I was struggling with the Reco and voucher management and Zoho expense really helped me with that.

Cons

Nothing to not like about Zoho expense. All the features are on spot. Excited to see more development, par my expectations.

Cons

I'd like to be able to cross-allocate expenses into multiple reports. I want to be able to have different types of reports like yearly, monthly and expense specific.

Pros

How easy and self explanatory everything is. I also love how I can itemize everything so I know where I'm spending.

Cons

I think I need to use it more frequently to answer this.

Zoho Expense keeps us organized and saves us time.

Pros

The ability to input expenses and capture an image of the receipt or invoice on the fly makes my life so much easier. No more piles of receipts laying around for a month. I enter it in Zoho Expense and take a picture of the receipt. So simple!

Cons

We are based in Canada and have employees across North America. The only minor issue we had was that we had to setup two organizations with different base currencies. It would be nice if you could set a base currency per user. That way we could all be in one organization. Not a deal breaker for us though.

I discovered Zoho on accident and as a realtor I have been grateful for it ever since! It's easy for me to track my expenses. I love using the mobile app and just recently began using the desktop site. All of it flows with ease and I really can't say enough about it and the value is great!

Pros

Love how easy it is to use. The auto scan feature is HUGE! It makes an intimidating task like doing your taxes so simple.

Cons

I haven't found much that I don't like about this software.

They do respond to your customer service enquiries but it would be so much better if I could book in to their calendars rather than emailing back and forward. They do eventually solve the problem and help you. Just be patient.

Pros

I love the functionality of the tools. It really is a one stop shop for all you could need when starting up. The price for what you get is also incredible.

Cons

It took the support team a while to get me set up and it seems there are big gaps in instructions and the support teams instructions didn't make sense to me. so I had to organise a confernece call each time which for every time i needed help has taken weels. But now that I am set up and know what I am doing its great.

Reason for choosing Zoho Expense

Because it integrates with zoho invoice which is what I use.

The ease of use of the application and deployment reduces the staff training time and costs

Cons

The functionality needs to be expanded to allow for detailed budgets and customization of expense systems to suit other project costs

The ability to enter all our office expenses electronically, and capture all the receipts with my phone's camera, is a real time-saver. And everything is uploaded and stored in the cloud, so I can work anywhere and anytime!

Cons

Sometimes the App Server syncing is very slow even though I'm on high-speed Wi-Fi connection. Email alerts are getting delayed sometimes.

I have tried and not succeeded to get the GST component to be automatically added in. I have to do that for every expense item.

Pros

If you are already using the Zoho Suite, then you should be using this for expenses. It is stupidly easy to use. Integrations are great all around. It is just simple, easy, and quick to use.

Cons

The scanner functionality doesn't always get it right. In addition, there doesn't seem to be an easy way to rescan it to try and upload again. User guide and customer support is lacking and needs to be better.

Questions answered prior to purchase and during setup were answered quickly and comprehensively. Lots of customization and integration options.

Cons

Only allows you to account for reimbursement in a single home currency. Have to manually select tax type and input tax total on expenses vs. having it scanned.

Expensify's QBO integration didn't work for us and their support was terrible. Weeks to get a response, no follow-up and they never in the end after a few months fixed the integration!

Saved me time having to review and correct excel expenses templates we use to have. Staff is now responsible for their own expenses.

Pros

It's inexpensive. Easy to set up and explain to staff how to use. Easy to have separate companies for different currencies. The design is nice. Editing submitted reports is easy and fast.

Cons

When you create a new user and you don't have enough free users available there is no way to pay for an extra account without losing the data you just entered. Better visibility on how many free accounts you have would be better as it would save time redoing the new user set up. When you want to pay for an extra account it takes to a completely new page and then doesn't return you to the New User set up page, this process could be smoother.

Highly recommend this software both on usability and price. The app is great and the online web interface works really well.

Pros

This is a great app for small to medium teams to track receipts and submit reimbursements. The app is great and easy for staff to understand. The approval and reporting is really well done and easy for administrators to manage.

Cons

Staff reporting was in a different menu than expected. Took a little getting used to but makes sense now. Initially getting all staff on the same account was a little buggy but now that we are past that it works well.

Pros

Very simple and straightforward expense tracking application, it's also cheap, and even free for 1 - 3 users. A great addition to Zoho Applications. We are using it for some time now and we are happy about it

Cons

Nothing specifically is wrong or bad in this app, its simple expense tracking application, and it's good for people too who are already using Zoho

Zoho Expense makes my job so much easier! I love that I've never had to explain how to use it twice to an employee.

Pros

I use Zoho Expense from the admin side. I work with a large number of people who rarely use computers and Zoho expense is so easy to use, I've never had a follow up question from my less tach savvy coworkers.

Cons

I have no complaints. It's very easy to use.

It is very easy to navigate and easy to learn.

Cons

I initially got this to save time and not have to manually import credit card transaction. Roughly two months ago Zoho Chase Bank Feed stopped working. The majority of our expense come from Chase Credit Card which make this process very time consuming. It took a long time to get the bank feed set up just for it to stop working.
