy to use and has performed without any downtime.

Cons

Not able to do complex things like assign credit card purchases to different users.

We've really enjoyed the time-saving aspect for staff who often do lunches and meals with others. One of our staff that used to have a hard time with expense reports has been our STAR user of this software and has even helped to train others.

Pros

HUGE time saver for my church staff; they can simply scan a receipt and enter in the details within 1 minute. At the end of the month, they can just click on submit and all the info comes to me. I love the customization of categories, as well as putting in rules to let users know when they're violating a spending policy. So helpful from an HR perspective! And storage of receipts for IRS purposes is an obvious plus.

Cons

It doesn't connect with ACS Technologies Realm accounting (however; that's not on the fault of Zoho, that's because Realm doesn't work with anything right now, it's in early stages.)

It's made adding my expenses much faster the the old hunt and peck on a keyboard method! Saved me lots of time.

Pros

I love zoho expense, its so easy to use and has made life so much easier. It captures each receipt by photographing it, it will even read the name of the merchant and apply it to the right category.

Cons

Sometimes it refuses to take the name of the merchant, rewriting it incorrectly. That can be a bit frustrating but its only happened once.

Easy way to keep me organized as I don't have a lot of time spare for administrative needs, and also low cost commitment allows me to save expense as a start up business.

Pros

Easy to jump into using the software with almost no prior experience using such a tool for accounting and billing. I really like that it links with my bank account to advise me of when I have been paid by clients. Another thing that I don't have to think about or manage too closely.

Cons

The process of linking expenses tied to a specifc account can be a little confusing to the novice user- must make sure you set up the customer account completely and correctly first, then associate the expenses with that account. I don't think it is a massive issue though and it will not take much practie for me to become more proficcient at using the software.

Pros

Zoho expense helps me a lot deciding and managing the budget and expenses. It has got great and easy user interface to manage the tool with an ease. It helps me monitoring the amount spent and advance payments which also helps me predicting my future budget for my personal use and company use also.

Cons

Zoho launches bug fixes and improvements at slow pace. So they need to speed up for their improvement for the better user experience.

Helped us formulate a proceedure for submitting expense reports to finance which had previsouly been a bit mewssy and time consuming for both employee and finance dept.

Pros

The user interface is great and covers everything we need.

Cons

Customer service is a joke and the corporate cards do not work. Still awaiting them to be configured for a direct feed, should take a couple of days, in our case a couple of months and still not working. Customer support say they need more time and be patient until they come back to us. Last correspondence from them was 2 weeks ago. I've run out of patience now.

Quick expense reporting and no paper!

Pros

Very simple to use, quick to input expenses and a great "catch-all" for expenses. I love the fact that I can collect a month's worth of expenses and selectively submit reports.

Cons

Originally I used this software on my cell phone and on my pc as a stand-alone user. I've now onboarded a new person into our company located in a remote location and as such, I have no major issues with the software.

It is very easy to use. Also very easy to navigate and upload expense details. Itemized report is also possible

Cons

I encountered with issues when uploading a photo. I don't think this is my phone or computer issue but zoho issue.

In my opinion, it is a useful tool to manage my expenses, but I am still learning how to use it. The receipt scanning and tracking functions are really useful, but I have had some difficulties with customising the reports and the integration with other applications. Overall, it seems like a useful tool for basic expense management needs.

Pros

Good for tracking of expenses, reimbursements, and vendor payments in a single platform. It has features such as receipt scanning and credit card integration, and analytics and reports to help you. Goof for identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Cons

I have not used the application enough to detect bugs, but the functionality of the mobile application is limited compared to the desktop version.

Zoho is easy to use, setup and configure. It makes invoice processing much faster, and is a huge upgrade from the paper forms we were using.

Pros

Zoho expense is a wonderful product. It does everything you expect of an expense management software. It's simple to use, easy to setup, and the API and documentation is top notch. There are many ways to customize it to do exactly what you want. Furthermore, it does everything other expense management software does at half the cost!

Cons

Unfortunately, they use actual humans to do the "auto scan" which is a privacy concern. Furthermore, we couldn't itemize taxes, but we found a workaround for that.

I need to track expenses with receipts and be able to extract a report. This serves that purpose quite well. I did use QB Self Employed which included invoicing, free ACH one click payments, tags, ability to attach receipts, etc. I do not need the one click payments so I switched to a combination of zoho expense and invoices plus YNAB. I would like them to connect but as a small business that is a minor inconvenience.

Pros

If you need to categorize expenses, attach receipts, work with team members, approve spending this is a good tool. It is fairly easy to use. You can clone entries and edit them.

Cons

A little overkill for a solo LLC. I don't use QB. I use YNAB which you can't link. The initial import was a little painful. I did need to go through each one. I had to hack the name to display what I wanted to.

Pros

We have been using Zoho Expense for our company expense tracking and bill reimbursements. So far the feedback has been good. It's easy to use, and quite user friendly. I have personally never got lost using the application while filing for reimbursement or recording a project/company expense. Easy to upload receipts.

Cons

It would be awesome to have an option to edit the reports after submission, as a lot of items we make mistakes or forget to upload receipts. Right now we need to delete the report and create a new one.

Pros

Integration with scannable is a great plus, very good character recognition , and sometimes categorisation. Easy to make reports, most bills gets there. I save so much time using it. Integration with other systems a very big plus. Everything in the cloud. Great

Cons

problems with foreign letters like hindu/thai etc. But it will probably improve. With other alphabets the OCR have problems. That could be improved.
